"Ning Chu~"
Early the next morning, just as she stepped out the door, Ning Chu spotted Nana waving at her from not far away.
That vampire girl lived in the same village as Ning Chu, and if the timing lined up, she'd usually wait for Ning Chu so they could head to school together.
Their relationship was pretty good—though it hadn't quite reached the "besties" stage yet.
"Morning."
Ning Chu tried her best to walk normally, but the slight friction between her pants and inner thighs still made her movements look just a bit off, thanks to a lingering soreness.
Nana noticed right away and shot a quick glance at Wen Yang, who was walking beside her.
It didn't take a genius to guess what had happened.
From the look of realization that flashed across Nana's face, Ning Chu knew—this girl definitely got the wrong idea.
"Let's go."
Without offering any explanation, Ning Chu simply played dumb and met up with Nana. The three of them walked together to the bus stop at the edge of the village.
To her relief, Nana didn't tease her about it. Though, her eyes kept sneaking glances at the couple like she was watching a live soap opera.
Vampires were relatively easy to deal with—especially since she and Nana were just casual friends, which means they are not close enough to dive into inappropriate topics.
But the wolf girl and the succubus? Now that would be a problem!
Ning Chu could already imagine the chaos if her two besties caught wind of this, it would lead to nonstop teasing and lewd jokes.
Once they got on the bus, she shot Wen Yang a pointed glare.
"She could tell…"
Leaning in close, she whispered near his ear in frustration, "My mom's coming this afternoon. She's definitely going to notice too!"
"Couldn't you have waited a couple more days before trying something new?"
Wen Yang looked at her, totally innocent. "I didn't know you'd be sore after. It seemed like there was enough... lubrication…"
Succubi were made of water, after all—and Ning Chu was unusually well-lubricated.
Hearing that, Ning Chu grew even more annoyed. "It was too long, idiot!"
Wen Yang quickly tried to soothe her. "It's okay, you're a succubus."
"..."
She kicked him under the seat in embarrassment.
Sure, succubi were naturally seductive and hypersexual. For a grown succubus to still be a virgin was practically unheard of—people might even think something was wrong with her.
Mentally, she was shifting toward a more feminine mindset. But becoming a full-on succubus? Not yet!
Still, lately things between her and Wen Yang have been getting… bolder. That light teasing they did last night—it had almost made her lose control.
Thankfully, one glance at that thing of his had been enough to snap her out of it.
She had a terrible feeling that if things kept going like this, she'd soon become a full-blown succubus in every sense.
"I'll grab some ointment from the nurse's office later—wanna try it?"
"…Sure, I guess."
All she could do was hope the pain would fade by noon so she could walk like a normal person again.
Sitting a little ways off, Nana couldn't hear what they were whispering about. When she saw Ning Chu finally sit up straight, she spoke up:
"Ning Chu, did you eat breakfast?"
"Not yet."
"I've got some~"
Nana pulled a neatly wrapped sushi roll from her shoulder bag. "I made sushi this morning. There's milk too~"
At the mention of milk, Ning Chu's expression turned a little weird.
She used to scoff at the cat girl in the doujin who was obsessed with 'milk'—and now she finds herself drinking it every few days...
It was supposed to be a one-time thing.
Brushing that thought aside, she smiled and nodded. "Thanks~"
"I made too much. If you don't eat it, I'll have to hand it off to someone else anyway."
"I thought girls these days didn't cook…" She took the sushi and muttered, "But all the girls around me seem to know how."
"What about Xinya?"
"Oh, her... She probably only knows how to make instant noodles."
Just saying that gave Ning Chu a bit of confidence in her own cooking skills.
She could at least make egg-fried rice. It might not be gourmet, but at least it was edible.
As for Xinya's cooking… she'd tried it before: strawberry-topped noodles, spicy scrambled eggs with tomatoes, banana mash on rice…
If that girl wanted to learn how to cook, Ning Chu had one piece of advice: start with the basics—like understanding how flavors actually work together.
There were all kinds of weird and wild thoughts flying around in her head. Even if it was obviously just a prank, it still killed her appetite.
After arriving at school by bus and parting ways with Nana, Ning Chu headed to the classroom alone.
"Where's Wen Yang?"
Yan Xinya was startled to see her come in by herself.
"He went to the nurse's office."
Ning Chu tried her best to keep her legs together and walk normally as she approached Yan Xinya, but the soreness between her thighs still made her movements slightly awkward.
"So strong!"
Yan Xinya's eyes instantly went off-track the moment she noticed Ning Chu's unnatural gait. Her wolf ears perked up. "From the way you move, you're just feeling a little sore, yet he's already in the infirmary?!"
Lily chimed in, face full of admiration, "That's amazing~"
Ning Chu rolled her eyes and flicked each of them on the forehead. She sat down, clearly annoyed. "It's the nurse's office! He's fine!"
"That's still impressive~ Wen Yang's got such a solid build, and you managed to wear him out!"
"..."
Her face turned beet red. She fumbled for words, unsure how to even begin to explain.
Was she supposed to tell the truth—that Wen Yang was just doing her ass? There was no way she could say something that embarrassing!
But if she didn't explain, they'd just assume she was an easy lay.
Nana was better in that regard. At least that curious vampire hadn't been so blunt.
"Don't talk nonsense," Ning Chu snapped at Yan Xinya, then flopped down onto her desk and covered her ears. "Leave me alone!"
"Wow, someone's cranky today," Yan Xinya whispered to Lily. "Do you think she's mad because Wen Yang looked strong but couldn't perform?"
Lily nodded thoughtfully, pretending to analyze it.
Couldn't perform?
Yeah right! In the original doujin, Wen Yang's "power level" was enough to subdue half the female side characters without breaking a sweat. And this was real life, not fiction.
You try it if you think you're so tough… never mind.
Ning Chu rolled her eyes silently and gave up trying to argue.
Even if she managed to explain, Yan Xinya and Lily would never pass up an opportunity to tease her.
"Instead of obsessing over me and Wen Yang, how about worrying about your own single status?"
"My Lily is cute, sweet, pretty and a little seductive. She'll have suitors lined up~ Right, Lily?"
Lily averted her gaze and ignored her completely.
"Morning."
Wang Jie entered the classroom alone. He greeted Ning Chu and sat in the corner of the same row, leaving a four-chair gap between himself and a group of girls.
"Where's Shaoqing?"
"He couldn't get out of bed."
"Tsk~ It's almost finals! Everyone else is cramming, and he's just straight-up giving up."
Ning Chu let out a sigh of relief. If Zhang Shaoqing failed alongside her, that'd actually be kind of comforting.
Wang Jie used to be slightly chubby, but after just over a month of being drained dry, he'd slimmed down drastically. Now he looked like a terminally ill patient who spent every day binge-drinking.
She seriously suspected that his girlfriend might be a succubus too.
Wang Jie had even started working out—he joined a fitness club—but the results didn't seem all that impressive yet.
After eyeing him for a few moments, Ning Chu looked around again, hoping to find someone who could keep her company in failing the final. She turned to Yan Xinya.
"Yan Xinya~ Do you think you'll fail the class?"
"Huh? No way, not with Lily tutoring me~"
"I don't believe it. You have to fail!"
Yan Xinya barely paid attention in class. Ning Chu refused to believe she'd end up doing worse than a husky.
