Daniel held Bella Green, looking at the bonfire, and moved forward a bit, wanting to get closer to the heat source.
But he didn't notice that his sleeve, drooping on the ground, was pushed into the bonfire as he moved, catching fire instantly.
Daniel was startled, and hurriedly moved backward with Bella in his arms.
In his panic, he clumsily failed to shake off the burning clothes, his heart nearly leapt out of his throat as the flames grew bigger.
