Those who drink this golden glowing Essence are forever merged with Raava, Spirit of Light and Peace, becoming the Avatar.
*You have the ability to bend all four basic elements (water, earth, fire, and air) but start out as a master of only one of them. The others you will have to figure out on your own or find teachers to help you learn how to control them. You can learn the more advanced versions of each bending style, but that will more than likely require a teacher to guide you.
*You can teach non-benders how to bend the elements, but they can only learn one and in order to teach someone an element you need to have mastered it yourself.
*You can access the Avatar State, but because you are the first Avatar in your line all you get is the full power of Raava with no skills or knowledge to draw on. Of course this means that when you die, you will be immediately reincarnated but sadly with no real memories of your past lives without any sort external aids to assist in the process.
*However your next lives will all possess not just the abilities of this Essence but any other Essence powers you may have. Yet if you have some means of cheating death and coming back to life, the reincarnation will not occur until your true final death.
