Solarian Prime within the Galamedees Galaxy is the homeworld of the Solarian race.
From space, the planet was entirely green and seemed to be covered in one giant forest that covered the entire planet.
Surrounding the largest tree on the planet, which stretched up above the clouds and almost into orbit, was a magnificent city that had buildings built into and around trees, with walkways connecting between the different trees.
Within the largest tree sat the Solarian royal palace, and within one of the rooms that looked like an office, an elven-looking male with blonde hair was looking towards a holographic screen that was above his desk as he asked.
"What were you thinking, daughter? Why did you make that public statement and even invite the Terran princess here to Solarian Prime?"
"I thought that was fairly obvious by my statement, Father," Liluth replied calmly.
"What's obvious about it?" Liluth's father asked. "You have refused to speak on the matter of what happened with that Terran streamer all these years and now you make a statement inviting a member of the Terran imperial family here."
"Is there a question there, father?"
"Yes, there is a question. Why? Why have you invited the Terran Princess all of a sudden?"
"Because we Solarians should not be turning the other races against the Terran race. As one of the eldest races in the universe, we should be more mature and set a better example than that."
"More mature? You're talking to me about maturity when you're barely over fifty. If you're so mature, why didn't you even speak on this subject? That's one of the main reasons that our people dislike the Terrans so much."
"I am aware of that, Father," Liluth replied with a sad look in her eyes.
"Then why?"
"It was necessary."
"Necessary? Necessary for what?"
"That's enough, dear," A female voice suddenly chimed in before a stunningly beautiful female elf who looked very similar to Liluth walked into the room and stood beside the man.
"Enough? She hasn't even answered me," The man scoffed.
"Perhaps not, but we both know that with the way you and my father dote on Liluth, if she refuses to speak on the matter, then you will eventually give up," The woman said.
"Hmph," The man replied before falling silent.
The woman shook her head at her husband before looking towards Liluth on the holographic screen and asking, "Is there anything you are willing to tell us, dear?"
Liluth looked at her mother with a serious look before saying, "I'm doing it for him, mother."
Liluth's mother's eyes widened in surprise at hearing the words of her daughter, while her father frowned and asked, "Him? Him who?"
"Is it finally time, dear?" The woman asked with a smile while ignoring her husband.
"It will be soon," Liluth said with a small smile.
"Who is he?" The man asked again with a frown.
"How exciting. You have waited so long for this, my dear. I can't wait to meet him," The woman said in excitement before adding with a pout, "you kept his identity a secret from everyone, even your own mother."
"Would you please tell me who you two are talking about?" The man asked in an angry tone.
"It's girl talk, my dear, girl talk." The woman replied as she tapped his shoulder gently.
"Girl talk? Him? Wait, did Liluth get herself a boyfriend?" He asked in shock before turning to look at Liluth and asking, "Did you get yourself a boyfriend? And what does he have to do with the Terran Princess? Wait.... is he a Terran of all races?"
"Leave her be, dear, she is old enough to make her own choices, plus you were never this interested when Ulesse started dating Malgath."
"It's Malgath. Why would I be so interested in him? I mean, who doesn't know who he is?"
"You and my father have always just been too protective of Liluth."
"Can you blame us? First, she was almost kidnapped and then the incident with the Terran streamer."
"Yes, yes, well, nothing has happened in over thirty years now, has it? So why don't you let her find someone she likes, just as you let her decide the profession she wanted to follow?"
"They're two completely different things. New tech isn't going to break her heart when she learns it was only using her position and scientific genius."
"You mean like how you only wanted to marry me so you could replace my father as king?" The woman asked with a teasing smile.
"What? I never did such a thing," The man replied in distress before realising that his wife was teasing him and so scoffed and said, "What rubbish are you saying? You're going to give our daughter the wrong impression of me."
"What, you mean like how you're an overprotective father who won't let her be alone with a man without bodyguards, other than you, my father or her brothers?"
"She's without bodyguards all the time when working?"
"She's on a space station, she works in a lab for peat's sake. Surrounded by her employees."
"Well, she has never made any mention of wanting to spend time with a man without bodyguards."
Liluth was about to reply when her mother beat her to it, "Oh, really? Then what about that young man who saved her from the kidnapping attempt when she was young and wanted to thank by offering to show him around the city, but you wouldn't allow it."
"She had just had an attempted kidnapping take place," The man replied before adding, "I also remember you agreeing that she shouldn't leave the castle. for a while after that."
"It was the same young man who saved her for peat's sake, " The woman replied while ignoring the comment the man said.
"You claimed that he was obviously on a date since he was with a woman who was holding the man's arm. You think we should have let our little girl be a third wheel?"
"Just because a woman holds a man's arm, it doesn't mean they're romantically involved. I mean, I hold my father's arm at times."
"That's different, he's your father."
The woman was about to reply when she noticed that the holographic screen had vanished, meaning that Liluth had at some point ended the holocall.
"Look what you did, your overprotectiveness has caused our daughter to end the call," The woman claimed before turning sharply on her heel in a way that made her long blond hair slap the man in the face before she walked out of the room.
The man stared after his departing wife before slumping in the chair and muttering to himself, "I'm not overprotective. It's just that no man will ever be good enough for my little girl."
💫💫💫
Liluth sighed and ran her hand down her face as she ended the holocall with her parents.
She knew her father was only looking out for her, and for the most part, she was fine with his, her grandfathers and her brothers protecting her from men who wanted to get close to her. However, that stopped when it came to Adam; no one was going to get between her and her love. Even if it meant turning the whole universe against her, she would do what was necessary for them all to live a happy life.
After a few seconds to calm her thoughts, Liluth opened the drawer on her desk and withdrew the same sealed square box that contained her notebook before opening it again after pressing her finger against the same certain part of it.
From inside, she took out one of the many similarly sized small airtight metal boxes and the notebook before closing the main box and putting it back in her drawer.
She placed the notebook on her desk before pressing her finger against a certain section of the smaller metal box, and a second later, a section of it slid out that contained a datadrive with the words, 'Terran Traitors' written on it.
Liluth took a nervous breath before she used her console to call the Solarian Universal Diplomatic Affairs department.
"Princess Liluth. What can I do for you?" A Solarian asked respectfully after they saw who called them.
"Please put me through to the TISF ship Imperial Down," Liluth replied politely.
"Princess?" The Solarian asked in surprise.
"Is there a problem?" Liluth asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Of course not, one moment, princess," The Solarian replied before putting Liluth on hold.
She waited nervously for a few seconds until the holocall connected again, this time to show a Terran whose face warped into shock as she saw who was contacting the ship.
The Terran female took a few seconds to gather herself before she said, "This is the TISF cruiser Imperial Down. How might I assist you, Princess Solar?"
"If possible, I would like to speak with Princess Terrana regarding her visit to Solarian Prime. Could you please put me through?" Liluth asked politely with a smile.
"Of course, please wait one moment while I check if she is available to take your call," The Terran female said before placing Liluth on hold again.
After several seconds, the Terran Female appeared on the holographic screen again before saying, "I apologise for the wait, Princess Solar. I will transfer you through to Princess Terrana right now."
After speaking, the holographic screen showed the hold screen for a couple of seconds before it changed to show two women looking back at Liluth with surprised expressions.
