During the time I spent on Earth, I used my extensive database to research possible ways to get the time travel drive to function properly. My conclusion was three necessary components.
The first was the dark matter you acquired on Palaxia. Dark matter exists in everything and has been around since the formation of the universe. This item is necessary for what I will from now on call the 'Time Drive' to function, as it allows the time drive to send us anywhere in time since dark matter has always existed.
The second item you acquired was the Scorpo heart. It didn't necessarily have to be a scorpo's heart because, as you saw for yourself when you flew on Tephe's back, how the creatures capable of travelling in supspace travel differently and far quicker than ships that have subspace drives, even myself.
The heart of any of the creatures capable of subspace travel would have sufficed since that, combined with the time drive to manipulate time, allows me to travel anywhere in the universe instantly.
The final item needed is something that is capable of regulating the energy that the other two release and thus allowing me to control it so that we can travel anywhere in time and space we wish.]]

[[Because that would cause a time causality with effects that I can not calculate. If you went back in time and saved Jenny, you may never fall off the cliff and so never find me. If you don't find me, you would never be able to travel back in time to save Jenny.
This could lead to an infinite number of outcomes, perhaps you save her and you both live happily ever after, but then what about Stacey and Lorelie? They would never meet you.
Perhaps you save her and in the process the you back then dies, which would cause the present you to cease to exist since the younger version of you has already died, thus leading to Jenny being taken away by Stephen while Stacey and Lorelie once again never meet you.
Perhaps you do this and the universe collapses because of it.]

[[No one has ever caused a time causality, so we have no way to know what would happen should you do that. This is why going back in time to save Jenny is one of the few limitations you have for using the time drive.]]
{I see.} Adam thought while slumping his shoulders in dismay.

[[This is all theoretical, based on the years of calculations and simulations I did back on Earth. My original creators believed that they had created a functioning time drive, which is why it was tested in the first place and I ended up on Earth.]]

[[Correct. The original time test was for me to travel one hour into the past and into the adjacent lab, before returning to the present one minute after I left and in the original lab. Needless to say, I never arrived in the adjacent lab.]]
{Tell me about this piece of Solarian tech then and how exactly are we supposed to get it when we are in the Lueat Galaxy?}
[[Prior to the Dwarfinian science directorate determining that time travel is impossible. Many of the more advanced races, including the Solarians, were attempting to create time travel tech. Naturally, they all failed back then and their attempts were abandoned; however, one genius Solarian scientist theorised that something would be needed to stabilise the massive amounts of energy necessary for time travel. He thus created a prototype device that he believed could accomplish such a thing; however, he never got the chance to test said device.]]
{Wait, hang on. If this device was created by a Solarian and you were created by Solarians at a later time, why didn't your creators reference his notes about this device being needed and give you one?}
[[They did and they created their own version of said device which they installed in me before the time test, however it naturally failed and was destroyed when I was thrown back in time to Earth.]]

[[No. The materials it is created from are too fragile to use since the same materials were used in the construction of the one installed in me and we know what happened to that. The reason we need the original is that its design appears to be slightly different to the one installed in me previously.]]

[[That appears to be the case. I surmise that my creators believed they had improved upon the original's design, something that was ultimately proven false.]]
{Do you not have the designs for the original in your memory banks?}
[[Negative. I only have the basic information regarding the original; the design I have is for the one that was installed in me. I need the original so that I can scan it and cross-reference it with the designs of the one installed in me before creating a new one that will hopefully work.]]

[[We are currently in Sector Three and the Galamedees Galaxy is in Sector Two. However, even using the jumpgates, it would still take several months of travel to reach there.]]

[[There is theoretically a quicker way, though it carries some risk.]]
{Oh! What would that be and what risk?}
[[We could use the time drive to try and instantaneously travel there.]]
{You just said we can't use that because you can't control it.}
[[Correct. However, because we would only be using the time drive to activate the Scorpo hearts' function to allow us to travel instantaneously, it wouldn't need to be activated for very long and shouldn't need much power since we don't actually want to travel in time; thus, it hopefully shouldn't stimulate the dark matter, causing us to jump through time.]]
{You don't sound too certain in your explanation. Also, what's the risk?}
[[Thats because this is all theoretical. We are breaking new ground by actually travelling through time. The risks vary from nothing happening to us jumping through time again to an unknown time and place.]]

[OfficialAphrodite (Felinia 7): Don't be silly. Only a few races in the universe can communicate telepathically and that's normally because they lack the body parts to talk like the S'ene.]
