Chapter 206 - Chapter 206: Sweet Life

Arima already had a plan for dealing with the powers of the Devil Fruits.

He left the Glint-Glint Fruit for his son, Arata, prepared the Magma-Magma Fruit for Grandma Mito, gave the Ice-Ice Fruit to Nawaki; and kept the Paw-Paw Fruit for himself.

He also preserved the Toy-Toy Fruit from Sugar, the Flower-Flower Fruit from Robin, the Glare-Glare Fruit from Viola, and the Snow-Snow Fruit for Monet.

As for the rest, Arima decided to convert them all into merit points.

In other words, apart from Konoha, the Devil Fruit powers of the seas would vanish entirely.

Even if Arima were no longer in this world, Konoha would still stand as the unchallenged ruler over the oceans.

Using his Tenseigan to survey the area, Arima quickly found the remains of the Five Elders and retrieved one of the Supreme Grade Blades among the twenty-one masterpieces.

He remembered clearly that he still owed Shanks a fine sword.

No sooner had he returned to the Hokage's office in Konoha than Tsunade transformed into a streak of lightning, throwing herself into his arms.

She held him tightly, joy shining in her eyes. "Welcome home, Arima!"

"I made you worry, Tsunade. I'm back!" Arima said gently, caressing his wife's cheek before placing a soft kiss upon it.

The two lingered in each other's embrace for a while.

"What about Imu?" Tsunade asked.

"He's been dealt with."

"So that means the one pulling the strings behind the World Government is gone… and we can build a new one?"

Arima nodded.

"Arima, Robin and the others suddenly lost all their powers," Tsunade finally mentioned.

"I extracted all those Devil Fruit powers from Imu's body. I'll return them to Robin and the others soon."

"Then does that mean… a person can now eat multiple Devil Fruits?" Tsunade asked, eyes bright with hope.

"I haven't tested it yet," Arima admitted. "But it seems possible to eat several if the fruits are purified and without defects."

"Then, Arima… do you have the Tremor-Tremor Fruit?" she asked eagerly.

"Hmm… right here." Arima took out a new Tremor-Tremor Fruit from his Kamui space.

Before he could react, Tsunade had already taken a small bite from it.

To his relief, the usual violent rejection didn't occur.

He tapped her lightly on the head and scolded, "You brat. What if something had gone wrong? Were you planning for me to bring you back with Edo Tensei?"

Seeing the seriousness in his expression, Tsunade clung to his arm and pouted playfully. "I'm sorry, Arima!"

Her pitiful look melted his heart. He asked softly, "How do you feel?"

"My body feels kind of full… I probably can't handle a third one," she said regretfully.

"You greedy cat. Those fruits taste awful, and you still want a third?"

"Taste awful? Oh, so that's what felt off earlier. No wonder! But Arima, try it, it's actually delicious!" She offered him the fruit she'd bitten into.

Arima gently pushed it aside, then pulled out several dozen Devil Fruits at once, picking out the one he wanted, the Paw-Paw Fruit.

"Arima, what's that?"

"The Paw-Paw Fruit. A fascinating ability, it can repel anything, even fatigue, pain, or the soul itself."

Tsunade's eyes sparkled. 'If Arima masters that, then I'll really be blessed,' she thought.

Under her anxious gaze, Arima calmly ate the fruit, down to the last bite.

"Actually, the taste isn't bad at all," he said, savoring it.

"Arima," Tsunade said softly, "I was so worried about you just now.

Now I suddenly feel really tired… Could you give me a massage?" Her voice was low and sweet as she nestled against him.

"You really are just like Yuna, still such a child," he teased. But his hands were already moving, gently massaging her shoulders.

"Your hands… they're so soft now! Mmm… oh… that feels amazing!" Tsunade couldn't help but let out a soft, contented sigh.

The Paw-Paw Fruit's softness alone wasn't what made it so effective, it was Arima's precise control over its power, adjusting the pressure perfectly at every moment.

If Kuma ever learned of this, he'd probably cry in a corner.

After a long session, Tsunade lay limp and satisfied, thoroughly pampered.

"Arima, I'll never be able to live without you again," she murmured, reclining on the sofa, her eyes hazy with affection.

"Well," Arima said with a chuckle, "looks like I've found myself a real handful."

"Do you mind?" Tsunade wrapped her arms around his neck, half her body leaning against him.

Knowing exactly what she meant, Arima sighed. "Someone's coming soon. Let's wait until later."

Tsunade giggled. "Then it's a promise, Arima!"

She hooked her pinky finger around his, grinning playfully.

Arima went along with it, laughing. "Have I adopted another daughter or something?"

But Tsunade wasn't about to back down. "Arima, didn't you say once, 'The world is vast, but Tsunade is the greatest'? What, did you forget?"

Her words brought him back to their younger days. They'd lived together for decades, almost an entire lifetime for ordinary people. Looking at her now, his gaze softened even more.

"Tsunade… I love you."

Arima rarely said those words aloud. He usually preferred to show his love through action rather than speech.

Tsunade was stunned with joy, her heart overflowing. She hugged him tightly and whispered, trembling with emotion, "Arima… let's go."

And so, the two disappeared into a separate dimension, lost in each other, leaving behind a mountain of work to deal with another day.

The following morning's headlines carried three explosive stories.

The fall of Mary Geoise, the seat of the World Government, the loss of powers among all Devil Fruit users across the world, and the appearance of Yonko Arima at Marineford, ending the war.

Any one of these would have shaken the world. Together, they heralded one thing, the world was about to change.

When Vice Admiral Garp led a fleet of Marines to Mary Geoise, they found only ruins.

Yet instead of despair, he felt an unfamiliar lightness, as though the shackles of fate had finally fallen away.

He recalled Arima's words about "rebuilding the World Government" and realized this was indeed his doing.

Now, with the Revolutionary Army allied with Konoha, they had already taken control of most of the seas, enough to overpower the Navy itself.

The formation of a new tripartite world government was inevitable.
