---Mystique P.O.V-----
Mystique watched the green beast that had transformed from the man named Banner punch through the metal toward Erik only for Erik to bind him with another metal beam twisting it around him and send him flying back.
She saw the green beast roar as more and more metals came towards him and wrapped around his massive arms and chest.
She saw Erik moving his hands as more and more metal rose from the sand. They snapped tight around the monster.
'That masked man is right. Apocalypse really has some power that enhanced mutant's powers. Erik ability has gotten stronger.' Mystique thought.
She was then shocked to see the green monster which she learned was called a Hulk roar again and then with a bellow
he tore through the metal as if it was paper.
He jumped up at Erik again. Fist pulled back. Erik raised a wall of steel. The impact rang like a bell. Metal crumpled under the might of the fist.
The beast though had strength far surpassing what she had seen only Juggernaut use. She remembered watching Juggernaut tear through buildings like they were cardboard.
Hulk was doing the same now. He punched again. Erik blocked it again with metal. The shockwave knocked sand into the air. Mystique shielded her eyes.
'That strength he has something else. These Avengers are not simple people from the looks of things. This Hulk could tear through most of the brotherhood mutants easily.' She thought as she switched her attention to another fight.
She saw Ororo now sending blasts at Apocalypse who had formed a barrier in front of him and then used a form of telekinesis to send Ororo flying back.
Mystique switched her attention since she did not want to see more of the Apocalypse who was too strong. She knew that she would not be helping Ororo against him.
She then looked at the man with the shield, Captain America, attacking Sabretooth with Logan. She had been once upon a time been his fan during World War 2.
She believed that he would come to save the mutants but well he disappeared. She remembered the posters. The newsreels. The radio broadcasts. Captain America. The symbol of hope. The man who punched Nazis. The man who stood for justice.
She had been young then. She had dreamed that someone like him would see mutants the way he saw the oppressed.
That he would fight for them. Protect them. Then he vanished. She had stopped believing in heroes after that. But here he was. Granted, this captain america was from an alternate reality.
She then looked at the man with the suit of armor who was firing blasts at Psylocke and also the beautiful redhead that was keeping her busy.
Mystique tilted her head at the redhead, 'She is quite sexy. I would have asked her out if it was a better time.'
She did not know much about these people only that they were not from this universe and were here to save their universe because of something Erik was doing with Wanda.
The explanation still felt unreal. She had seen strange things. But this was beyond anything she had imagined. Erik had always talked about a better world. A safe world. She had believed him. Followed him. Loved him once.
But this? Destroying everything to make a new start? It terrified her. And yet part of her understood. She had lost too. She had been hated too. She had wanted to burn it all down too. But not like this. Not at the cost of everything.
Thankfully, it looked like with the X-Men and these new guys who called themselves Avengers help they might be able to save Erik and Charles.
She then turned to look at the man that was supposed to be their leader, if she was not wrong the masked man name was Kakashi. But he was nowhere to be found.
She saw a blue flash as she turned to see Ororo throwing lightning at Apocalypse once again.
But then she remembered, Ororo had been sent flying back by the man and she was pretty sure that she would not have easily recovered from that. A cold sweat broke on her back.
"Who is… that?" she mumbled stuttering.
As Apocalypse threw an energy blast at the supposed Ororo, she saw him transform into the masked man.
'He can change his appearance. Does he have my abilities? And he also threw lightning so that means also Ororo. Then there was a large construct he used to protect the school, can he copy the other mutants' powers? Is he also an Omega?' she thought awed.
She watched as Kakashi blew a fireball from his mouth toward Apocalypse.
Apocalypse created a large portal and then created another portal above Kakashi from where the fireball came back to him.
Kakashi simply walked out of the flames as if the flames had not even touched him.
With a burst of speed, he was next to Apocalypse with lightning covering his hand and to her surprise, Apocalypse matched him with his speed and he was backhanded by him. Or at least tried to as Apocalypse's hand passed through him.
And then his lightning-covered hand struck him.
But the armor of Apocalypse did not even have a scratch as he said, "Is that supposed to do something to me, mortal?"
Kakashi backed away. She could see the man's eyes were red with strange patterns.
She had seen Apocalypse fight against her Brotherhood and he had single-handedly destroyed them.
The X-Men had told her that Kakashi was very strong and he was their hope to stop Apocalypse considering the others were busy dealing with Apocalypse's four horsemen.
'I should quit watching and do what I can,' she thought.
