Vlad sat in his throne room, surrounded by the pool of blood, with his eyes closed while patiently waiting until finally someone knocked on the large double doors at the end of the room.
"Enter," Vlad said as he opened his eyes and watched as a male Brood stepped into the throne room and approached the pool of blood quickly before stopping just before it and bowing.
"You called for me, progenitor?" Asema Nosferatu remarked with respect.
"I did, Asema Nosferatu," Vlad replied before saying, "I'm afraid you and your Nosferatu family have a problem, a rather large and substantial problem."
"Problem, progenitor? I don't follow," Asema replied in confusion.
"Your daughter Renne has made an enemy out of someone very powerful and very dangerous, someone who could threaten not only your Nosferatu family but all of Darah Five," Vlad replied and although he wore a warm smile, his voice was anything but warm.
"Renne? I don't follow? What enemy could she have possibly made? As far as I'm aware, my daughter has been focusing on her modelling and acting work as of late."
"No doubt in an attempt to get closer to Rowena," Vade replied before adding, "Unfortunately, that same infatuation she has for Rowena is what caused her to make that powerful enemy."
"I don't follow," Asema replied.
"Tell me. Do you recall the attack that Rowena's granddaughter, Stacey, received eighteen years ago?" Vlad asked.
"Vaguely. As I recall, it was deemed that she was making the whole thing up since her body possessed no wounds and that she created the pool of blood herself," Asema replied in confusion as he wondered why the progenitor was bringing that up.
"Something your Nosferatu family deemed incorrectly. Stacey was indeed attacked and almost killed. She was ambushed from behind and stabbed in the back by your daughter, Renne," Vlad stated.
"What?" Asema asked in shock before shaking his head and saying, "Everyone in the family was questioned about where they were at the time of the incident. Renne and her friends were in the city enjoying the festival of blood with some boys. They all confirmed this."
"That is true, but they only met up with the boys after she had attempted to murder Stacey," Vlad said before indicating to a section of the pool of blood and saying, "Observe."
Asema did as instructed and observed the location Vlad had indicated. He watched as the blood morphed into the figure of four young women before one of them spoke in a voice he recognised as belonging to Amalia Nosferatu, "What the fuck are we doing out here, Renee?"
As Asema watched the blood figures and listened to their conversation, he witnessed everything that happened up until the moment his own daughter, Renne, attempted to assassinate Stacey, after which the blood figures melted back into the pool of blood, which became still again.
"You see," Vlad stated.
"I do, progenitor," Asema replied with shame and anger at learning what his daughter had done before adding, "I will be sure to punish her severely."
"Unfortunately, that won't be enough," Vlad replied and seeing Asema's confused expression, added, "The powerful enemy she made your Nosferatu family from trying to kill Stacey wants the lives of Renne, Merle and Tierney."
Asema's eyes went wide with shock and horror before saying, "But she's my daughter."
"And you should have done a better job raising her," Vlad replied before saying, "I told the enemy of your family that I would pass this message on to you and leave it in your hands to decide what to do, since I don't get involved in the family matters of my children."
"I see," Asema replied as his eyes showed relief that did not escape Vlad's notice, though he chose not to comment as Asema asked, "Who is this enemy and what makes him so dangerous?"
"He is Stacey's boyfriend and he wields planetary annihilation weapons," Vlad replied simply, causing Asema's eyes to widen in horror and fear before Vlad added, "I would suggest you consider carefully before siding with your daughter. Stacey's boyfriend has already stated that he will come for Renne and the others if your family doesn't deal with this themselves.
Now leave, you have much to think about and discuss with the other members of the Nosferatu family." As he finished speaking, Vlad vanished from the throne room, leaving Asema staring at the now-empty throne.
Universal Year 3229
"Seriously, can't you guys walk? Not all of us can fly, you know," Celeste complained.
"Don't you have wings? Rowena said Your race has wings, right?" Adam asked as he flew lower before he looked at Rowena for confirmation, who nodded.
"Sure, but we can't use them in our humanoid form like dragons can; they're only usable in our natural form," Celeste replied.
"Oh," Adam said before landing back on the ground next to Celeste as Rowena touched down next to him.
"Did you seriously have to threaten the progenitor like that?" Rowena asked as the three began to walk.
"As I said before, I never made any threat regarding planetary annihilation weapons," Adam replied.
"Uh-huh," Rowena replied disbelievingly.
"You so did," Celeste remarked.
[HackerSu (Trillion): He so did and it was cool as fuck. I wish I had a boyfriend who would threaten to use planetary annihilation weapons for my sake. You are so lucky, Stace.]

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Shortly after the Brood progenitor met with Adam and Diva Rowena at Horn Manufacturing, he contacted me and asked me to verify exactly what they had told him about Adam and Tephe taking part during the Siege of Fenix Nest, which I naturally did.
To my surprise, he contacted me again a short while later, asking for a favour. If possible, he wanted me to notify him as soon as Stacey's attack had taken place, for some reason, I guess we now know that reason.]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): He can't have known back then that you would know exactly when Stacey's attack took place because you watched it on a stream.]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): He already knew about Adam's stream from their earlier conversation, so I guess he figured that I would be able to watch it because of my past connection with Adam.]
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Yeah, way in the past. Kekeke.]
[OfficialLorelie (Felinia 7): Well, you obviously accepted his request.]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Not exactly. I made a deal with him. I would inform him of when the attack had happened if he did something for me.]
[LadyErkath (Deverinian Prime): You made a deal with a progenitor? What did you want from him?]
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): You will find out soon enough. 😄]
"So what now?" Celeste asked before adding in a hopeful voice, "We can go enjoy the festival if you want."
Adam was about to reply when Spector suddenly spoke up.
[[ALERT: Analysis complete. I believe I have discovered the reason why the dark matter and scorpo blood reacted in the way they did.]]
"That's timing for you," Rowena remarked.
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): She has a point. That timing does seem suspiciously convenient.]
[[Not at all. I actually completed my analysis some time ago, but only informed you now because you were all busy with personal matters.]]
"How considerate," Rowena stated while shaking her head.
[[Yes it was, wasn't it.]] Spector replied, causing Rowena to raise an eyebrow in surprise.

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Don't be ridiculous, AIs can't sass.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Definitely sounded like sass to me.]

"Did your AI just sass me?" Rowena asked in disbelief while turning to Adam, who shrugged before asking.
"So we can return to the present time?"

As Spector made its announcement, Rowena stopped hearing the speech through the earring, causing her to look at Adam with confusion.
