Chapter 190 - Chapter 188: A Bit of Boe Face

Boe Corp headquarters was a domineering looking building. A multi-storey building with huge glass windows, it stood head and shoulders above anything else in the area. Jack did always like to make a statement, it was nice to see some things never changed as time passed. The Doctor let Danni in the revolving doors - very retro, he thought - and they walked up to the desk and the very pleasant-looking young man behind it.

"Miss Fielding!" He greeted with a look of happy surprise, "How are you today?"

The Doctor frowned, stepping forward to answer before she could, "It's Mrs Fielding." He replied and the receptionist nodded.

"Of course, my mistake." He apologised and Danni smiled, trying not to feel too happy about the slightly annoyed look on her husband's face. He always liked to make sure people knew she was married, and married to him. She rather liked the way he always wanted to be associated to her.

"I've got a meeting with the Face of Boe." She told him, "Could you let him know I'm here?" The receptionist frowned, typing something onto his computer.

"I'm sorry, Miss-Mrs Fielding, the Face of Boe isn't here today. I believe he's at the Jeftial building this week." Danni glanced at the Doctor, who seemed just as surprised as she was.

"Jeftial? Is that another planet?" She asked her husband, who nodded.

"A couple of galaxies away." He replied and she smiled sheepishly at the receptionist.

"Ah, well, I guess we'll head there then. Could you tell him we're on our way, please?" The man nodded.

"Of course Mrs Fielding. Have a nice day."

"You too..." she trailed off and the man smiled.

"Jonathan." He added for her and she grinned.

"You too, Jonathan."

Danni and the Doctor walked up to the next reception desk, where an older woman with rather large, round glasses who looked rather fed up of her day. The building looked the same as the last one, it was hard to tell if they'd moved anywhere at all.

"There can't be any more, can there?" She asked and he shrugged.

"That's what we thought about the French headquarters." He replied and she groaned. The Face of Boe, as it turned out, wasn't at Jeftial. They'd been directed to the Red Swan headquarters, who hadn't seen the big head in a jar for almost two months, after all they were only a small headquarters and he rarely bothered himself with such small areas of business these days. The receptionist, Jane, had heard he was going to be in the Grand Sea headquarters, and, well, it had continued in that fashion for another six headquarters. His empire was vast, she had to congratulate him on his business skills if she ever made it to the meeting.

She leant on the front desk, crossing her arms as she used it to prop herself up. She was getting sick and tired of travelling office to office, "Hi, I'm Danielle Fielding, I have an appointment with the Face of Boe and we have been to ten different headquarters. Please tell me he's here."

The woman with the big glasses shot her a grin, "No, you are definitely in the right place, Mrs Fielding." She told the blonde, who let her head fall onto her arms in relief.

"Oh, thank you!" She exclaimed to anything and anyone who would listen before looking up at the receptionist. She had seemed like a nice lady when she and the Doctor had first walked in, but now she was her favourite person, "What's your name, sweetie?"

"Maureen, Mrs Fielding." She told the blonde woman with a hit of amusement at the fact she didn't raise her head off the desk, "I shall let the Face of Boe know you've arrived." Her eyes flickered to the man the daughter of her boss had brought with her. He was rather good looking, and very well dressed, "I'm afraid that your companion will have to wait out here, though." She told the woman apologetically.

The Doctor opened his mouth, ready to correct to woman when Danni looked up from her arms sharply, "He's my husband, not my companion." She replied firmly, "He's allowed anywhere I am, the Face of Boe knows that."

"I'm sorry, Mrs Fielding, but the appointment is still only for you. He'll have to wait here." Maureen replied apologetically but Danni shook her head.

"No, he comes with me. Otherwise I'm leaving, and I've just been to ten different offices trying to find where this bloody appointment is..." The Doctor quickly stepped up to her as her voice rose, her annoyance and anger coming through at the poor woman behind the desk. He turned her around, hands on her hips like he knew she liked.

"Why don't I go pick up Clara and take her on a little trip?" He offered, "We can pick you up afterwards, then," He dipped his head, a smirk on his lips, "afterwards, all three of us can go somewhere?" She flushed at the thoughts she knew were running through his head. He pressed his lips against hers, just a quick gentle caress that definitely wasn't enough considering what he had just implied was waiting for her after the meeting was over.

"Afterwards?" She asked hopefully and he nodded before leaning his forehead on hers.

