Avery Jane thought with a headache, someone gently patted her on the shoulder from behind: "Avery, what are you thinking about? You're so lost in thought."
Angela Scott stood behind Avery Jane, holding a cup of coffee, smiling brightly.
"Nothing, Scott."
Avery Jane came back to her senses, her eyebrows slightly weary, speaking faintly.
"Avery, are you with Mr. Hughes?"
These past few days, things have been particularly strange, like Lisa, although she's been released, all her engagements have stopped.
"Don't guess randomly, he's just someone I know, that day I really had no choice but to ask for his help."
Avery Jane gave a bitter smile, a trace of displeasure flashed across Angela Scott's face, but it was so quick that nobody noticed.
