UK:GSW Chapter 413 – Tamamo-no-Mae: I Want to Be the Ruler of Yokai, So I'm Going to Create the Yokai Clan

In the end, the Four-Tails' disguise avatar was also quite distinctive—he chose the ragged, tall monkey form from the early "Destined One" stage in Black Myth: Wukong.

Without a doubt, after witnessing the Monkey King's grand "Havoc in Heaven," the Four-Tails became a die-hard fan of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. Even though the Great Sage was ultimately pinned beneath the Five Elements Mountain by the Buddha, to the Four-Tails, this made him even more relatable—after all, being captured by humans and sealed inside a jinchūriki wasn't so different from the Great Sage's fate.

In fact, wasn't the reason the Great Sage rampaged through Heaven because he first demonstrated great power, only to be "recruited" by the Heavenly Court? In a way, they coveted his power—just as the humans of the shinobi world covet the power of the Tailed Beasts while still viewing them as nothing more than beasts.

The parallels were undeniable. This strong sense of identification made the Four-Tails both admire the Great Sage and feel deep empathy for him, naturally giving rise to the mindset of following in his footsteps—thus his new "Malo" appearance.

While using a monkey avatar in the illusion game world might seem odd, in an environment where many people already made their avatars look highly abstract, the Four-Tails' disguise was nothing out of the ordinary—at most, it might just draw some extra attention.

For Tamamo-no-Mae's plans for the Tailed Beast squad, this was perfectly normal. After all, she herself was already one of the most attention-grabbing presences in the illusion game world, and now that she was bringing the Tailed Beasts in under disguises, she never intended to keep a low profile. Her goal was to make the Tailed Beast squad the strongest team in the illusion world.

Yes—getting the Tailed Beasts together and having them choose disguise avatars wasn't just to complete the mission the group had given her, nor simply to persuade and manage them—it was also to take the opportunity to create her own team.

This was only natural. In the current illusion game, many activities required forming parties or even large groups. While Tamamo-no-Mae was popular and had many human admirers willing to team up with her, they were, in the end, humans—not Tailed Beasts.

They could play together, but forming a close-knit group, getting to know each other deeply—that didn't interest them, and some even resisted the idea.

Tamamo-no-Mae could work alongside people like Uchiha Kei, Minato Namikaze, and Kushina Uzumaki—those willing to cooperate and fight shoulder-to-shoulder—but others didn't fit. And those three certainly weren't like her, spending every day gaming and online; they had their own duties.

Under those circumstances, there were very few she could find who both played the way she did and were people she wanted to spend time with.

Nine-Tails Sett was one of them—after all, they were both Nine-Tails, and once she'd established dominance, everything was smooth. But just having Sett wasn't enough—so the arrival of the Tailed Beasts filled that gap.

Even with troublemakers like Shukaku among them, once they were handled, the rest were easy to deal with and worth keeping around long-term.

From today, Tamamo-no-Mae would form her own "Heavenly Squad"!

And so, aside from the still-roasting Shukaku, every other Tailed Beast now had its own unique avatar.

From there, Tamamo-no-Mae and Sett led their group of newbie Tailed Beasts into the illusion game world.

Honestly, this lineup—if it had appeared at a convention in Uchiha Kei's previous life—would definitely be considered a high-quality cosplay group. Each avatar was distinctive, with plenty of anime-style features, and even without knowing who they were cosplaying, the combination of striking designs and high visual quality would instantly draw attention.

When Uchiha Kei saw them, he thought the group would be perfect for performing on stage—be it a play or a live show.

And that wasn't even impossible. Tamamo-no-Mae's life was now vibrant and free, naturally inspiring all kinds of creative ideas.

Her current persona as Tamamo-no-Mae was already a kind of performance-oriented personality. Anyone who knew the Nine-Tails from before could see the difference—this Tamamo-no-Mae was almost unrecognizable compared to the original.

Part of it was the influence of the illusion game and illusion network, constantly washing over her with pink and yellow thoughts from countless minds. But a major factor was her own willingness to embrace the fun, to change, and to live differently.

You could say the Nine-Tails had found her new life goal—a second life.

And Tamamo-no-Mae had a curious ambition: to create a "Yokai Clan" in the shinobi world, with herself as the legendary ruler of the yokai.

Of course, the yokai she wanted to create weren't the kind that terrorized and ate people. Her vision was pure anime-style—yokai with unique appearances, personalities, and flair, just like something out of Gensokyo.

Cool, fun, and stylish—that was her goal.