"Afterwards." He promised and they stood in each other's embrace for a few moments longer before she reluctantly backed out of his arms, turning to Maureen.

"Okay, he's going. Can I see the Face of Boe now?" She asked and Maureen nodded, motioning to a door just to the side of the desk.

"If you head straight through there, his office is on the 4th floor. The elevator will take you straight to him." She replied and Danni placed one more kiss on the Doctor's lips before heading towards the door.

"Straight afterwards?" She called as he headed back out the front doors.

"You can count on me, Danni-Girl!" He called back, disappearing outside as Danni headed into the hallway. Maureen watched the two with some amusement. It was nice to see Mrs Fielding with a man nearer her age; that older man with the severe eyebrows always seemed a bit too grumpy for the happy woman.

~0~0~0~

Danni stepped out of the elevator into a giant office, simply but elegantly decorated with shelves lining one wall and a desk at the other. Behind the desk, rather than a chair, was the Face of Boe and Danni couldn't help the smile that spread slightly on her face, happy to see him. However, the smile faltered at the sight of the man stood next to him. He was wearing a suit, hands clasped in front of him.

"Welcome, Mrs Fielding." The man greeted as she approached the desk, "I am Jeffery Simpson, the personal assistant to the Face of Boe."

"Hello," she replied slowly, slightly wary of the man who seemed to be joining them, "I thought I was just here to see Jack, er, the Face of Boe?"

"You are, there's just some legalities to go through first." He replied kindly, obviously trying to reassure her, "First off, I must remind you that anything stated within a private meeting with the Face of Boe is not condoned or the opinions or actions of any of the companies affiliates or subsidiaries." She nodded.

"I remember that." She replied, "Do we have to go through this again?"

"Just a couple more things, Mrs Fielding." Jeffery promised her before reaching onto the desk, holding out a large pile of paper, "Now, I just need your signature on these privacy forms, then we'll move onto the finger print analysis."

"Oh, let me see them." Danni said, holding her hand out. He placed the pile in her hands and she chucked them over her shoulder, scattering the papers everywhere, "I don't sign privacy forms." She told him factually, "Nor are you taking my finger prints. Are you going to kick me out?"

Jeffery sighed, "Mrs Fielding, you cannot talk to the Face of Boe without signing those forms."

"Well, then, I guess I'm not talking to him." She replied simply, looking over his shoulder at the big head in a jar, "I don't know why you invited me, you knew I wouldn't agree to this."

Because it is rather amusing to see them try and argue with you.

She started slightly at the voice in her head, forgetting for a moment that the Face of Boe communicated telepathically. Apparently, though, Jeffery didn't as he just groaned slightly in annoyance.

"Sir, you know the protocol is to have every visitor sign the nondisclosure forms." He told the giant head.

She is my daughter.

"I know but-"

"Are you arguing with your boss?" Danni asked, trying to keep a straight face, "That must be grounds for dismissal, right Jack?"

Jeffery sighed in slight annoyance as the Face of Boe chuckled in their heads, "Fine, don't sign the forms." He grumbled slightly before turning professional once more, "You're expected to leave for Saturn in just over an hour, sir. Would you like me to remind you?"

I think I can remember, thank you Jeffery.

Jeffery left them alone in the room, Danni still stood just in front of the desk as the Face of Boe took over the entire space behind it. She had always thought it was a bit strange how she could accept all the Doctors as the Doctor and yet as separate men and the same applied to Jack and the Face of Boe. He was Jack, and yet he wasn't, he was the Face of Boe.

You can sit down, you know?

She nodded, quickly moving to the desk in front of him, "Sorry, was expecting some more of your lackies to appear." She teased, "So, what can I do for you, Boe Face? Don't you have an Empire to be running?"

It can wait. He replied, I felt you disappear from existence, Danielle. What happened?

"Oh, that." She murmured before frowning, "Hang on, that was reversed, how can you even remember it?"

I am very old, and very well-travelled, Danielle. He replied grandly, I can feel the ripples in the universe when time changes. What happened?

"The Great Intelligence jumped into the Doctor's Time Stream and began to rewrite his life. It meant that you never met River and I-" She shrugged, because she still didn't like talking about him and River being her parents. They weren't her parents, they were just two people who'd had sex, "But Clara saved me, she saved us all."

