Moving back to the time after Viola and Ezekiel's whole confession, the two quietly walked home hand in hand.
The cool night breeze brushed gently against them as silence settled comfortably between the pair.
Neither of them spoke much, they did not need to because the warmth of each other's hand somehow said enough.
After a moment, Viola suddenly stopped walking.
Ezekiel blinked in confusion.
"Viola?"
Without saying anything, Viola quietly removed her glasses and carefully placed them on Ezekiel's face.
"It may not help much," she softly said, avoiding eye contact, "but please wear this."
Viola loved seeing those deep amethyst eyes of his, but more than that, she wanted him safe, even if her glasses barely helped.
Ezekiel lightly touched the frame, still surprised, then a small smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you," he quietly said.
Viola's ears turned slightly red.
Then the two resumed walking with their hands still tied to each other.
