"That's a rather weak reasoning, isn't it?" Elemence asked in annoyance.
"Perhaps, but we both know how things in the universal senate really work. The supreme speaker orders something to be kept quiet, before all the senators then go and quietly tell the heads of their respective galaxies," Revi replied while shrugging.
"Sure, but I'm neither a senator nor the leader of a galaxy," Elemence replied.
"True, but you're my trusted advisor whom I confide in and Adam said it was okay for me to tell you."
"So you're telling me that the man you're secretly in love with is the reason for the universal senate summons?"
"That's correct," Revi replied before realising what she had just admitted to, causing her to glare at Elemence.
"I knew it," Elemence said with a sigh as she collapsed into the chair nearby.
"Damn you, Elemence," Revi cursed.
"Don't curse me, you're the one who just claimed that you tell me everything and yet here you are keeping what is probably your biggest secret from me," Elemence retorted.
"You know that was just a figure of speech; we all have secrets we keep to ourselves," Revi retorted in annoyance.
"Sure, sure," Elemence replied before asking, "So how long have you been in love with this man and where did you meet?"
Revi shifted nervously for a few moments before saying, "Two thousand, two hundred and seventy-five years."
"TWO THOUSAND?" Elemence screamed in shock before she gaped at Revi in disbelief.
Revi scratched her cheek while looking to the side in embarrassment.
"Two thousand, two hundred and seventy-five years ago would be universal year nine, seven, two," Elemence said before realising something and asking, "Wait, nine, seven, two? The year the Siege of Fenix Nest took place and the phoenix hunts came to an end? When did you possibly have time to meet someone back then?
Elemence then remembered the conversation Revi had just had with Adam before adding, "You said he has a finite life, how on Fenix Nest is he still alive if that's the case?"
"He's the black knight," Revi mumbled in an embarrassed tone.
"Pardon?" Elemence asked as she failed to make out what Revi said.
"HE'S THE BLACK KNIGHT, OKAY? THE SAVIOUR OF OUR RACE," Revi roared as she turned to Elemence and shouted before burying her face in her hands from embarrassment.
"The black knight?" Elemence repeated before realisation of what she had just heard struck her and she also yelled, but in shock instead of embarrassment, "THE BLACK KNIGHT!"
"Technically, he's the pilot of the black knight," Revi mumbled into her hands.
"You mean to tell me that the actual black knight is here on Fenix Nest at the same time when we have arranged to honour white dragon Tephe's ancestor, the white dragon that fought alongside the black knight to save our race?"
"Actually, the celebration is for Tephe herself; she was the white dragon back then," Tephe admitted.
"WHAT!" Elemence screamed again.
"You probably didn't realise, since she was wearing armour back then, that hid her appearance, that's also why no one has ever figured out that she is the same white dragon from back then."
"HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?" Elemence screamed in confusion as she clutched her hair before adding, "She's only five hundred and seven years old, I know, because I was there when you and Senator Pevaphio signed the universal documentation making you her godmother."
Revi removed her hands from her face and arranged herself in her chair again before saying simply, "Time travel."
"What?" Elemence asked in confusion.
"Adam and Tephe travelled back in time to the Siege of Fenix Nest where they helped save us before returning to their own time," Revi explained.
Elemence stared at Revi for a few moments before getting up and walking towards the door.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Revi asked in surprise.
"To get the doctor, you're obviously ill, perhaps you contracted that thing that man has, since they're both brain-related," Elemence replied.
"STOP, STOP, STOP!" Revi yelled as she jumped out of her chair and dashed after Elemence, managing to stop her before she could open it.
"I really believe you need to see a doctor, Revi," Elemence said in as calm a voice as she could manage.
"I don't need to see a doctor," Revi replied before explaining, "The Temporal Displacement Syndrome that caused Adam to collapse is caused by too much time travel over a short period of time, Oracle Andromeda herself informed us of this."
"Oracle Andromeda?" Elemence asked in surprise.
"Yes, now will you please allow me to explain everything?" Revi asked desperately.
Elemence studied Revi for a moment before nodding and saying, "Fine."
"Thank you," Revi replied while sighing before she returned to her seat and began to explain everything to her best friend.
"Are you sure it's okay for Revi to tell that woman about the time travel?" Stacey asked as Adam ended his call with Revi, which she had been quietly listening to.
"She's Revi's assistant, whom she trusts more than anyone, so I think she can be trusted to keep quiet about it," Adam replied.
"You know she's probably going to have to reveal to her that you're the pilot of the black knight, right?" Stacey asked.
"Yeah," Adam replied and was about to say more when Spector suddenly spoke up.
"Lorelie, Rowena, Tephe, Aphrodite, Eri and Emma are all trying to call you simultaneously."
"Why?" Adam asked in surprise.
"Ah, well, while you were talking with Revi, I might have mentioned how we could now communicate with you," Stacey replied before sticking out her tongue.
"Should have guessed," Adam said with a chuckle before asking, "Do you know if they are all together or not?"
"They're together," Stacey replied before explaining, "Revi offered to have someone show them around the capital, but all of them declined and said they wanted to wait for you to wake up. In the end, they all found ways to occupy themselves, such as with Emma making a start on her work."
"Understood, put them through Spector," Adam instructed before the virtual world around him once again changed, this time to the room where they all were.
"Adam!" Tephe exclaimed happily as she saw his holographic projection appear in the middle of the room.
"Oh, thank god," Lorelie said in relief.
"How are you, babe?" Rowena asked.
"You sure made us worry," Aphrodite complained.
"It's good to see you're okay," Eri remarked.
"Why are you a hologram instead of on a holographic screen?" Emma asked in surprise.
"It seems to be how Spector projects me when I'm in the virtual world," Adam replied before saying, "Sorry to have worried you all."
"Nonsense, it wasn't your fault," Lorelie replied.
"She's right, you had no way to know that was going to happen," Rowena added.
"You did give us a fright, though, so I expect lots of treats to make it up to me," Tephe insisted.
"Haha, fair enough," Adam replied while chuckling.
Maya flew up into the air and approached Adam, but as she tried to nudge his shoulder, she passed right through him, causing the women to chuckle.
Maya turned around and looked at Adam in confusion before Tephe got up and took hold of her while saying, "It's just a hologram, Maya. He's not really here."
Maya tilted her head in confusion as she continued to stare back at Adam.
"Sorry for worrying you, too, Maya," Adam said as he looked at the young Levithen.
Maya made a strange noise in response, which immediately Tephe interpreted to mean, "She says she's glad you're okay, but is wondering why you wont let her touch you."
"How are you taking what happened back on Earth?" Lorelie asked in concern.
"Lorelie, don't you think it's too soon to ask that?" Stacey replied.
"It's better to get this done quickly; the longer we leave it, the more time any traumas or self-loathing Adam has towards himself will have to grow and fester," Lorelie replied.
"Lorelie's right, granddaughter," Rowena stated before adding, "This is something that needs to be spoken about now so that Adam can get over it and move on."
"Fine," Stacey replied while sighing, before they all looked towards Adam.
Adam sighed before saying, "Honestly, I've been trying not to think about it, I mean, I killed god knows how many innocent people."
"That's to be expected, but as I said, you need to talk about this, babe," Lorelie replied in a soft tone before asking, "Do you know why you acted as you did?"
"I'm honestly not sure. When it came to the time to launch the attack, I just went with the option that seemed right to me at the time; I didn't even think that what I was doing was completely out of character. Only now that I look back on it can I see that."
"That's strange, it's almost as if you were another person in the moments you ordered those attacks," Aphrodite remarked thoughtfully.
