How could Avira believe a word that Alpha Vincent said? How could she fall for his lies? How could she not see through his deception and lies?
I stood and watched as Avira asked Alpha Vincent questions. Questions I knew he wouldn't give honest answers to. I listened with an annoyed expression as he dished out lies, and more lies to her. I fumed in anger when she nodded, believing his lies.
"I'm sorry, I wish I could help you better." Alpha Vincent said after responding to every question Avira asked, but spilling no truth.
"Son of a bitch!" Dylan muttered from beside me, and I turned towards him. He too understood just what was going on, but like me, he was in no position to say anything.
In that moment, I wished that TwinMoon pack was like other packs where the Luna is subservient to the Alpha. But here she was just as powerful, and in some cases, even more powerful.
