As evening approached, the tired girls discussed dinner.
Arthas, having been teased all afternoon, sighed with relief, contemplating how to unleash his desire on Souna.
"Yuuto and brother should be back soon. Let's have a bonfire dinner at school tonight!" Rias said, smiling.
"Arthas, pick up brother and Yuuto at the school gate."
Rias said. Arthas nodded.
"Prepare. I'll get Yuuto and Sirzechs-sama."
"Okay." Rias said, returning to the girls.
At the gate, instead of those he expected, Arthas saw a silver-haired figure.
A handsome youth gazed at the school, exuding an alluring, dangerous aura.
Arthas recognized him: the White Dragon Emperor, Vali, who had effortlessly defeated Kokabiel.
Vali, noticing Arthas, turned, his clear blue eyes like a siren's call. He smiled like an angel.
"This is a nice school."
"What's a Fallen Angel doing here? The three-faction negotiations haven't started."
Arthas raised an eyebrow at Vali's odd greeting.
"Oh, you recognized me."
Vali scratched his head sheepishly, smiling shyly.
"For a formal introduction, I'm Vali, the White Dragon Emperor… the Vanishing Dragon."
Arthas wasn't interested in formalities. He attacked as Vali introduced himself.
"Oops, I seem unwelcome."
Vali said, surprised by the icy blade at his throat.
Despite the threat, Vali wasn't worried. He felt no killing intent from Arthas.
"Too bad… I wanted a good fight, but the three-faction negotiations are approaching. It wouldn't do for the Fallen Angels and devils to fight."
"True."
Arthas shrugged, sheathing his sword. He didn't want to fight here.
He also knew he couldn't win.
"Arthas, where do you rank yourself in the world?"
Vali asked suddenly.
"Is that relevant?"
Arthas raised an eyebrow, puzzled by Vali's question.
"I saw your amazing fight that night. I don't know your artifact, but I'd say you're among the top hundred in the world."
Arthas was confused. What was he trying to say?
"There are many strong people. Even Sirzechs Lucifer, the Crimson Satan, isn't in the top ten."
Sirzechs wasn't in the top ten? Arthas was surprised. He thought Sirzechs was the strongest he'd met.
"But the first place is decided, unshakeable."
Vali said sadly. Arthas couldn't describe Vali's expression, but he knew the strongest wasn't him.
It was the look of someone seeing an insurmountable obstacle.
The strongest in the world… was it really that strong?
"Well, that's all for today. See you next time, strongest soldier."
Vali bowed gracefully and left.
"Strongest soldier?" Arthas chuckled, rubbing his nose.
.....
Days passed. Finally, Parents' Visitation Day arrived.
It was a "public lesson." Parents and relatives could attend. Even middle school students could observe. It was very open.
Not only family, but also middle school students, added unexpected pressure to the high schoolers. No one wanted to embarrass themselves in front of their juniors.
"I'm not excited."
Rias sighed, annoyed by her brother and father coming to school. Two red-haired men would attract attention.
"Asia's been excited all morning."
Arthas chuckled.
"It's her first time at such a lively event. She's been lonely."
"Yes… living in that hypocritical place for so long, then being accused of witchcraft."
Arthas smiled at the thought of Asia.
The morning's lessons were bizarre. English class was pottery, math was architectural design.
Asia was surprisingly happy, her cheeks flushed. She was happy because Arthas, as a Student Council member, stayed by her side. She was easily pleased.