She is the Impossible Girl, if I remember correctly.

Danni nodded, smiling softly at the thought of her friend, probably her best friend right now apart from the Doctor. She'd really saved more than herself and the Doctor by jumping into his time line, "Yeah, she's amazing." Danni told him, "So, just checking up on me to make sure I was okay?"

You know I will always care about your wellbeing. He replied and she couldn't help feeling slightly touched by his concern for her, Now, how about some spaghetti?

She laughed out loud at the suggestion. She had noticed that it was a bit of a tradition with Jack, to take her to that restaurant down the road from his house and buy her spaghetti bolognaise, and she always accepted it because she would never say no to the delicious dish. She had to admit, though, that she wasn't expecting the Face of Boe to continue with the habit.

"Sure, why not, Boe Face?" She replied, kicking her shoes off before placing her feet on the desk, getting comfortable, "We need to talk about how many headquarters your little empire has. Do you have any idea how many planets I had to go to just to find you?"

~0~0~0~

Clara smiled again as she looked at her new living room; she adored how she'd decorated it, and now every time she saw it she couldn't help but feel happy and proud at it. She always tried not to wonder if Danni would like it or not, after all she wasn't living there, it didn't matter really.

It was a Thursday, however she knew the person hammering on her front door was going to be a Time Lord, most likely the Doctor given the incessant knocking. Danni normally was a bit calmer, and she would always try and give Clara a quick call before they landed, just so she knew they were coming.

"You're two weeks late." Clara told the Doctor as she opened the door, getting right to the point. She frowned as she saw only he was stood there, "Where's Danni?"

"With Jack." He replied, stepping in and looking over the room with what she guessed was supposed to be a critical eye. There was a two seater sofa in front of a television, random pictures of things he didn't really recognise on the walls. There was a shelving unit with pictures of her with who he guessed was her family, with pictures of his Danni-Girl dotted amongst them, "You've not done too bad of a job with this, have you?"

"I know, it's like I can do things without you." She retorted, shutting the door, "So, finally come to pick me up because you're bored?"

"I suggested I should come pick you up while she was with Jack because she wouldn't go in without me." He replied smugly as he walked over to the shelves, picking up a picture of his wife. She was stood by Clara, a smile on her face, not overly posing like she might have back in her first body, but obviously very happy. He placed it down again, spinning around, "So, your choice, my treat!"

"Anywhere?" Clara asked, obviously intrigued and he nodded.

"Anywhere you like." He agreed and she beamed, rushing out of the room to grab her coat, coming back a moment later ready to go.

"You're never going to address the fact that you are late, are you?" She asked him as they headed out of the flat, Clara letting him out first so she could lock up behind him.

"I'm not late." He replied, "I came exactly when I was supposed to." She shook her head.

"I know what you're like, remember?" She teased, "Just admit you're late."

"I'm not late!" He protested, "You just expected me earlier than you should." She grabbed his arm, hanging off it.

"No, you were late!" She teased him, "If Danni had been with you, she would have made sure you were on time." They stepped out onto the street outside, walking towards the TARDIS. The Doctor looked down at his friend as he gently removed himself from Clara. He knew she only did things like that – hanging off him like she was his girlfriend – because he only liked Danni to do that, but it didn't stop him becoming slightly uncomfortable at it.

"How is that going, by the way?" He asked with his usual amount of tack.

"What, the fact that I'm hopelessly crushing on your wife?" Clara asked in reply, trying to turn it into the joke, "A lot better than I was expecting, actually. You know where I want to go?"

"Where?" He asked, appreciating the fact that she wanted to change the subject. Honestly, he'd not expected an answer at all.

"The moon." She declared, "Danni said it was boring, but I don't believe her. You're a spaceman, take me to the moon." He paused at the TARDIS front door, brow furrowed confusion.

"The moon?" He repeated, "Is that all you want?" She nodded.

"Why, don't think you can do it?" She challenged and he fell for it, opening the door and storming inside.

"If you want the moon, I can take you to the moon!" He cried.

