Chapter 73 - Domain of destruction

"I've already forced myself to change my own belief, even if it's wrong. So now, it's your turn to prove me wrong and claim victory over me." Raizel spoke. While speaking, he drew a red magic circle in front of his sight and brought out a crimson dark sword from inside. He grabbed the sword and pointed it toward Arfanez's neck and shouted, "Come forward and show me what truly makes you capable of challenging the story itself."

"If the sun challenges me, then I will destroy the sun. If the mortals challenge me, then I will destroy the mortals. If the deities challenge me, then I will destroy the deities. And if it's you, I will still destroy you." Arfanez replied, fearless as usual.

"So you know my answer." He added. Arfanez drew a golden magic circle while the circle entirely covered the ground. The flashing presence of the magic circle continuously began to scatter throughout the entire realm and successfully covered the entire realm under the presence of the magic circle in the blink of an eye.

"Where countless aspects gather in a land to create a world, the very concept of destruction leads all of them toward the conclusion. I'm Arfanez, the monarch of chaos, shall lead the world toward the conclusion. Hereby I order you, world, be one with me toward the new story, 'The land of chaos'."

With his command, the magic circle immediately began to activate as the entire realm was shaking at its finest. Everyone existing in the land began to panic while sweating alongside. What they were wondering wasn't about the reason behind that, but the way of survival from it.

As the land was shaking continuously, countless little pieces of gold began to erupt from the huge magic circle and scattered throughout the entire realm in an instant. Over the course of several seconds, the entire land changed its shape, turning into a land of flashing flames, a true sight of flaming chaos.

It's a magic spell that only exists for the 4th layer beings. While being a 5th layer being, Arfanez managed to utilize the spell for himself. It's a domain spell that creates a domain within a fixed area for the user. Inside the domain, the user can do anything by manipulating the domain itself in different ways, which provides them with an incredible advantage over their opponent during battles and ultimately leads them toward victory.

Arfanez believes in chaos; his heart and soul belong to the very meaning of chaos. What he wants is chaos and a chaotic way of redemption. His soul is burning in flames, trying to burn down everything with his flames. Which leads him toward a magic type where his spells are mostly fire-based. And so, his domain is about flashing flames that reflect the very definition of chaos and destruction.

"The domain? How?" Raizel spoke, confused a little.

"Yes. It's nothing that I consider an achievement, but something that will surely help me in my way." Arfanez replied.

Then his right hand raised upward a little as he pointed his index finger at Raizel's eyes. Then he spoke with a trembling voice that was resounding continuously all around the realm, "Die."

An unbeatable force erupted throughout the entire realm. If I call it intense, then it's going to be underestimating at its finest. It wasn't just intense, but a whole different level of pressure that shouldn't exist within the 5th layer. Every single retainer there was forced to bow down like slaves. While trying their best to keep themselves strong, the pressure slowly drove them to be slammed into the ground.

As for the two of us, we were barely standing there under the pressure. Even if the pressure couldn't bother to bow us down, it was good enough to leave some effective mark of strength by making us feel the extremely strong presence.

Both Raizel and Aizis were fearless as usual; not even a single piece of sweat appeared on their faces. Even though Elesia was doing her best to keep up, it was really hard to truly keep up with the spirit belonging to the rest.

Someone snapped; the sound was rather effective. A tall figure with a snow-white sword and a smile on his face. Undoubtedly, it was Aizis all along. It was merely a finger snap, but something that immediately erased the magic pressure spell. His snap canceled out Arfanez's spell that was forcing everyone to feel the pressure of chaos.

"I apologize for that. But I feel like something should have been done by my hands as a side character of the story, where Raizel has to be the protagonist." Aizis spoke, smiling a bit after his sentence. He was gentle as usual, but something that could leave a trace of warning.

"Well said, but I refuse to believe this is going to change anything." Arfanez replied, adding his usual gentle smile to his lips.

"We shall figure it out from the battle." Raizel said a little loudly.

Right at the moment of finishing his sentence, Raizel flew toward Arfanez with his crimson dark sword standing strong in his right hand.

"Your reply to me was quite impressive, but your conclusion is going to be pathetic." Arfanez replied with a sarcastic smile lurking around the corner of his lips. A golden relic appeared in Arfanez's right hand.

He grabbed the relic tightly and ran ahead toward the incoming Raizel. With both of them pressing their own weapons toward each other with their best, a chaotic clash erupted in that very place in the land of the Absolute Spirit.
