80 The mage
Shinya had escape through the hallway once again shown different parts of the castle and in front of his eyes was a long corridor hallway. In the corridor was multiple paintings.
A corridor that seemed almost ethereal all the dark royal colors with the same deep red on the ground carpet like structure, but with purple on the sides as it was colored a deep purple it was through this corridor that Shinya straight up saw it.
He saw the paintings of past kings and queens of this castle or perhaps they were from other castles it wasn't exactly explained as to what was going on. Shinya had just assumed the facts of the matter disregarding what could be seen as the truth and hoping that his truth was correct.
Further down the corridor he saw another room another open room. Looking closer as he walked towards it, he saw it. He saw Lucas once again he was in the corner of the room leaning over some sort of furniture or decoration inside of the room while some other figure was in the room. It was a mage of a sorts or at least that's the obvious first word that came to mind to Shinya.
He wasn't exactly sure if this was the case, but he decided to ignore his instincts for now and focus on Lucas once again.
"Hey Lucas!!" Shouted Shinya completely ignoring the obvious other person inside of the room.
Lucas glanced over for a second as Lucas was behind a huge black and red couch flipped over.
"Hurry and get the fuck over here and dodge his attacks! "Shouted Lucas over to Shinya.
Quickly just as Lucas had said the words Shinya rushed over to Lucas quick as he could even sliding across the floor at the end. The hard cobblestone tiles that were in this room causing skid marks on Shinya's clothes.
Hanging from the ceiling was a chandelier the size of a full-sized table it was obvious just how huge it was and the fact that it was used to illuminate the entire place. Though in this predicament it could be used in a different way.
"Hey Shinya, I have a job for you. "Said Lucas in a sarcastic tone.
"Well, nothing could be worse than the last one right "Said Shinya ignoring Lucas obvious provocations.
With both still hiding behind the couch Shinya made his move after hearing Lucas' plan.
"Hey asshole fucking wizard fucker come over here!" Said Shinya as he rushed over to the middle of the room right where the chandelier was.
Taking a closer look Shinya had took the time to look at the wizard.
He was an extremely tall and lanky man just like the knight though his presence was different it felt even a little creepy even. It felt like he wasn't looking at you like a human but a test subject. He was wearing a bright blue suit and a hat perhaps to differentiate him from ordinary people. With a massive stick that almost looked like a cane with at the tip of it a white spirit looking thing.
Shinya wasn't sure as to what it was so he couldn't describe it. Thought to him in his mind it just looked like a massive stick perhaps a cane even but with the wizard's eyes glowing and him chanting words out loudly. With his massive grey beard waving in the air as it was clear he was probably casting a wind spell to take the both out.
Quickly trying to dodge as quick as he could Shinya jumped to the side while the wind ended up just barely hit Lucas in his arm but at this point it didn't matter as lucas shot the chandelier with the wizard underneath it.
Instantly the wizard fell but it wasn't enough the wizard raised up almost immediately.
"Shinya run I got this down the hallway the king escaped he's going somewhere you have to chase after him it's up to you to get the answers Shinya." Said Lucas in a hurriedly tone before giving his full attention back to the wizard though.
The only thing Shinya could do at this time was keep going forward now passing by the wizard and Lucas and before it was Irene and the knight.
He just kept being told to keep going and fix the problem that was arriving later. Just why?
Why is he the one having to fix the ultimate problem?
Why are those feelings being put on him all it did was make him feel some type of way perhaps even a little resentment growing in his heart though now was not the time to focus on that.
All he could focus on was going down another hallway in which he could hear his footsteps every step of the way and he could feel his breathe on himself. He could see the people around him just struggling as he had to keep going on he had to prove himself now even more.
