The size of the Persian Empire is not on the same level as the Greek Region. It was the first empire in human history to span three continental plates: Asia, Europe, and Africa.
In this embryonic era of human civilization, it may not be the "strongest," but it is undoubtedly the "largest."
The Elder Race, along with the artifacts they left behind, have introduced too many variables into this world that seems both familiar and elusive to Lann.
