"I'll do it," Rowena said with a serious expression on her face as she stared at Stacey, who continued to lose blood.
"Are you sure? You know what could happen if you taste my blood?" Adam asked as he and Celeste looked at Rowena.
"It's fine," Rowena replied as she looked at Stacey with a smile while gently stroking her hair and adding, "It's already been foretold."

"What do you mean by foretold?" Ceslste asked curiously.
"Later, we need to act and save Stacey," Rowena replied before holding her hand out to Adam and saying, "Give me your wrist."
"My wrist?" Adam asked in confusion.
"You want me to drink from your neck? Sorry, but that's not happening…. Unless you plan to make me your woman, of course," Rowena replied as she managed a weak version of her signature smile.
"Brood only drink from the necks of their lovers, you idiot," Celeste retorted.
"Oh, right," Adam replied as he remembered what Stacey had once told him before.
He commanded the right section of his ant-gravity armour to retract and reveal his wrist while adding, "Don't show any of this, Spector."

Rowena gingerly reached out to grab Adams' free wrist, but stopped and hesitated when she was about to grab it.
"Rowena?" Celeste asked in concern.
"I'm fine," Rowena replied as she steeled herself and grabbed the wrist before bringing it up to her mouth as her bicuspid teeth seemed to lengthen, after which she looked Adam in the eyes and said, "If I become addicted to your blood, you'd better take responsibility."
Rowena didn't give Adam time to respond as she bit down on his wrist and began to extract his blood and as she did so, the earring seemed to deactivate as her hair and eyes returned to their normal blood-red.
"MMMMMMMMM," All Adam heard was Rowena's moan of pleasure as she got her first taste before a euphoric feeling that he had never felt the likes of before washed over him and clouded all his senses and made his mind forget about everything except that euphoric feeling.
Rowena herself could not believe how delicious Adam's blood was; the documents and texts she had read describing it didn't do it justice. It was so delicious that she couldn't help herself as she swallowed the first amount that entered her mouth.
She had tasted many people's blood over the years, from many different races and none of them compared to Adam's, not her previous husbands and not her familiars. So delicious and satisfying was Adam's blood that her mind forgot about everything other than the fact that she needed to feed on this blood more.
As Celeste observed Rowena feeding on Adam's wrist, she noticed how Adam's eyes lost focus and as she heard her friends moan in pleasure, she turned to see a sight that shocked her. Rowena's blood-red hair was growing brighter in colour and actually appeared as if it would soon turn white. It wasn't an immediate thing and was happening as she fed on Adam. The more of his blood she devoured, the whiter her hair became.
"Fuck," Celeste cursed as she snapped out of her shock and remembered their purpose for being here and shouted, "ROWENA!"
As if the call of her name was a wake-up, Rowena's mind suddenly started to operate again as she also remembered why she was feeding on Adam in the first place and with all the will and self-control she could muster, she released Adam's wrist from her mouth and hands before quickly bending down and placing her bloodied lips against Stacey's as she allowed Adam's blood to trickle from her mouth into Stacey's.
It was unclear if it was because Rowena was feeding it to her mouth-to-mouth or because the Brood quarter of her body responded to the pureblood that had just entered her mouth, but Stacey's body swallowed the blood and as she did so, it started to heal itself.
Stacey's body took the energy that was contained within Adam's blood and began to use it to speed up its natural healing process. If anyone was able to observe, they would see the wound to both Stacey's heart and back healing itself at a speed that was visible to the naked eye before the body used the leftover amount of energy from Adam's blood to produce new blood of its own.
"The bleeding has stopped," Celeste stated happily, causing Rowena to pull back and swallow the last of Adam's blood while Adam himself managed to regain control of his body since the euphoric feeling was gone.
"How is she, Spector?" Adam asked as he looked at Stacey.
[[Scans indicate that the injuries Stacey received have healed and that she has also recovered any blood that she has lost. She is out of danger and should awaken shortly.]]
"Thank god," Adam said before looking at Rowena, who avoided his eyes and saying, "Thank you."
"There is no need to thank me; this is what I should do as her grandmother," Rowena replied while still not looking at him.
"Is something wrong?" Adam asked.
"I'm having trouble controlling my urge to feed on you again. Your blood was far more delicious than I had anticipated, even after reading everything we know about it. If I look at you right now, I might not be able to stop myself from jumping on you and feeding on you until I have my fill," Rowena explained.
Adam nodded in understanding and was about to look away when he noticed something and couldn't help but ask, "Why has your hair colour changed? It's a brighter shade of red"
"What?" Rowena asked absently as she continued to resist the urge to look and feed on him again.
"Rowena, let's step away for a few minutes while you calm yourself down," Celeste suggested as she took Rowena's hand and pulled her off towards one of the nearby trees.
"Good, good idea," Rowena replied as she allowed herself to be pulled away.
Adam tilted his head in confusion, but then dropped the topic as he went back to checking over Stacey.

"Hey, you ok?" Celeste asked as she looked at Rowena with concern.
"Not really," Rowena replied with a small laugh before adding, "My body craves more of Adam's blood and it's taking all my willpower to stop myself from jumping on him."
"Maybe you should feed on him more then," Celeste suggested.
"Not if I don't have to. Later, I need to test if I can satisfy this craving with another's blood. I would rather not get addicted to Adam's blood and only rely on him to satisfy my hunger if I can help it."
"Is it so bad needing to rely on him?" Celeste asked.
"It's not exactly…. Appropriate to feed on another Brood's lover, especially if they are family." Rowena explained.
"Sure, I get that. But this is a special case, I'm sure Stacey will understand."
"I guess, but I would still like to see what happens when I feed on another before making any decisions."
"Then it's a good thing I'm here," Celeste said with a smile.
"You?" Rowena asked in surprise.
"What, is my blood not good enough for you?" Celeste asked back with a pout.
"It's just you never offered in the past, I thought you didn't like the idea of me or any Brood feeding on you. After all, you have turned down many Brood who proposed the idea," Rowena replied.
"Hmph, they only wanted to feed on me as a way to get close to me and through me, Uncle Vlad. You, on the other hand, are my friend and I don't mind letting you feed on me," Celeste replied as she offered her wrist to Rowena, who looked at it in surprise while nodding.
Rowena took Celeste's wrist and brought it to her mouth before…. Before nothing.
"Is something wrong?" Celeste asked in confusion as she noticed that Rowena didn't attempt to take a bite; in fact, even her bicuspid teeth didn't show any sign of lengthening and remained the same size as they normally did.
"It's no good," Rowena said while shaking her head and releasing Celeste's wrist before turning to look at Adam in the distance, which immediately caused her bicuspid teeth to lengthen.
Rowena sighed as she said, "It's too late, my body is already addicted to his blood and won't accept any other."
"It's that fucking addictive?" Cleste asked in shock, "That's like worse than any drug."
"Unfortunately, I'm not surprised," Rowena replied before explaining, "Not only is it delicious beyond belief, but even now I can still feel it enhancing and strengthening my body in ways I have never experienced before."
"Is that why your hair changed colour?" Celeste asked.
"Changed colour? Adam said that it became brighter, What are you two talking about?" Rowena asked in confusion.
