League Two Matchday: Notts County vs. Crawley Town
The Crawley Town team bus left early on Saturday morning and headed north towards Meadow Lane. The journey was around 130 miles, and the weather was cold and misty.
It had been five days since the 3-1 win over Cheltenham. The result had moved Crawley up to fifth in League Two, but everyone knew this game would be much harder.
Most of the players were quiet on the bus. Max looked out of the window, while Thiago listened to music through his earbuds.
Korey looked over at him.
"Thiago, save the dancing for the defenders."
Thiago laughed.
"I dance, they fall!"
A few players laughed.
Kieron was quieter than usual. With Nate still injured, he knew he had an important job to do. He held his water bottle and looked out of the window.
Baxter was reading through the match programme.
"Their keeper's a brick wall."
Luka looked over.
"Every wall has a crack."
