They took turns driving, heading straight east without stopping until the sky began to pale. By the time the sun stretched itself above the rooftops, they finally arrived at the Winterfell branch of the CBAA.
Sylvan had already sent over all relevant information and plans during the drive. When they arrived, nearly everything was in place. Only Serein had to go through a few additional procedures, formally confirming that she was listed as a support member for this operation to make later reporting easier.
Sylvan waited in the lobby, reviewing the deployment of the support teams positioned around Archangel, checking for any blind spots. Clara approached with two cups of coffee, setting one down in front of him.
"Thanks." Sylvan nodded and took a long drink, forcing some clarity back into his head. They had been on the road all night. None of them had slept more than a handful of minutes.
