Chapter 77– The Difference Between Dragon and Dragon

While walking deeper into the forest, the dense canopy above filtered the sunlight into scattered golden beams that danced across the forest floor. Bella looked at Dante and said: "You know, Dante, you still haven't told me much about dragons. Now that I've become half-dragon, I should know more about them, right?"

Dante walked beside her, the leaves crunching softly under their feet as he considered her question. "Ah, that's true. I forgot to tell you about our race, huh? Well, dragons are divided into many different types: fire, water, light, lightning, ice, wind, darkness… many types of dragons. And generally they are immune to their own elements, meaning it's almost impossible to kill a fire dragon using fire. But even among dragons there is a huge difference."

Bella asked curiously: "What difference?"

The path ahead grew thicker with vines and ancient trees, their trunks scarred by time and weather. Dante continued: "Lineage and power. You know, a powerful dragon may not have a strong lineage, but a dragon with a strong lineage is definitely powerful. So even if you see another dragon, he could be pathetically weak. It's like the lineage is divided into soldier, general, king or god."

Bella said: "I understand. So it's basically impossible for a soldier dragon to become stronger than a general or dragon king?"

Dante said: "It's not impossible, but he would need a super special ability to achieve that success."

Bella said: "But Dante, what would be the difference between these classes of dragons?"

Dante paused for a moment as they stepped over a fallen log, the air thick with the scent of moss and earth. "Well, the soldier dragon has a maximum destruction level of a city. The general dragon can destroy countries, the dragon king can destroy continents, and the god dragon can destroy planets. That's why the difference is so big. But ironically, the difference between god-dragons is the greatest."

Bella asked confused: "Why?"

Dante smiled and said: "Because, you know, Mars is also a planet and Jupiter is also a planet. So a dragon that can destroy Jupiter will never be equal to a god-dragon that can destroy Mars. The difference is enormous even though both are god-dragons."

Bella was in shock and said: "So dragons are that strong? Even the weakest one can destroy a city? Then brother, what is your level of strength?"

Dante said: "Well, if we're only counting my base power without any abilities or dimensional portal techniques, I'm at the level of planetary destruction — on the scale smaller than or equal to the size of Earth." He continued: "Well, I'm still new. I still have plans to get stronger. I'm just waiting for the right opportunity."

He then noticed that Bella had gone silent. He looked and saw Bella staring at him in shock. She then said: "You're telling me that my younger brother here can destroy the Earth? How are you so strong, huh?"

Dante said: "Because I had both things: a stolen powerful ability and a good lineage. Putting the two together, I got this strength."

Dante thought: Well, now that I stopped to think about it, getting stronger, right? My original plan was to wait for the Sea of Monsters the plot of to happen and wait for Percy to go after that object to heal Thalia. At that moment I was going to take advantage of Cronos being weak and devour him, becoming a true time-space god-dragon. But now that I stopped to think, after doing that I could search for some ownerless dimensions or ones with weak owners. After all, what doesn't lack in horror movies are monsters that have dimensions and are weak. If I devour Cronos and become a time-space god-dragon, I could take that dimension and even use them to devour other dimensions, even stars and planets from the main universe, creating my own world. After all, if Olympus has their own dimension, why can't I have my own? With analogy power at its peak, devouring a defenseless and sealed Cronos isn't difficult. And after becoming a God-dragon, executing this plan is no longer just a dream.

But he was then interrupted by Bella calling him: "Dante! Dante!"

Dante looked and saw several dinosaurs: Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and many others.

He said smiling: "Yes, they are very beautiful." They watched the dinosaurs running across the flat parts of the island.

He said: "Well, let's go. I've already decided which one you're going to train with."

He started walking toward the dinosaurs.

Bella asked curiously: "Which one am I going to train with?"

Dante said: "Triceratops. They are slow in their attacks, which gives even normal people time to dodge. They are very resistant, which can withstand your attacks without getting too hurt. And they have a lot of strength, which is ideal for you to get used to yours."

They then arrived in front of them.

Bella looked at Dante and said: "What do I do now? Do I go there and punch him? How do I do it?"

Dante smiled and jumped, landing on top of a tree. He then threw a stone he picked up from the ground at high speed at the Triceratops' head, making it angry. It then turned and charged toward Bella.

Dante smiled and said: "There's your answer. Your opponent has already entered the ring."

Bella shouted angrily at Dante: "You idiot!"

The massive Triceratops thundered forward, its heavy footsteps shaking the ground like mini earthquakes. Bella's heart raced as she dodged to the side at the last second, the creature's horn grazing the air where she had just been standing. Dust and leaves exploded into the air from the impact.

Dante said: "Good, you already learned to dodge. Bella, you are more agile than him. Take advantage of the advantage and jump when dodging. You also have to get used to your leg strength, so don't just punch him."

Bella shouted: "Easy to say! I'm trying not to get trampled here!"

The Triceratops turned with surprising speed for its size, lowering its head and charging again. Bella leaped high this time, her new dragon-enhanced legs propelling her far above the beast. She felt the raw power surging through her muscles as she landed behind it.

Dante said: "Relax. Even if you get trampled it's no problem. Your defense can handle it. It'll just hurt a little."

Bella, who had dodged another attack, said: "Good to know I'll only end up bandaged. That helps a lot!" She said with irony.

She then kicked the Triceratops with force, the impact echoing like a thunderclap. The massive dinosaur was sent crashing sideways into a tree, snapping the trunk with a loud crack and sending leaves and branches raining down. It roared furiously at her and fled deeper into the forest.

Dante jumped from the tree and said, landing in front of her: "So, how was your first fight, Bella?"

Bella sat on the ground exhausted and said: "Much more exhausting than I thought."

Dante smiled and said: "But in the next training you'll like it. I'm going to teach you how to fly."

Bella said excitedly: "To fly? For real?"

Dante said: "Yes, for real."

Bella said: "But what about the strength control training?"

Dante said: "You've already done enough for today. You have to understand that strength control training isn't done in one day. So for today you've already learned the basics and how much strength you have. You already have enough control not to kill anyone by accident. The rest we'll continue working on day by day from now on. Now I can teach you how to fly. It's a cool ability."

Bella said: "Then what are we waiting for? I want to fly!" She said excitedly.

Dante smiled: "Rest a little and I'll teach you after the rest."
