As they reached the Avengers Tower, Tony said,"Prepare for a few guests, Jarvis."
When Jarvis asked "how many guests are there?" he started firing rapid questions one after another.
The AI voice echoed through the Avengers Tower. "Should I prepare living quarters? What dietary requirements do they have? Are any of them allergic to anything? Do they require medical attention? Should I alert security protocols? How long will they be staying?"
Tony asked "oi oi oi are you my wife or what? Just connect to my suit's Jarvis and you would find everything you need to know."
He sighed,"Honestly, Jarvis, you are acting like I brought home a circus without telling you first. Relax, buddy. I have already sent the data over. Just pull it up and stop sounding like a worried mother hen."
Jarvis paused for a brief second before replying in a slightly offended tone. "I am merely being thorough, sir. Last time you brought unexpected guests, the tower's systems had to deal with a giant green rage monster as well as some alien god. I prefer to be prepared rather than surprised."
Tony laughed loudly at that. He clapped his hands together and pointed at the ceiling where the AI voice came from. "See, that is why I love you, Jarvis. You never let me forget my mistakes. But this time it is different. We have got mutants, not monsters. Mostly."
Tony finally waved his hand one last time. "Just get the rooms ready, stock the kitchen with normal food and lots of snacks for the kids, and keep the systems on standby."
Jarvis replied calmly, "Understood, sir. Data synced."
Kakashi first decided to bring out Logan who looked around at the sudden shift in his surroundings. The gruff mutant with metal claws took in the high-tech tower with its shiny surfaces."Fancy place you have here," Logan said in his rough voice. He crossed his arms and nodded slightly in approval.
"Thanks I redecorated it myself," Tony said proudly. He puffed out his chest a little and gestured around the spacious hall. "Everything you see is top of the line. Stark technology at its finest. Feel free to look around but try not to scratch the floors with those claws of yours. They are expensive."
Natasha looked around a bit and asked, "So is the reality breaking apart? Are we screwed?"
Everyone turned their attention toward Kakashi.
Tony said "Crap, I forgot to talk to Pepper one last time. Jarvis call...." He reached for his phone quickly, worry flashing across his face at the thought of the world ending without him saying goodbye properly.
Kakashi interrupted him and said "Let's wait first before calling anyone and causing unnecessary panic." He raised his hand calmly.
Ancient One stepped out of a portal that appeared in a swirl of golden sparks. "It seemed your theory was right, Kakashi san. Logan seemed to be covered with your aura and thus is a part of singularity caused by your actions. It seems like we have avoided an Incursion."
She looked around the tower with mild interest before turning back to the group.
"You gotta tell me what technology you use to make these portals one of these days," Tony asked both relieved about the world not getting destroyed and again seeing the magic in action. He stared at the closing portal with sparkling eyes full of curiosity.
Kakashi asked "So it is safe to bring other mutants out?"
"Yes," Ancient One said simply at first. But then she continued with a serious tone. "But do not take it as free reign of your actions. Every action has a consequence and such an action would bring changes to our universe and timeline. The arrival of these mutants will create new ripples. Some paths that were once certain may now shift. New threats might appear that did not exist before, or old problems might find new solutions. You must remain watchful."
She expanded on her warning carefully. "The multiverse is delicate. By bringing them here under your protection, you have taken responsibility for how their presence affects everything. Small changes today can become large waves tomorrow. Heroes from another world carry their own destinies, powers, and enemies. Some of those enemies might follow or new ones might rise in response to their energy signatures now being part of this reality."
Ancient One spoke with deep wisdom. "I will continue to monitor the timelines as best as I can. But even I cannot see every possibility when a singularity like you is involved, Kakashi. Be prepared for unexpected outcomes. Protect these people but also protect the balance of this world. Great power always comes with great accountability."
Kakashi thought 'So she means that X-Men coming here had changed some of the future. Maybe for the good or for the bad.' He stood quietly for a moment, processing her words.
Some changes could bring better protection against future threats, but others might create fresh conflicts with governments or new villains.
"Before we bring them out, should not we think about what we should do with the kids and what about the X-Men? We cannot just keep them here. They should have some purpose," Cap said thoughtfully.
Kakashi had brought out Hank already. He looked at Hank and said, "Professor had said that you are the new principal of the school. So it is your decision."
"I am thankful for your hospitality and help. I and the other mutants would have to depend on you continuously but we cannot just do nothing. You Avengers seem to be the protectors of this world so we X-Men would like to join you all in your pursuit of safety," Hank said looking at Kakashi who was the leader of the Avengers. His voice was sincere and grateful.
"Very well, Welcome to the Avengers" Kakashi simply said without any hesitation suprising Hank and Logan.
"We need all the help we could get if threats like Jean or Apocalypse are out there in our own universe or even the multiverse," Kakashi explained his reasoning although he just wanted to give the X-Men and Wanda's kids a safe place to live and a purpose. He believed working together would make everyone stronger while giving the newcomers a sense of belonging.
Hank nodded in thanks and said "As of this moment the X-Men are no longer a group and thus abolished." He accepted the new beginning with quiet resolve.
