Chapter 186 - They've been crying like this for almost half an hour

Early the next morning, Roy was woken up by a burst of crying.

When he got up and walked out of his room, he saw three girls hugging and crying in the living room.

Needless to say, the three crying girls were naturally Asia, Xenovia, and Irina.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I shouldn't have spoken to you like that back then!"

Irina apologized to Asia while crying. It seemed she was apologizing for her previous actions.

"I'm sorry, Asia! I shouldn't have called you a witch. Since the Lord is gone, my prayers go unanswered, and I can't offer any redemption. I'm sorry!" Xenovia was also sobbing.

"The Lord is gone... what should we do now?" Asia looked hopeless.

"What's going on with them so early in the morning?" Roy didn't disturb the three crying girls, but instead looked at Koneko and Ravel, who were eating breakfast casually.

"At seven o'clock this morning, the two holy sword users came," Koneko said. "They wanted to apologize for the rude things they said to Asia."

Koneko sighed as she spoke, a look of helplessness appearing on her cute, deadpan face. "Then they mentioned the news that God had died, and... well, this happened."

"Yep. They've been crying like this for almost half an hour," Ravel added.

"They can really cry," Koneko said quietly.

Crying for half an hour, saying so much, sobbing so loudly... and tears were still falling. You had to admit, just as Koneko said, they were very capable of crying.

"Shouldn't we try to calm them down? Crying like this will hurt their health," Ravel couldn't help but look at Asia with concern. She felt distressed seeing her looking so sad.

"Forget it. With Asia here, even if they cry their voices hoarse, it's no big deal." Roy shook his head helplessly. "It's fine, just let them vent. After all, the news of God's death is a huge blow to pious believers like them. It would be worse if they kept it bottled up."

Koneko looked at the three of them, who continued to cry as if no one else was around. She thought it was a bit funny that Asia's healing ability was being used for this. Cry until your throat is sore, get healed, and then continue crying?

"Have Rias and Akeno come back?" Roy scanned the area, but didn't see the two of them. They had gone back to the Underworld last night to report on Kokabiel.

"Not yet." Koneko nodded and said, "However, before the President left, she contacted me. She said this incident is rather troublesome, so as participants, they will be staying in the Underworld for an extra day or two."

"Have the three of them eaten?" Knowing that Rias and the others were still tied up in the Underworld, Roy turned his attention back to the weeping church trio.

"Not yet," Ravel shook her head and said. "Asia started crying with them as soon as she got up. Breakfast was just made."

"Do you three want to come over and have some breakfast?" Roy asked.

After hearing Roy's words, Xenovia and Irina paused for a moment, but Asia kept crying. Then, the first two started crying again.

"We'll go to school by ourselves after we eat. Asia, you should take the day off. In her state, she should rest at home for a day or two."

Seeing that the three did not respond, Roy twitched the corner of his mouth and began to eat his breakfast.

After eating, Roy, Koneko, and Ravel went to Kuoh Academy together.

"If you get hungry, just ask Raynare or the others." Before leaving, Roy gave one last instruction to Xenovia and Irina.

"Thanks..." Xenovia calmed down a little, lifted her tear-stained face, and thanked Roy in a choked voice.

Roy: "..."

The rest of the day passed peacefully.

When school was over, Rias and Akeno still weren't back. The Occult Research Club was naturally devoid of its usual vitality.

Koneko needed to complete a Devil contract, so she teleported to the client's home alone after school.

As for Kiba Yuuto, he held the holy sword factor crystal in his hand all day. He was planning to accept the crystal as Roy had suggested, accept the help of his fallen friends, and reach his Balance Breaker, [Sword of Betrayer], as soon as possible.

Ravel was getting along well with her classmates and was often invited to hang out after school.

So, Roy went home first alone.

"Master Roy, do you have time tomorrow night?"

Seeing Roy come back, Raynare and Mittelt walked up to him with nervous expressions. Although the two of them were currently taking care of Roy's daily life and knew his schedule, they still asked, worrying that he might have other plans.

"I'm free. What's up?" Roy asked.

"It was my former direct supervisor... he contacted me today," Raynare explained. "He told me that Lord Azazel plans to visit you tomorrow night."

"Azazel?" Roy smiled and said, "Okay, let's set it for tomorrow night."

'Vali is pretty reliable. As the Governor-General of the Fallen Angels, he's coming to visit in person.'

'It must be about compensation for Kokabiel's rampage last night.'

"Okay, then I will reply to him," Raynare nodded.

"What about Asia and the others? I don't see them." After Roy entered the room, he didn't see the church trio that had been crying their hearts out all morning.

"The three of them should still be sleeping," Raynare raised her head, glanced at Asia's room on the second floor, and said with a slightly helpless expression.

As a maid in the villa, the church trio's intense crying all morning had given her a massive headache. Fortunately, their physical strength was limited. After crying all morning, eating lunch, and reminiscing about their lives as believers when they thought God was still alive, they were finally overcome by sleepiness and fell asleep in Asia's room.

"Should we wake them up?" Mittelt asked.

"Forget it. Wait until dinner time to wake them up." Roy shook his head.
