Tony said "The kids could stay here. There is enough place for them. There are training facilities for the Avengers which they could use to train their abilities. You can hold classes for them. As for their future, if they are deemed good enough and want to become a hero of Avengers, they can become one. Otherwise, Stark Industries would hire them according to what is best for them." Tony offered.
Hank nodded at that in agreement.
Kakashi said "As for their safety, with both X-Men and Avengers here and also with Tony's security and Jarvis supervision, there should not be any threats to the kids here. But Tony make sure to keep a tight information lid on the internet about the mutants. We do not want people finding about them yet."
Tony nodded as he gave his own directives to Jarvis in a low voice.
"We will introduce the X-Men one by one as Avengers one by one to prevent panic of so many super humans appearing out of nowhere. And we also need to be careful about the global politics if so many superhumans just live in the US. Other countries would not like it at all," Kakashi said wisely.
"Maybe bases in other countries would solve that," Cap said thoughtfully.
"We will discuss this later. Let's get the kids out. They are already tired and hungry," Kakashi said as he proceeded to release every X-Men and mutant currently in his Kamui dimension. One by one, figures began to appear in the Avengers Tower, looking around at their new home with a mix of hope and uncertainty.
----
As the X-Men and mutants were getting settled into their new rooms and spaces in the Avengers Tower, Creel, Blonsky, and Clint arrived at the building.
The elevator doors opened with a soft ding, and the three familiar figures stepped out. Clint immediately spotted Kakashi across the hall and rushed forward with a big grin.
He pulled Kakashi into a tight hug and patted his back strongly. "Man, I missed you. How do you handle working with these two? They both are arguing against each other the whole way here. It was like sitting between two kids fighting over the last cookie," Clint said with a laugh.
He then whispered a little silently into Kakashi's ear, "Oi, I think Creel has a thing for you. He just keeps talking about you and praising you. Maybe he is gay. You should get him tested." Clint pulled back with a mischievous wink, clearly enjoying the teasing.
Kakashi could not help but smile at his friend's playful nature. "It is good to meet you too, Clint. I missed you," Kakashi replied warmly. He felt a little better as he hugged Clint back.
The familiar comfort of his teammate helped ease some of the heavy feelings still inside him. He was still not over how he had lost Pietro, but he knew that he would do everything so that none of his friends in this universe would fall like that. The thought strengthened his resolve to protect this team no matter what.
"Jarvis told us about your arrival and we immediately came. There has not been much to do after you left," Clint explained as he stepped back. The archer looked around at the new faces in the tower with curiosity. "Looks like you brought back quite the crowd this time."
"Boss, I missed you!" Creel said, rushing towards Kakashi for a hug. Kakashi dodged him easily with smooth movements and just patted him on the back instead. "Sure, I missed you too, bud," Kakashi said nonchalantly.
His greeting with Creel was much more casual and distant compared to the warm embrace he had shared with Clint. Creel sulked visibly, his large shoulders dropping as he crossed his arms and muttered something under his breath.
Blonsky gave Kakashi a simple nod of respect, which Kakashi returned with equal calmness.
Hank then walked in his beast form, his blue furry body moving quickly as he chased a couple of kids through the open common area. "Come here, you little pricks. You both need to go to bed," Hank called out.
The children laughed loudly as they ran around furniture and pillars, clearly enjoying the game. "But this place is so big. We wanna explore," the kids shouted back while dodging his gentle grabs.
"Umm, is that a talking beast running after kids?" Clint asked while the trio looked at them in shock and surprise.
Kakashi then explained where they had gone and what had happened.
The shock was clear on their faces as Kakashi went on.
Finally, Kakashi finished the story. "We will integrate them slowly. Some will join the Avengers, and the kids will have a safe place here. It is a second chance for them. But we must stay alert. Bringing them here might have changed some things in our timeline. We will face new challenges together as one bigger team." The three men nodded slowly, still stunned but ready to support their leader.
Then they heard a quack and a shout. "Oi, you little creature, let go of me!" Howard the Duck shouted loudly. The kids had found the talking duck who had come with Clint and were now playing with him excitedly.
"Wow, a talking duck!" the children cheered as they surrounded Howard. One boy gently poked his feathers while the other tried to pick him up for a hug. Howard flapped his wings and waddled away quickly, trying to escape the little demons.
"Watch the feathers, kid! These are premium grade duck feathers, not toys!" Howard quacked angrily. He tried to run but failed as a girl chased him with a big smile. "Come on, Mr. Duck, let us play! You can be the captain of our spaceship."
Howard threw his wings up in frustration and tried to run away as fast as he can.
The kids kept giggling and following him around the common area. One boy offered him a piece of bread. "Do you like bread, Mr. Duck? We can be friends." Howard paused, looked at the bread, and then sighed. "Fine, but only because I am starving. But no hugging. I have a reputation to maintain."
Hank looked at the duck and then at Kakashi and said, "Your world is weirder than ours."
