Aiden's fingers tracing the edges of one wing. He lifted it slowly, opening it with careful precision, as if handling something precious. Then he folded it back, only to stretch it again moments later, testing the flexibility of the delicate structure with quiet curiosity.
Leona burst into laughter, her voice bright and unrestrained.
