Chapter 303: I Am a Super Saiyan

Xandar.

The Annihilation Zerg fleet was bearing down upon them.

The Annihilator personally led his elite guard to conquer the defiant civilizations of the cosmos.

When the Annihilation Zerg arrived, the three major cosmic civilizations were the first to come under attack—and unsurprisingly, they were swiftly conquered.

The technological gap between the two sides was simply too vast.

However, among the second-tier civilizations, some refused to surrender.

One of them was Xandar, known for its exceptional inclusivity.

Xandar's greatest strength, of course, lay in the Nova Corps. Though they weren't particularly suited for offensive warfare, their defensive capabilities in protecting their homeworld were formidable.

That was because, in times of dire need, the Queen of Xandar could sacrifice herself to become the embodiment of the planet's will, bestowing immense power upon the Nova Corps.

During Allen's previous visit, things hadn't escalated to an all-out battle, so the Queen never used her trump card.

But now, with destruction looming near, she was ready at any moment to step into the planet's core and make the ultimate sacrifice.

The Nova Corps' starfighters formed a defensive shield, locked in formation as they stared down the advancing Zerg legions.

"Annihilate them," the Annihilator commanded.

The interstellar fleet launched its assault.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!

Round after round of artillery fire rained down. Gaps quickly appeared in the defensive shield, and a swarm of fighters took off to fill the void.

"Your Majesty, perhaps we should surrender," a concerned official suggested.

Facing such an overwhelming force, fear crept into many hearts.

If even the three great cosmic empires had fallen, how could Xandar—only a second-tier civilization—possibly stand against the Annihilation Zerg?

"Arrest him," the Queen of Xandar said with a mere glance.

Guards dragged the outspoken official out of the palace.

In an instant, no one else dared speak up, fearing they'd share the same fate.

"Surrendering won't change their intentions. So why not fight to the bitter end?" the Queen said sternly.

A cruel truth, but a truth nonetheless.

The Annihilation Zerg had already offered a chance to surrender. Miss it, and the only outcome was annihilation.

At this point, surrendering was no different from suicide.

"Your Majesty, something's happening."

In the live feed projection, a lone figure suddenly charged toward the Zerg formation.

"It's him!"

The Queen of Xandar immediately recognized who it was.

None other than the Yellow Lantern Allen, who'd come recently and conned them out of food and lodging.

Except now, he was clad in divine armor and wielding a hammer that unleashed violent bolts of lightning.

On the battlefield in space—

Allen gripped the Thunder God's Hammer, weaving through enemy ranks. The lightning coursing around him was enough to kill Zerg soldiers on contact, and even pierce through the hulls of starships.

With the power of a divine spark enhancing him, and control over the Thunder God's might, conventional warships were like paper before Allen—he tore through them with ease.

The Annihilator narrowed his eyes slightly, seemingly intrigued.

"Slaughterer, capture him alive for study."

It was clear—if the power of the Thunder God could be fully understood and applied to the Zerg, it could lead to the creation of a terrifying new force.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

The Slaughterer, standing over three meters tall, was one of the Zerg's monarchs.

He not only possessed immense physical strength, but also extreme speed and claws sharp enough to slice through space itself.

With a press of a button on his armor, he appeared instantly before Allen.

"Who are you, that you dare offend my kind?" the Slaughterer asked coldly from above.

RUMBLE.

Thunder cracked through the void.

"I am Thor, God of Thunder, here for the glory of the Norse gods."

"..."

The Slaughterer stared blankly at Allen, clearly confused.

"You've never seen Ten Thousand Cold Jokes?"

"No."

The Slaughterer replied with surprising cooperation.

Allen sighed and lamented, "We really need to give domestic animations time to grow… they haven't even reached other worlds yet."

"I'll cripple you first."

Uninterested in idle banter, the Slaughterer launched a sudden attack.

His long, skeletal body was segmented with joints that shimmered with a metallic gleam. Four scythe-like tendrils protruded from his back, so dark they seemed to absorb all light, and capable of slicing through anything.

WHAM!

Before Allen could react, he was sent flying into the wreckage of a starship.

If not for the divine spark's protection, his body would have been torn in half.

"Ugh… my back…"

Allen grimaced in pain, groaning in a way reminiscent of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man injuring his spine.

"Pathetic weakling," the Slaughterer sneered.

As long as he held a speed advantage, he was essentially untouchable.

"Boss!"

"Who?"

Allen looked past the Slaughterer and shouted excitedly. The Slaughterer instinctively glanced back.

RUMBLE…

No one was there. A bolt of lightning struck precisely around the Slaughterer.

Blinding light lit up the battlefield like midday.

"Aw yeah, got him!"

Allen flashed a celebratory gesture, thrilled by the successful sneak attack.

But as the light faded, his smile froze.

The Slaughterer stood there completely unscathed, only a bit singed. Not a single scratch.

Allen eyed the Thunder God's Hammer suspiciously—was this some kind of knockoff?

WHAM!

Once again, Allen was sent flying like a broken kite.

The hammer had granted him the power of lightning, but sadly, his physical body couldn't compare to that of an Asgardian god.

Even with a physique sixty times stronger than a normal human, he was nowhere near Thor's level.

Meanwhile, the Slaughterer was astonished by Allen's defense. His claws—proudly known for being able to rend space—couldn't pierce Allen's armor.

Still, the repeated attacks caused internal shock damage, which was clearly agonizing.

"Ow, damn that hurts…"

"This is worse than a breakup…"

"Ouch, ouch… it's like finding out your wife's cheating."

"Ouch, ouch, ouch… no, worse—it's like she cheated and the kid's not even yours."

"..."

Even while getting beaten, Allen couldn't stop describing how painful it was.

Annoyed, the Slaughterer struck even harder.

WHAM…

Allen was smashed into a heap of wreckage, motionless.

"Finally settled down."

The Slaughterer blinked into the ruins, preparing to retrieve Allen and return to the command ship for the Annihilator.

"Yoo-hoo… over here."

The Slaughterer spun around.

Allen was somehow standing somewhere else entirely.

But the Slaughterer had clearly seen him crash into that wreckage just now.

Of course, Allen had secretly slipped away to create a dramatic surprise.

"Notice anything different about me?" Allen flipped his blood-red hair and fluttered his eyebrows.

"You went from black hair to red. Is that supposed to mean something?" the Slaughterer asked casually.

"Enough pretending—I'm coming clean."

With over-the-top flair, Allen declared, "I'm a Super Saiyan. This is my fourth transformation. Now tell me—are you scared?"

"..."

Not in the slightest.

The Slaughterer didn't sense any meaningful change—other than Allen seeming even more unstable.

"Judging by your silence, you are scared."

WHAM!

Before Allen could gloat, he was sent flying once more.
