"Alright, I'll have Kieran look into it," Josephine replied without hesitation. "How's Sister Lauren doing? Is her business okay?"
"I called her this morning," Rachel said. "She mentioned that business is slowly picking up again, and no one has been causing any trouble lately."
"That's good to hear!" Josephine felt a wave of genuine relief.
After finishing dinner, Josephine drove Rachel back home before heading straight over to find Kieran.
"Is your stomach feeling any better?" Kieran asked the moment he saw her, setting down the documents he was reviewing and walking over.
"It's better today, not as painful as yesterday," she replied.
He frowned slightly. So that meant she was still in pain today? "How long is this going to last?" he asked, his voice full of concern.
In the past, he never really thought about whether women experienced pain during their periods, but now, because of her, he found himself constantly worrying about it.
