Seeing this, Kaito transformed a Truth-Seeking Orb into a spear. With a thought, the black spear shot downward toward Reishiki.
But the black flames formed a massive hand that caught the spear mid-flight and crushed it to pieces.
Kaito frowned, then dove straight at him. Yet before he could close in, Reishiki let out a furious roar, unleashing a violent wave of power that froze Kaito in midair.
The black flames had receded into Reishiki's body. His eyes turned pitch black, and on his forehead opened a twelve-tomoe Rinnegan identical to the Ten Tails'.
His expression twisted into madness as he glared at Kaito and shouted,
"This world has no reason to exist! All shall become my nourishment! Including you—Uchiha Kaito!"
From the twelve-tomoe Rinnegan on his forehead, a blinding crimson light erupted, piercing the heavens.
The dark clouds above were blown away, revealing a blood-red sun with the same twelve-tomoe Rinnegan pattern etched upon it.
