(Ember POV)
I felt myself drifting downward in a vast ocean. My lungs were filled, I couldn't breathe, nor could I hear or see.
My six senses were gone as if I had become nothing but my own thoughts. It was suffocating, and it was more unbearable not being able to pull myself out of the water.
Slowly, I began to accept my fate… believing this was the end of me.
A voice whispered softly close to my ears, 'a voice' my closed eyes twitched slightly.
"Wake up."
The moment I heard the words my eyes snapped open, and the next second I was pulled out of the water.
I squinted my eyes at the sudden brightness. The sweet smell of flowers invaded my nostrils filling my lungs. The warmth of the sun felt so nice and real, the fresh breeze caressed my skin, soft and light like a feather.
I inhaled deeply, it felt like forever since I last felt this way.
"Ember…"
"Do you like what you see?…"
"I love you…"
"Our child…"
"I'll protect you.."
