Irene recalled her childhood and the type of man that he was growing up the way he out a massive set of expectations on just a little girl, or the huge amount of responsibility that was required of her.
She did not know why her father required such high expectations or what took place from his childhood or his mind that he wanted his own daughter to be the sole person to run the biggest farm in the steampunk age.
More than anything it just made her stressed and gave her anxiety.
To think about how she had to live up to these expectations also knowing that her mother was such a gorgeous woman yet everyone around her as a kid made fun of her for her looks.
Just how could she find confidence and be who she truly wanted to be?
Maybe that was the reason she was so sarcastic or tried to be funny cause if she wasn't who would find her attractive or fun to be around.
Though the reason why she chose to stay behind and fight him instead of Shinya was because of the fact of how he seemed. Just like her father that overbearing looming pressure of absolute strength that in the face of it you could do nothing but kneel.
She hated that feeling completely.
She refused to comply to that feeling so as a result she knew she had to achieve her goal and she had to win against him.
For herself and her feelings of discontent her feelings of anger and hatred and neglect.
To see somebody that looked or reminded her of her father it brought out those feelings again.
Deciding now though ultimately to ignore those feelings she went back to the truth of the matter this was not her father, and this was a life-or-death scenario she had to succeed and keep living.
With the man just feet away from her holding his long sword in his hand by this point he didn't hesitate to start to move at all.
Both instantly locking into a fierce clash as Irene launched herself up in the air with her steampunk boots and came crashing back down using her feet as the basis of her power.
BOOM!
A loud clash between the power of their bodies was shown as Irene pushed down with her boots and the knight tried to push up with his sword. It ultimately pushed him into the ground causing the stone floor below them to crack.
As after just a moment the knight pushed Irene off him and Irene retreated into a corner next to one of the pillars.
"You know I must admit child you do have potential though your witchcraft is not going to stop me and make me feel some type of way. I will not lose to you!!" Shouted the knight with his voice resonating in the air.
Quickly as quick as he could he dashed towards Irene just for Irene to spin in a circle causing the air around her to rise almost like a small tornado had formed around her.
The knight tried to pierce through the tornado only for it to not work as the air pressure was keeping his sword from going forward anymore. He expected to see her come through the tornado but that did not happen.
She came from above from above his head and she rushed down as fast as she could her foot reaching the back of the knights head. Pushing him through the tornado into it.
Not sure of what was happening anymore the knight couldn't control his feelings and knew he had to do something. Gathering the strength inside of him a bright light came bursting from his sword and his eyes glowed bright blue.
"Enough of the childish games. "Said the knight before completely cutting the tornado in half revealing Irene on the side of the wall farthest from the knight. It turns out that the tornado was constantly moving it wasn't standing in place it's just through someone field of vision it didn't seem like they were moving because they weren't taking steps.
On a deeper level though the wind itself was taking the knights feet and taking it to a specific location that Irene desired with her tornado.
The knight had no clue the entire time what was happening on her side, and it was clear to see.
Irene now on the side of the wall gathered the wind all around her on her feet and launched herself at the knight moving her body in midair that her feet would hit the knight changing her entire trajectory.
"I think it's time for your end. "Said Irene coldheartedly as her foot pushed against his sword and breaking it as her foot inch by inch reached the knights heart.
Her guarded foot pierced through the middle of his heart as she quickly moved her foot back and fell on the ground.
She was completely out of energy and the man before her only had a surprised look on his face as his body slowly fell.
Was this the extent of her own power the power to truly take another person's life? Did she have the strength to do this? Was this something she truly wanted to do repeatedly?
She didn't have time to think about that she had to continue at least that's what she thought before everything started to get dark, she had pushed herself to her limits to her bo dy's utmost limits and now it was back firing on her completely.
