"He will have you killed once we told him that."Dylan had told Avira but he had also reminded me of Thorne who at this point was our only way. But the last time I checked, he was still unconscious, and that was some few days ago.
"Excuse me," I said, and stormed out of the room, and headed for Gamma's quarters where Thorne was secretly receiving treatment. I met him in front of his house, about to go out.
"Alpha Declan," he called when he saw me. His expression was unusually cheerful, I noted but didn't dare hope for anything so as not to be disappointed.
"Are you going out?" I asked instead, I was suddenly not sure how to ask after Thorne.
"I was, but since you're already here, there's no need anymore." Gamma replied, and even though I didn't understand what he meant, I didn't say anything.