Whether it would work was another matter. Uchiha Kei was content to watch from the sidelines, though he thought it had a good chance. After all, the shinobi world already had many summoning beasts—creatures that, in other worlds, would easily be called yokai. Some could even transform into human form.

From that perspective, they were already yokai—just without the label.

If Tamamo-no-Mae could win over the summoning beasts and get them to "play" with her, creating a yokai clan wouldn't be impossible.

For now, though, Tamamo-no-Mae was simply having fun.

Yes, genuinely having fun—taking her Tailed Beast partners into games and showing off her skills as both an old hand and a master player in front of them was deeply satisfying.

It was the classic thrill gamers chase: showing off in front of others.

At the moment, Tamamo-no-Mae was in high spirits—outwardly still cold and queenly, but with a smile slipping through now and then, harder to suppress than AK's recoil.

The Nine-Tails' happiness really was that simple.

Sett was the same, though less restrained than Tamamo-no-Mae. He was completely unfiltered—shouting when he showed off, cursing when others underperformed, and keeping the energy level at maximum the entire time.

With their avatars on, both humans and Tailed Beasts alike seemed freer, even when everyone knew what they really looked like.

The other Tailed Beasts also found it incredibly fun. Though they always felt the pressure of having two Nine-Tails around, the novelty and magic of the illusion game was unlike anything they'd experienced before—it pulled them in completely.

They fell for it almost instantly.

There were plenty of games to choose from, and even those who didn't like fighting didn't reject it outright. Games like Ultimate Ninja Storm, with multiplayer battles, drew them in completely.

Though moving around in "beastman" form took some getting used to, the freedom to run, to join in all kinds of battles and events they'd never experienced before, and the sheer joy the games brought was irresistible.

Soon, they were fully immersed in this new gaming life.

Only Gyūki, still roaming outside with Killer B and unaware of any of this, and Shukaku—still roasting—hadn't joined the fun.

To Shukaku, this was pure bullying, deepening his grudge against the Nine-Tails. That hatred would never fade.

Still, with the others completely won over, they also accepted the request to serve as server "base stations."

Even though it meant sealing their bodies into special containers as substitutes for jinchūriki hosts, none of them objected.

After all, their bodies might be sealed, but their minds would be free—and the illusion game was just too much fun. Compared to the shinobi world, it was a thousand, ten thousand times better. They never wanted to leave.

For the Tailed Beasts, the shinobi world held nothing worth staying for. Freedom didn't exist in this era—if released, they would soon be hunted down and sealed again.

They knew this well. So rather than chase the illusion of freedom, they chose the real freedom of the illusion world.

With their cooperation, the Tailed Beast base stations were built—Shukaku included.

Though rebellious, after seeing the others having so much fun, his jealousy got the better of him, and he finally agreed—choosing his own avatar and becoming a happy "gaming beast."

The illusion world was amazing.jpg.

With seven base stations complete, Konoha sent them across both the main shinobi world and parts of World No. 2.

They didn't return any to the villages of World No. 2—not even Shukaku to Sunagakure.

While Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage of World No. 2, was close friends with Naruto—practically sworn brothers—and in the past Naruto would have returned Shukaku without hesitation, now he had grown.

After all his experiences and with the resolve to work with his father from the main world to change both worlds, Naruto knew some things had to be put above personal friendship—he chose to keep it secret from Gaara.

Growth had its costs.

Still, Uchiha Kei didn't plan to ruin that friendship entirely. While Sunagakure was excluded for now, it was part of future plans—thanks to Naruto and Gaara's bond, and the alliance between their villages, it could be brought in later.

They were only holding back because the Five Kage Summit of World No. 2 was imminent—some things had to wait until after.

Yes—the legendary Five Kage Summit was about to convene.

As in the original story, the reason was the disappearance of Killer B, jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails. Out of brotherly love, the Fourth Raikage called the summit, inviting the other Kage to discuss action against Akatsuki.

Though it would turn out to be a false alarm—Killer B wasn't captured but had slipped away to play—the attack by Sasuke Uchiha and Tobi at the summit in the original had still led to the formation of the Allied Shinobi Forces.

But now, with Tobi, Black Zetsu, and Kabuto Yakushi all either defeated, captured, or allied, that chain of events couldn't happen.

This summit would likely end without results. With no villains stirring trouble, the real focus would be the existing tensions between nations and villages.

And once the truth of Killer B's "disappearance" came out, even that pretext would vanish—leaving the summit to devolve into little more than an argument.

World No. 2's Konoha attended with that expectation. Tsunade, Kakashi, and others headed to the Land of Iron, more focused on future cooperation with the main world's Konoha than the summit itself.