~0~0~0~

Apparently, he couldn't. No, that wasn't fair. They'd landed on the moon, then taken off again. Then landed, then taken off again. The Doctor called it a materialisation loop, and apparently the TARDIS caught herself up in them quite often, but it was best not to head back to the place in question straight away. Clara had left him to fiddle with the console while she headed to the theatre; he'd said something about the astronomy tower not being right, but she hadn't been listening, really. She found it difficult to laugh at his arm waving and making up of jargon to make it sound like he knew exactly what was going on, something she was normally rather good at. There was a part of her that wanted to snap at him for being so bloody foolish, a part of her that wondered how he could have become so childish and bumbling as he'd gotten older. She knew it was the other parts of him being petulant at the sight of their successor.

She'd been surprised, as she had processed the little changes to herself, just how much each Doctor hated all the rest. And then there was that mysterious grey-haired one, with such burdened eyes that she didn't dare ask him about. She didn't have much memories or feelings from that one, but if she focused hard enough, she could find that little bit of self-hatred that came from the one who wasn't the Doctor. When she had a handle on it more, maybe she'd suggest that he could talk about the hidden non-Doctor a bit more. Until then, she kept that to herself. After all, she hadn't just seen all of him and kept some that had over spilled, he'd suddenly had someone he knew and was close to see every part of him. Clara had seen every bad day and every good day, and even though she didn't retain most of it, she can't imagine what it would be like to be confronted by the person who had seen it again and again. Quite frankly she was rather proud of him.

She ran a hand through her hair, pausing as she reached the back before yanking her hand away. That hadn't been her, that had been his previous self. Ten, as Danni called them so Clara had taken to doing the same, had been the one who liked to run his hand through his hair when he was thinking. She'd never done that before, and yet she caught herself doing it more and more these days. It was just little things like that, really, that worried her the most. She hadn't suffered through grand changes in characters, although she seemed much more restless recently, but the little things shining through really made her pause. A run of her hand through her hair, reaching for another biscuit when she used to only have a couple. Little bits of him that had made it through her observations and had now become part of her.

The door opened and she turned from the finished episode of Simpsons, although she hadn't watched any of it, to see the Doctor peaking around the door with a grin on his face.

"So, the moon?" He asked temptingly and she beamed, jumping up. It was about time.

~0~0~0~

Danni had moved from the desk after the food and moved to lean against the glass of the jar the Face of Boe liked the float around in. He'd suggested it to begin with, and while she hadn't been overly comfortable being that close to him to start with, it very quickly became a very comfortable place to sit. He was showing her images in her head, pictures and memories of planets he'd travelled to before he'd lost his body. Beautiful landscapes with glorious sunsets, just calming scenery as they chatted lazily about nothing in particular.

"I always wanted to go skiing." She told her big Boe face, eyes closed as he showed her the snowy peaks of a small planet a few hundred years travel away from Earth, "I'm getting near a hundred, and I've still not been."

A hundred years old? You're getting old, Danielle.

She opened an eye and she could have sworn a smile graced the lips of the giant head. He didn't seem to show many emotions anymore, but she could feel his amusement in her own mind. When Theta had started training her, the feeling of someone else on the outskirts of her mind had been a bit strange, now it felt more natural. The Doctor was still the only one to go in any deeper, but the Face of Boe talking to her like he was speaking out loud didn't bother her anymore.

"Says you, gramps." She teased in reply, "The last you I saw still had legs, you can't call me old."

You'll always be my little girl.

She tensed slightly at the statement, pushing off the glass, "Jack, I've told you about that." She told him lowly, "Well, I did tell you about that. I suppose you can't be expected to remember everything, not matter how big your head is."

The Face of Boe chuckled in her mind at her little insult, which caused her to cheer up slightly, I know, Danni-Girl. But I am very old, and you will always be my little girl.

Danni didn't know what to say, didn't particularly know how to feel. Coming from Jack, in his human form, with two legs and two arms, she would have stormed off without another word. But she could feel the millennia the Face of Boe had lived through, how much grander he felt over everything else, and somehow it seemed wrong to correct him. He had so much, but everything had to be so fleeting for him, she didn't want to take that away from him.

She leant back against the glass, "Can you convince the Doctor to take me skiing?" She asked him, bringing them back to their trip down his memory lane, "I get the feeling that he might not be willing to take me somewhere I can fall down the side of a mountain."

I'm inclined to agree. You were always so clumsy.

"Oi, at lease I've not lost all my limbs." She retorted, closing her eyes, ready for him to project into her mind again, "Where's the best place you've ever been?" She asked him, "Where you'd go back to in a heartbeat. Or a Boe-Beat, or whatever it is you have now."

