"Ah, what a pity."
Vados shook her head, the light at the tip of her staff flickering on and off — just like her inscrutable thoughts.
With a snap of her fingers, Champa's body slowly floated up behind her. After a brief examination of his injuries, she said softly,
"Hmm, looks like he just fainted. Let him sleep for a while."
Whis twitched his mouth as he looked at the large bump on Champa's head.
Still, the life force of a God of Destruction wasn't that fragile — and besides, Champa wasn't his responsibility. So Whis didn't say anything more.
Vados turned toward Kaito again, smiling faintly.
"We'll meet again. I'll remember you, Uchiha Kaito."
With that, she and Champa vanished into the vastness of space as beams of light.
Vados came as swiftly as she left. Whis stood there, one arm holding Beerus, his expression a bit dazed.
Kaito didn't linger either. He first returned to his normal state, waved toward Whis, said goodbye, and disappeared from the spot.
Beerus, looking listless, weakly lifted his head and muttered,
"Whis… he's really strong. I think Vados genuinely wants him to become the next God of Destruction…"
Whis didn't reply. His eyes lingered where Kaito had vanished, and he said quietly,
"I don't know what she's thinking either… but I have a feeling something's about to happen."

In Universe 6
Vados brought Champa back to the temple. After settling him down, she stepped outside alone, lost in thought.
Suddenly, the space above the temple twisted, and a figure with twin ponytails appeared in the air.
She bore all the traits of an angel — she was none other than the Angel of Universe 11, Marcarita.
By ranking, Marcarita should technically be the younger sister of Vados and Whis. But she didn't act like one. The moment she saw Vados, her tone was already dripping with mockery.
"Vados, what are you doing out here all by yourself? Where's your God of Destruction?"
Vados's face remained calm as she replied lightly,
"He's asleep. What about you? What brings you to Universe 6 today?"
Marcarita clearly didn't believe her. She stepped closer, glancing sideways at Vados.
"Asleep? Really? Funny, his energy feels rather faint to me."
Vados clearly didn't want to entertain her. She turned to leave, but Marcarita suddenly spoke again.
"Father said that the Grand Zeno has recently mentioned that there are too many universes again. I think some of the weaker ones might get erased soon."
Vados paused for a moment, then said slowly,
"The will of the Grand Zeno isn't something we can oppose. When that day comes, we'll face it then."
Marcarita shrugged, her expression indifferent.
"True, but even if that happens, it won't be Universe 11 that gets erased. After all, our universe's strength speaks for itself!"
Her smugness was practically written across her face. But to her disappointment, Vados's expression remained perfectly calm — serene as still water, completely unaffected by her words.
Vados smiled faintly.
"I think you should pay a visit to Universe 7 sometime. The universe is vast — full of unexpected surprises, wouldn't you agree?"
"Universe 7? The one where Whis lives?"
"That's right. I just came back from there — and I must say, it was quite an eye-opener."
"Oh? Did Beerus break through again?"
"Hehe, no — it wasn't about him. You'll have to see for yourself."
Without another glance, Vados turned and left, leaving Marcarita standing there, puzzled.
"Tch. Mysterious as ever. As if there could be a mortal stronger than Jiren," Marcarita muttered under her breath.
Failing to get a rise out of Vados, she left feeling somewhat deflated.
Still, Universe 7 had now caught her attention — and she quietly resolved to visit someday.
...
Vados returned to the temple to find Champa still sound asleep, even snoring, a bubble of snot inflating from his nose.
She sighed helplessly. This eternal angelic duty was growing tiresome. Anyone would go insane after guarding the same lazy cat for so many years.
Watching him sleep so deeply, a thought suddenly popped into her mind.
"Maybe I should sneak off to Universe 7 for a bit? It's not like there's anything to do here anyway."
Once that idea surfaced, it became impossible to suppress. She regretted not asking Kaito which planet he lived on.
Still, that wasn't hard to find out — she could just ask Whis again later.
As she thought about it, her staff glowed green. The soft light flowed over Champa's body, and he rolled over, snoring even louder.
Vados chuckled softly.
"Sleep a little longer, will you? I'm going to take a well-deserved vacation."
With that, her body turned into a streak of light and shot out of the temple.

Earth
Kaito's battle with the two Gods of Destruction had lasted quite some time. Now it was dusk.
The moment he appeared on the lawn of Bulma's house, a crowd immediately surrounded him.
Looking confused, Kaito asked,
"Huh? You guys are still here?"
Bulma shook her head.
"Of course we waited. That God of Destruction looked terrifying — Goku said he was unbelievably strong."
Goku waved his hand excitedly.
"Kaito! How did it go? Did you win?"
Just as Kaito opened his mouth to answer, a soft body suddenly threw itself into his arms — it was Eighteen, who had been waiting anxiously.
Eighteen hugged him tightly.
"Kaito, you're finally back! You scared me half to death!"
Kaito gently patted her back and said softly,
"Sorry for worrying you. But look — not a scratch on me. I won."
"Mhm! My Kaito really is the strongest!"
"Brother-in-law rules! Who cares about some God of Destruction — you're the only true god, bro!"
Seventeen cheered from the side. Eighteen turned to glare at him, her death stare instantly silencing him.
Vegeta's expression was… complicated. He muttered to himself in disbelief,
"He actually defeated a God of Destruction… just how strong is he?"
There was still a smear of purple blood on his glove — Frieza's blood.
After Kaito and the others had left, Vegeta had immediately tried to finish off Frieza. The problem was, even while unconscious, Frieza's defense remained impenetrable.
In the end, Seventeen had to lend a hand, and Vegeta made sure to give a few extra punches to the wound — finally settling his grudge.
And so, the once-mighty Emperor of the Universe, Frieza, descended into hell while unconscious — where he was no doubt already being strung up and tormented by its demons.
