Bang, bang, bang!
Gunshots rang out continuously on the street. The motorcyclists, while pursuing Hope, kept pulling the trigger, firing at Hope's car.
The shots made Hope's car clang incessantly.
"You drive!"
Hope wasn't going to sit back and wait to die. She called out to Luis and immediately got up, moving to the back of the car.
Opening the car door, she fired a Shrink Bullet at one of the motorcyclists.
The Shrink Bullet hit the motorcyclist's motorcycle, and the motorcycle instantly transformed into a miniature toy.
The motorcyclist fell heavily to the ground.
Bang bang!
A toy motorcycle also flew out.
Hope even threw a candy box, followed by a shot from an Enlargement Bullet.
The original candy box instantly transformed into a giant, lumbering across the street, and once again overturned several motorcycles.
In the hands of a power user like Hope, Sonny Burch's men were simply no match.
"With Hope's abilities, she can handle Sonny Burch with ease," Captain America couldn't help but say. "It seems Ghost has also joined the fight."
Seeing Hope handle Sonny Burch so effortlessly, everyone agreed with Captain America.
Hope, with her mastery of the size-altering ability, could easily take care of all of Sonny Burch's subordinates.
Even from start to finish, the other Ant-Man, Scott Lang, hadn't even made a move!
If things kept going as they were, they didn't think Sonny Burch could grab the Laboratory, unless a third party got involved: Ghost (Ava).
This was the only chance they could think of for Sonny Burch to get the Laboratory.
The old saying, "When the snipe and the clam fight, it's the fisherman who benefits," still held true.
In fact, their guess was spot on.
While Sonny Burch and Hope were engaged in a chase, Ghost did indeed make her move!
She snatched a motorcycle from Sonny Burch's men, caught up to Hope's car, and used her "phasing" ability to slip right inside.
A flying kick, clean and decisive, sent Hope flying out of the car.
Luckily, Hope had shrunk herself in time, and used her suit's wings to take flight immediately, avoiding being crushed by the car behind.
It had to be said that Ghost (Ava)'s strength was truly formidable. Hope, whom Sonny Burch and his men couldn't handle, was taken down by her in one move.
After Hope was taken care of, Luis and Scott Lang were even less of a match for Ghost, and the Laboratory was easily stolen by her.
The next part was obvious. Hope and Ghost, both enhanced individuals, began a fierce and exciting battle to control the Laboratory.
But the result of their fight was as everyone predicted: Sonny Burch swooped in and stole the Laboratory.
"Burch stole the Laboratory!"
Hope shouted furiously at Scott Lang over the comms channel.
Hope, Scott Lang, and Ghost started to pursue Sonny Burch, and things quickly turned into a complete mess.
What made everyone feel utterly speechless was that, during this process, Scott Lang's Ant-Man suit malfunctioned, and the controls went haywire.
Sometimes it would autonomously enlarge, sometimes it would shrink on its own, leaving Scott Lang quite helpless.
"That Hank guy, he's really unreliable!"
Scott Lang's face couldn't help but darken in front of the screen.
You wouldn't believe the Ant-Man suit had such a basic problem? Isn't this just setting people up? Luckily, this didn't happen when he helped Captain America fight the Avengers at the German airport, otherwise Scott Lang would have been too embarrassed to show his face.
"Scott, it seems you need to properly check if there's any problem with your current suit when you get back," Tony Stark said to Scott Lang with a hint of playfulness.
"No need, I still trust Hank," Scott Lang said, his face unconcerned.

He rode an ant and chased after the cruise ship.
However, Scott Lang's luck wasn't great. A seagull flew over halfway and ate the ant Scott Lang was riding.
If Scott Lang hadn't jumped quickly, he might have become bird food too.
"Wow!"
Peter Parker couldn't help but laugh. "That was really thrilling just now. This tells us never to transform where there are birds, or you might lose your life."

It was easy to imagine that Scott Lang's seizure of the Laboratory from Sonny Burch didn't mean the end of things.
Ghost, Ava, was still waiting!
Scott Lang and Hope still had to continue their fight for the Laboratory against Ghost, Ava, but at least they wouldn't have Sonny Burch getting in the way this time.
"That's right, Ghost, that's definitely a problem," Tony Stark chimed in, a hint of mockery in his voice. "According to the intelligence we have, Scott Lang and Hope have always lost their battles against Ghost, right?"
Except for one time.
That old fox, Hank Pym, pretended to be sick and tricked another nerd into releasing his ant assistant.
That's the only time they won a round.
The other times, Hope and Scott Lang were defeated by Ghost.
Considering this living example, the audience in front of the screen didn't really have high hopes for what would happen next.
The possibility of Ghost Ava taking back the Laboratory again was completely there, and even quite likely!
Even Scott Lang couldn't refute this point.
"Scott," Captain America turned his head at this moment and said to Scott Lang seriously, "When you go back, be sure to warn Hank. Don't let the Laboratory's business slip out, or there will be endless trouble."

"Alright, let's take a closer look at the options and figure out who the killer might be," Captain America said, drawing everyone back to the main point.
Everyone stopped chatting and focused on the choices displayed on the big screen.
"Doctor Octopus? What a strange alias. Is he an octopus-man? Does anyone know this doctor?" Thor couldn't help but shudder at the thought.
