[3rd POV]
After holding the sobbing girl in her arms for a rather long amount of time, Wanda had let her go as she wiped her eyes clean of the tears that were previously streaking from them. A small sniffle still left her as she looked up at Wanda, obviously embarrassed with what had just gone down.
"You alright now honey?" Wanda asked, wanting to make sure that Amity had gotten it all out of her system, and was okay after the long cry that she had just had. It was a much needed cry though, so Wanda wasn't going to say or do anything more than make sure that she was okay after it.
"I'm alright, I just...didn't think you would accept me so easily" Amity replied, wiping the wetness from her eyes, and finally getting her emotions under control. At least to the best of her ability, she was still emotional from the acceptance of Wanda.
"Of course I would! Why wouldn't I? You are already a member of this family, Amity. Even if you didn't realize it, both Naruto and Milim see you as their little sister. So don't go thinking that you are not wanted, because you most certainly are. By Raven, by Milim, by Naruto, and by me" Wanda responded a little surprised that the girl still didn't understand that she was accepting her into the family.
"...Aren't I older than Naruto?" Amity asked with a tilt of her head, while registering the words of her new mama. The fact that she was being accepted by everyone in the family. That she was a member of the Maximoff family.
That she was no longer Amity Blight. But was now Amity Maximoff, daughter of the great Bookstore Witch.
"Best not bring that up in front of him. And he will still insist that he is your older brother regardless" Wanda replied with a small chuckle, knowing that her son was going to see himself as her older brother no matter what she said and did.
"How can he be my big brother when I am taller than him?" Amity asked once again, making Wanda chuckle.
"How about we just go and tell them the news? You'll see their reactions then, and can come to your own conclusions. And either way, I would avoid talking about your brothers height, he is rather...irrate that he is so short" Wanda responded, knowing that her son was hoping for a growth spurt.
He would be having one of course, as she knew that there was a very high likelihood that he was going to be around 6'4 or so. More than tall enough for...well anything, and the height that he personally was hoping to be around. She had no idea why he wanted to be so tall, but he wanted to.
Wanda thought it was kind of funny.
The entire thought process behind wanting to be taller was funny to her in general. As being taller was actually more of an annoyance than a positive. As the taller you are, the harder your life gets. With things like cars being hard to get into. Shoes being hard to find that will fit you. Clothes that would not be in your size because you are so big, and stuff like that.
Wanda personally liked to be around average height. Not too tall, not too short. Just enough to be able to do pretty much anything a tall person could do, while not having to deal with the annoying side effects. Although basketball would sadly never be in the realm of possibility for someone that is not over 6'0 at the very least.
Hearing her mothers words, Amity nodded slowly. She wanted to bring up the idea of delaying the fact that she was now officially a member of the family, but she knew that she had pushed it off long enough. She also knew that her siblings were not even remotely as dumb as they liked to show themselves as. Meaning that the two of them would almost instantly notice the difference in her personality and the way that she acted around them.
That and she did not want to stop calling Wanda her mother or mama. She liked to have someone that she could truly rely on, someone that truly loved and cared for her. Someone that was a true mother to her. And that someone was now Wanda, and she did not want to hide that, nor did she really see any reason to hide that.
Back in Boiling Isles was one thing, where hiding it might make her time a bit easier there. But in the privacy of her new home, there was simply not any reason to bother with it. Especially when her entire family was full of godlike beings that oculd literally slap her and she would die. Especially in the case of her mama and Milim.
Raven was around at that level at this point though, as she was constantly training and growing, and thanks to her own monstrous talent, she was growing faster than even Milim was, which was saying a LOT. Milim was growing and adapting pretty much constantly, and she still was not growing at the same rate as Raven.
Raven was like forty to fifty percent faster than Milim was when it came to her growth, which didn't sound like a lot, but it was a MASSIVE difference. It also meant that it was only a matter of time before Raven caught up to her, and then surpassed her.
Naruto was also growing rapidly, but not at the same level as Raven. He still had a pretty good chance of catching up to Milim though, thanks to him abusing the hell out of his shadow clones, whereas Milim didn't really use clones very often. She preferred to take a hands on approach when it came to training and stuff like that.
She found the idea of using clones to be a form of cheating. And while yeah, it made her train far faster and develop far faster when she did it, it also took away from what made her enjoy training so much. To her, training was pointless if you just cheated your way through it.
Not only that, but it would make the enjoyment of besting someone powerful thanks to that training, far less earned in her mind. She understood why Naruto used clones, as he kind of needed it, it was a necessity for him. But for someone like her, with as much power as she had, she did not really need clones to grow powerful. Even if it would make her even stronger faster.
Wanda thought her thought process regarding clones made some sense, even if she personally did not agree with it. While Naruto thought she was stupid for not taking advantage of the power of the clones, not using them to their fullest like he had been. Which usually ended with Milim bringing up the fact that Naruto had only learned to use the clones to that level because Wanda had taught him to.
Without the knowledge that Wanda had granted him, he never would have thought to use the clones to learn and develop faster. And he would have just continued to use the clones to beat the crap out of people, and for nothing more than that. Which was not using them to their fullest like he did now.
And what followed was usually an argument that Wanda or Raven would have to intervene in, otherwise it would get physical, and then it would lead to a spar that would end up with Naruto on the floor, the snot beaten out of him by the far stronger, and far more skilled Milm.
There was a reason why all their spars were done with Milim holding back. She - even after all of his training - could defeat Naruto with a single finger. And it would only continue to be like that for a long time, probably years.
Wanda couldn't help but wonder how fast Amity would grow, and if she would ever get to the level of her older sister and her brother who insisted he was older than her. She honestly doubted it, but she supposed that if she got training under Raven, she could get to that level eventually.
Or if she got training from herself too. Either one would lead to her growing pretty damn fast.
And so, with her place in the family confirmed by Wanda, Amity was soon led up stairs to officially talk to her siblings, all the while, Wanda had one thought on her mind.
