As the gate was burst open by Hulk's massive fist, the heavy metal doors flew inward with a deafening crash.
Hulk jumped high into the air. He pulled both fists back over his head. He aimed straight for the old man in the wheelchair. The intent was clear. He would smash the telepath who had dared to enter Bruce Banner's mind.
While Hulk did not like Bruce since he did not let him out and play, Banner was still his dad.
The man with muttonchops and a cigar jumped up to meet Hulk in mid-air.
Metal claws slid out from between his knuckles with a sharp snikt sound. He snarled as he flew toward the green giant. "Come on, big guy. Let's see what you got!"
Hulk's fist met the man's face before his claws could reach hulk. The impact echoed like a bomb. The clawed man was slammed downward. He crashed into the ground hard enough to create a crater.
"Logan!" some of the X-Men shouted in panic.
Hulk hung in the air for a second. Confusion crossed his face. His huge arms and legs flailed. He tried to move. He could not.
Something invisible held him in place. He looked down. A red-haired young woman stood on the lawn. Her hands were outstretched. Her eyes glowed red. Sweat dripped down her face. She gritted her teeth. She struggled to keep the massive Hulk suspended.
Kakashi watched the scene carefully. He marked the red-haired girl as the most dangerous opponent on the field. 'She must be someone with telekinesis power. And much stronger than Madame Gao. To prevent Hulk from moving with how strong he is, it would take immense power. Unbelievable.'
Then he watched the boy with glasses open them wide. A bright red beam of pure energy blasted from his eyes. The optic blast streaked straight toward the helpless Hulk.
Cap jumped up using chakra-enhanced strength. His legs pushed off the ground so hard that he left a small crater behind. He raised his shield at the perfect angle. The red beam hit the shield.
The energy scattered in bright sparks. Cap landed on his feet. He kept the shield up.
Tony's briefcase opened. His new suit assembled around him in seconds. Red and gold plates snapped into place. The faceplate closed.
He took off into the air. He fired optic blasts at the blue-furred creature who ran on all fours like a real beast. The creature dodged with surprising speed. Tony also engaged the man with wings who flew above them. Repulsor blasts lit up the sky.
Natasha tried to hit another blue-colored boy with a tail. The boy teleported away in a puff of smoke. He reappeared behind her. She spun and threw a chakra-enhanced punch. The boy teleported again.
Kakashi took all of this in as he observed the battle. He looked straight at the guy in the wheelchair who was responsible for this chaos.
'I can't fault him much considering he is protecting the children under his care. But intruding on someone else's mind does invite violence in retaliation,' Kakashi thought.
Kakashi looked at the sky as Lightning crackled in the sky above. And he certainly was not the reason for this neither was Thor who was here.
A bright bolt struck down towards him.
Kakashi's hands erupted in lightning. He used Chidori. He swung upward. The falling lightning bolt met his Chidori. The two forces clashed. The bolt split apart and faded into harmless sparks.
He looked at the woman responsible. She floated in the air. Her eyes glowed blue. Silver hair whipped around her face. Storm clouds gathered above her. Lightning danced between her fingers.
Tony whistled through his helmet speakers. "I am pretty sure that she is Thor's counterpart of this Universe. She has similar powers and she is a goddess. A literal goddess, I tell you."
The woman in the air looked down at Tony. Then at Kakashi. "Is he trying to flirt with me?"
Kakashi battered the lightning raining on him with his Chidori. He moved like it was child's play. "I think so. They call him a playboy back at home."
Natasha's voice came through the comms. She tried to punch the boy with the tail. Her chakra-enhanced fist missed as he teleported behind her again.
She backflipped to create distance. "I expect Pepper would have some choice words for you, Tony."
Tony laughed while firing repulsors. "Hey, you can't blame me. Just look at her. She is a goddess incarnate. Come on, Cap, Kakashi, you should feel something like fellow men."
No reply came from them. But a reply did come from Hulk. "HULK SMASH!!"
Tony chuckled. "Well, Hulk seems to agree at least."
Hulk broke through the telekinetic hold. He roared as he fell. He landed on the ground with a thud that shook the earth. Cracks spread outward from his feet. He was met by the man called Logan who charged with a snarl.
Logan tried to slash Hulk's chest. Hulk caught the metal claws in one massive hand.
Hulk held him tight. "Puny human smash."
He lifted Logan off the ground with the caught hand. Then he slammed the man into the earth repeatedly.
Each slam created a new crater. Logan grunted with every hit. His claws scraped against Hulk's skin but could not cut deep.
Cap used his shield to deflect another optic red laser. He reached the boy with glasses and smashed him to the ground with a shield bash. The boy groaned.
The red-haired girl raised her hands. She sent Cap flying backward with a telekinetic push. He crashed into a tree. The trunk cracked.
Natasha's voice echoed through the comms. "Well, Leader of the Avengers… Is it not time for you to get serious? We are outnumbered and while we are winning it would not take long for us to be overwhelmed."
Kakashi considered her words. He watched the battle for another second. Cap and Natasha were holding their own with chakra-enhanced moves. Tony flew above and was also doing good. Hulk roared and smashed.
Natasha was wrong. They would mostly win the fight even if Kakashi did not take a more active role in the fight.
But the people they were fighting were protecting their school. And for that, they might take drastic measures which Kakashi did not want.
They were not here to take lives just to get answers. Besides, these people were good people judging from them trying to protect the identity of a mutant with reality warping powers which could be used for nefarious purposes.
Kakashi spoke into the comms. "Very well. I just wanted to see yours and Cap's progress with chakra in a real battle. But very well. Avengers stand back. I will handle this."
He took a single step forward as he battered another lightning bolt from the woman in the sky. His eyes changed. The Sharingan spun open.
