Kakashi said, "You all back off. I will handle this."
The Avengers obeyed without hesitation. Tony flew upward and hovered a safe distance away. Natasha stepped back quickly, lowering her batons.
Cap lowered his shield and retreated several steps. Hulk paused mid-swing as he still held the man with the claws.
Kakashi gave hulk a look.
The green giant looked at Kakashi with a confused expression. He remembered the previous beatings at Kakashi's hands. Those fights had not been pleasant.
"Hulk obey masked man or he beat me again. Hulk sad," Hulk said sadly.
He dropped the clawed man he had been holding. The man hit the ground hard and groaned.
Kakashi thought to himself, 'Why does he make me sound like a bad man?' He almost sighed.
He had never wanted to be the scary figure. He just wanted to protect people. Yet here he was, the one who made Hulk feel like a scolded child. It was strangely funny in the middle of a fight.
The blue-furred beast stood up slowly. He shook dirt from his fur. He growled low in his throat. "Do you think that you can really fight us one against all? You would be completely outnumbered."
Kakashi tilted his head slightly. His voice stayed lazy and calm. "Who said I am the one who is being outnumbered?"
He formed a quick series of hand signs. Twelve perfect earth clones rose from the dirt in a circle around him.
The X-Men had their eyes widened at this. They stared in stunned silence.
The blue-furred beast blinked. "He used lightning powers before. And now he can create clones of himself. What is his power anyway?"
Hank muttered under his breath. He adjusted his glasses. He tried to analyze what he had just seen.
Tony heard the question through his helmet speakers. He answered with a dry laugh. "Trust me you will not be able to find it out. I have been trying to find out about it myself. I ran every scan I could think of. Whatever he does, nothing makes senss. The guy is a walking question mark."
Kakashi ignored Tony and looked at the group of X-Men. He spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear.
"Would you consider hearing our request one more time? I would rather not fight you all. I can see that you are worried about the children inside your school. We have no intention of harming them."
"We are not here to hurt kids or attack your home. We are people trying to stop something much bigger than any of us."
He paused to let the words sink in.
"We only want to know if you know a mutant with reality-warping powers. That is all. We are not here to take anyone by force. And we are not here to kidnap or experiment. Just give us the information we need. Do not make this hard on us or yourselves. We do not want to hurt you. We do not want to destroy your school. But if you force our hand, we will defend ourselves. Let us talk and explain. We can solve this without more fighting."
Charles Xavier rolled his wheelchair forward a few inches. He looked at Kakashi with steady eyes. "Are you all mutants too? Your abilities suggest so but I can tell that you are not one too."
Kakashi did not bother answering it. He looked at the old man pointedly. He wanted the answer to his original question.
Charles released a sigh. "I might know someone. But you see she is a daughter of an old friend of mine and despite our differences, I will not be selling her out. So first tell me what you want from her only then will we be able to help you."
Kakashi thought, 'So we are at the right place. And it's a girl with reality warping powers…'
Kakashi's thought process was interrupted as he groaned. He put his hand to his head. Pain flared behind his eyes.
He looked straight into Charles' eyes. "I had already warned you to not intrude on my mind. But you still did. Now face the consequences for your actions."
He spoke one word as he looked straight into the old man's eyes without any sympathy.
"Tsukuyomi."
The pain that Kakashi felt disappeared.
Kakashi thought, 'Unbelievable. He broke through my mental barriers faster than even Enchantress powered by the Mind Stone. He is a very strong telepath. But I do not think he would be intruding on others' minds after I am done with him.'
Charles started screaming. "Stop! Stop it please!"
His eyes started bleeding. He clutched the arms of his wheelchair as his body shook.
The X-Men gathered around him in worry. "Professor!"
"Stop whatever you are doing to him," the blue-furred beast said.
Then a wave of ice blasted toward Kakashi. A boy came running out of the mansion. He raised his hands. A powerful blast of ice shot forward. Five of Kakashi's earth clones were frozen solid in an instant. The boy's body turned into a man made of living ice.
The boy said angrily, "Stop whatever you are doing to the professor."
Logan jumped toward Kakashi. The metal claws slid out again. Kakashi was surprised that the man was not dead yet. 'I am pretty sure that he should be unconscious and battered. A self-healing ability?'
Kakashi dodged the claw swipes. Logan pressed the attack. The blue-furred beast joined in. They attacked from two sides.
Kakashi thought, 'These guys really care about the old man. I should not kill him. That would mean our negotiations would come to an end. Not that they ever started.'
He ended Tsukuyomi on the old man.
Charles gasped and slumped forward. He breathed hard. His eyes were still bleeding. He looked up at Kakashi with pain and fear.
The boy with glasses opened his eyes wide. A red laser beam shot toward Kakashi. Kakashi decided it was time to end this.
An exoskeleton formed around him in blue energy. The laser hit the armor and scattered harmlessly. Two large fists appeared from the energy. They smashed the blue-furred beast and Logan away. Both men flew back and crashed into the grass.
Then the full Susanoo formed. The complete warrior rose around Kakashi. It towered over everything. Massive wings spread wide. Two huge swords burned in its hands.
The X-Men looked wide-eyed. Some dropped to their knees at the sheer power on display. The mansion seemed small compared to the giant.
Kakashi's voice echoed from inside the Susanoo.
"Are you willing to listen now?"
