"There is something wrong…" Mystique said as the Avengers and X-Men moved closer to the work in progress metal fortress and the pyramid.
Mystique stopped walking. Her yellow eyes fixed on the floating figure. Her voice trembled slightly. "Erik is strong. Very strong. But the amount of metal that he is controlling right now… it's insane. He has never controlled that much."
"What do you mean?" Cap asked
Tony looked up from his HUD. He zoomed in on the fortress with his suit's optics. "You are telling me he is not supposed to control a metal equal to what would be required to make at least a thousand tanks?"
Mystique shook her head. "No. He is strong but I have known him for years and he can't control that much metal. And he has been pushed to his limits several times so I know his limits."
Kakashi had his suspicions of what was happening but he needed more proof to confirm his theory. He kept his thoughts to himself.
As they drew closer it seemed that they had been spotted. As some people emerged from the building metal fortress.
Kakashi quickly stored his kunai and other weapons as well as his gloves which had some metal on them along with his headband to a scroll.
Anything metal would just be used by Magneto against him. He sealed them with a quick hand sign. The scroll vanished into his sleeve. He had learned long ago never to give an enemy a weapon he could turn against you.
The three people that came out stood beside Magneto who also landed.
Mystique pointed quickly. "That is Pyro," she said, indicating a young man with black hair and a manic grin. Flames danced along his fingertips.
"That's Sabretooth," she continued. A human lookalike beast stood next to Pyro. He snarled at the approaching group.
"And that's Psylocke," Mystique finished. A young woman with purple hair who stood on Magneto's other side.
And then a portal opened in front of the four men from which Apocalypse walked out.
He looked at the approaching group like they were insects.
"Ah so you have met my four horsemen," he said.
Tony asked as his helmet clapped open. "Wait, you mean they are the four horsemen as in the four horsemen of the apocalypse? Are you Christian by any chance? Did you read the Bible? I am not much of a man of faith but if you can let go this peacefully…"
Apocalypse stared at him.
Tony kept his mouth shut not wanting to annoy Apocalypse once again. Someone who could use telekinesis to send him flying miles away.
Cap sighed. "Tony."
Tony shrugged. "What? I was just trying diplomacy. It was worth a shot."
Apocalypse's voice rumbled like distant thunder. "I am Apocalypse and I am the faith. These four have taken to my faith and have been blessed by me to greater power."
Cyclops asked, "Greater power?"
Apocalypse smiled. It was cold. "Do not believe me? Why don't you find out? Go my horsemen."
As if Sabretooth was just waiting for his command, he roared and lunged. Before anyone could react Logan was jumped by him.
Sabretooth's claws extended and were at least two feet long. He slammed into Logan with the force of a freight train. Both men crashed to the ground. Sand exploded around them. Logan snarled. Claws met claws. Metal screeched against bone.
Mystique shouted in shock. "Sabretooth does not have that much strength and his claws are just centimeters bigger."
Cap threw his shield. It spun through the air and knocked Sabretooth off Logan. The beast rolled once. Then stood up in another second. He was unhurt.
Kakashi said, "Apocalypse said that they have been blessed and based from what you told me about Magneto and Sabretooth original powers, I am afraid Apocalypse has the power to increase another mutant's power."
Kakashi then looked at Erik aka Magneto who had again started floating. 'That man was already an Omega mutant. How much stronger is he now after his power getting enhanced.'
Pyro launched himself in a burst of flames. Bobby aka Iceman made a wall of ice to block his flames. The fire hissed and steamed against the ice. Both men circled each other. Flames roared. Ice cracked.
From Psylocke's hands two pink blades of energy were formed.
Tony whistled. "Lightsabers?"
Natasha gave him a side-eye as Tony replied, "What? You can say that's not cool."
Tony took to the skies and fired repulsor blasts at the woman who easily dodged him with a lot of skill. Natasha joined him fighting the woman.
Ororo took to the skies as well. Her eyes glowed as the sky shot lightning at Erik who just used the large amounts of metal with him to block them. Bolts struck metal shields.
The metal twisted and were molded to the shape of Spears. He threw them at Ororo. She countered forming a tornado to send them sideways.
Kakashi looked back at Banner and said, "Now would be a good time for you to get angry Banner."
Banner smirked. "That is my secret Kakashi."
"I am always angry."
And with that Hulk emerged and roared and jumped at Magneto and punched straight through an iron beam.
