"Eh? Beerus!"
Champa had originally come looking for Beerus to settle the score — yet the moment he arrived, what greeted him was the sight of Beerus being tossed around by Kaito like a punching bag.
Although the two brothers never saw eye to eye, watching his own sibling getting beaten senseless still stirred something inside him.
Without a second thought, Champa jumped into the fight, firing off a blast of destructive energy.
Kaito paused mid-motion as the attack zipped right between him and Beerus.
"Hm? Another one?"
Kaito narrowed his eyes, turned toward Champa, and extended one hand as he spoke softly:
"Universal Pull."
Buzz!
Before Champa could even react, he was yanked forward by an invisible force — and then Kaito drove a heavy punch straight into his bulging belly.
"Urgh... blegh!"
Champa spat out a mouthful of saliva, just as Kaito sidestepped — sending all that spit splattering across Beerus instead.
Beerus froze, fury welling up like a storm. His aura flared, evaporating the mess instantly, and he roared,
"Champa! You idiot! That's disgusting!"
"What?! I came to help you, and you'd already be a punching bag if not for me! You ungrateful bastard!"
"This is my fight! Stop interfering!"
Kaito floated in the vacuum of space, hands on his hips, listening to the brothers' bickering echo through the void. Finally, with clear irritation, he spread his arms and said,
"Enough already. I'll take both of you on together. Come at me—Universal Pull!"
Buzz!
Beerus and Champa were yanked toward him from opposite directions. This time, however, they'd learned a bit — launching several energy blasts at Kaito mid-flight.
But Kaito didn't even move. A silvery barrier flared around him, enveloping his entire body. The explosions of the blasts didn't so much as scratch him.
That was Broly's innate ability — a defensive shield tough enough to withstand a planet's detonation.
As the two gods approached, Kaito grabbed each of their heads, one in each hand, and smashed them together.
The impact left both dazed — Beerus managed to stay barely conscious, but Champa's eyes were spinning like spirals, his mind completely blank.
Of course, since Champa was here, his angel attendant Vados had come as well.
She watched the scene unfold with visible amusement, her tone teasing as she commented,
"How fascinating. When did your universe produce such a powerful being? Is he a candidate for the next God of Destruction?"
Whis gave a helpless smile.
"I have no idea. He just appeared out of nowhere... and even claims he doesn't belong to any universe at all."
"Oh? But regardless, he showed up in your universe, didn't he? That makes this your responsibility."
"I know, I know... that's why I'm about to stop them."
"Why stop them? Why not let them settle who's stronger? I never imagined there'd be anyone outside our angel race capable of handling two Gods of Destruction at once."
Vados's gaze lingered on Kaito, eyes wide with curiosity and something unreadable behind her calm smile.
Still, with Vados present, Whis wasn't all that worried. After all, there had never been an incident two angels together couldn't control.
But when Kaito revealed his Super Saiyan God form, the outcome of the battle was already decided.
In no time at all, he had both Beerus and Champa dangling in midair by their ears — one in each hand.
Champa's eyes had rolled white, while Beerus was barely clinging to consciousness.
Kaito carried them over to Whis with an easy grin.
"These two look a bit tired. I'll leave them in your care."
Whis looked at the battered, half-conscious gods and could only sigh.
Today's events would no doubt shake all twelve universes — someone had just single-handedly defeated two Gods of Destruction, one of them being Beerus, the strongest of them all.
He had heard rumors that some universes might harbor beings stronger than the gods, but those were only whispers. Yet here Kaito stood — living proof before his eyes.
With a wave of Whis's hand, Beerus and Champa drifted free from Kaito's grasp, floating behind him. Beerus, still woozy but conscious enough, gave Kaito a shaky thumbs-up.
For once, he was genuinely impressed.
Kaito smiled back lightly and turned to leave. With the Earth's coordinates locked into his mind, returning home was just a thought away.
But before he could go, Vados's voice called out.
"Wait!"
Kaito stopped and looked back at the elegant, high-ponytailed angel.
"What is it?"
Vados clasped her hands behind her back, then extended one toward him with a gentle smile.
"Let's get acquainted. I'm Vados, Angel of Universe Six. Would you tell me your name?"
Kaito hesitated for a moment, then reached out to shake her hand.
"My name is Uchiha Kaito."
"Uchiha? What a strange surname — fitting for someone as unusual as you."
"Unusual? What do you mean by that?"
Vados chuckled softly.
"You just defeated two Gods of Destruction. Isn't that unusual enough?"
Kaito glanced toward Whis and the unconscious gods behind him.
"Maybe I hit a bit too hard. But really, there's nothing strange about it. Gods are just beings with more power — not invincible ones."
The amusement on Vados's face deepened. She floated closer, stopping just a breath away from him.
Kaito stood his ground, meeting her gaze head-on, curious to see what this angel intended.
After studying his golden eyes for a long moment, she finally said,
"Kaito, would you be interested in becoming the candidate for God of Destruction in my universe? I have a feeling being your attendant would be... quite entertaining."
Kaito didn't even hesitate.
"Sorry, but I refuse."
Her smile didn't fade; if anything, it grew more curious.
"Oh? May I ask why? There are many benefits to becoming a God of Destruction candidate."
Kaito simply shook his head.
"I'm just a traveler passing through this world. I have no interest in divine titles."
Of course, there were two other reasons he didn't mention — first, he had no intention of tying his life to some weak Kai.
And second, becoming a God of Destruction would mean binding himself to the laws of this universe... and even falling under the authority of that blue egg-shaped being known as the Omni-King.
Not that Kaito feared the so-called erasure — he wasn't born from any universe under the Omni-King's rule in the first place.
But becoming a god would link his existence to a single world.
And Kaito had no reason to burden himself with such vulnerabilities.
