The Sage's spiritual power surged, pressing his palms against their raised hands. In that instant, his "divine power" activated—just like in the original story, when he granted them power-ups.
The two immediately felt overwhelming energy flooding their bodies, saturating every fiber of their beings—elevating them into the very forms they once had in the battle against Kaguya Otsutsuki.
Naruto gained the Six Paths Sage Mode, while Sasuke's left eye transformed into the Rinnegan.
Not only that—Sasuke's entire body was strengthened to a level comparable to Hashirama Senju's Sage Body, though this transformation was visually unremarkable, appearing plain.
In the original story, after the war, Naruto lost Six Paths Sage Mode, while Sasuke retained his Rinnegan but lost the Sage Body's immense power—making those forms temporary boosts.
But here, Kei had no intention of letting such overwhelming strength vanish. Instead, he ensured the forms became permanent.
Thus, once Naruto and Sasuke received the upgrades, Kei instructed them not to rush to test the new power. Instead, they entered the illusionary world again, where Hamura would guide them—using altered time flow and simulations to help them fully absorb and master their cheat-like powers.
This was the plan from the beginning. So without hesitation, Naruto and Sasuke stepped into the genjutsu world once more.