You're a lot cheekier in this body than I remember you being. He told her before her inner vision swam with images of a place she knew she'd seen before, but couldn't place for a few moments. It appeared to be a city, with sky scrapers and masses of people walking through the streets without a care for one another at all. It was New Wales, and she smiled fondly at the image.

"I should have known Cardiff would always be home to you." She told him, "I do love your house there, although it's not as grand as a giant jar."

You visited me more there than any other time period. He told her and she frowned, Only years would go by between visits.

"Do I leave you on your own often?" She asked.

There is no one at fault. With lives that stretch out as long as ours, decades only seem like hours. Centuries are only days. You have a life to live, and I was more than happy to watch you live it.

"I don't like the idea that I never go and see you." She told him, "I'll have to try better."

I would like that very much, Danni-Girl.

They fell into a comfortable silence once more, images of New Wales floating through her head. It had been a while since she'd seen Jack, hadn't it? She really should go see him before he became a successful man – or giant head – of business.

"What is it that you do, exactly?" She asked him, "I mean, I actually have no idea. I just know you're absolutely everywhere."

Oh, this and that. He told her vaguely, I dabble in different areas of anything that takes my interest. We've just bought up a chain of boutiques in the neighbouring quadrant. I can't say I have a need for clothes anymore, but they have dealings with some of our clientele I'd like to keep an eye on.

Danni snorted, "I should have known you'd find a place in life where you wouldn't have to wear any clothes." She teased, "You were always such a perv, Harkness."

Only when I'm with you, Danielle. Even now you bring out the worst in me.

"I bring out the worst in you?" She laughed, "Says the man who went home with both his executioners and bedded one of his daughter's best friends."

I think you'll find she bedded me. I was just a victim, Danielle.

"And I'm still ginger." She replied, "Admit it, you're a perv. A giant blue head of perv."

She could hear the smirk in his inner voice and couldn't help laughing with him as he replied - guilty as charged, Danni-Girl.

~0~0~0~

Clara took her helmet off, shaking her hair out with a happy flourish, "That was amazing!" She told the Doctor as he stepped back into the TARDIS, taking off his own helmet, "I don't know why she said it was so boring." He placed his helmet down on the pilot seat as he headed to the controls.

"I think she just said that to make you feel better about missing out on the anti-grav." He told her, "We played tag for hours, then we had a picnic in the air bubble." He drifted off into the memory. That had been a fun day, only a few decades ago. Danni had enjoyed looking at the Earth from the distance, even though it wasn't the first time, and he'd very much enjoyed the ice cream they'd had.

Clara smiled happily, straightening slightly at the idea of Danni cheering her up, before shaking her head at her instant reaction, "Maybe you need to take her on better dates." She teased him, sauntering up to the console and leaning back against it, "I could."

The Doctor snorted but didn't say anything else, just fiddled with the controls some more, probably to make it look like he was doing something and Clara frowned, "What, don't think I could?" She replied.

"Oh, definitely not. But it's cute that you think so." He replied, "Why don't you go get changed and we'll go pick her up?"

Clara crossed her arms, never one to back away from a fight or a competition, "Go on then, Spaceman. Best date?"

He paused, thinking about the many centuries he'd known Danielle. All the places they had seen together, all the people they had met, "I took her to watch a planet being born." He told her, "The seventh planet in the Rigal system. We hung in space and sped through time, watching the rocks come together until a new planet floated in the heavens. Then, I took her down to walk on it. You know how she loves being the first person anywhere." He smirked at the annoyed look on Clara's face, knowing that she was thinking about how great his date with Danni was, "Think you can top that?"

Clara didn't say anything for a moment before a smirk of her own spread on her face, "A marathon of all the Treehouse of Horror Simpsons episodes. Back to back, in the dark, with toffee popcorn." She told him, "Then I'd let her choose any horror film she wanted to watch. We'd cuddle on a giant sofa under a blanket." He stared at her, amazed at how he had never thought of that before. His Danielle cuddling up into his side, maybe even being scared enough to huddle into his chest…

"Alright, go get changed." He told her firmly and she nudged him.

"Don't feel bad, I'm a fantastic date. Maybe I'll take you on one next, if you're lucky." She taunted and he silently mocked her as he pressed he flipped the monitor around to him, ready to call Danni back on the video phone and tell her he was coming to get her. He frowned at the messages being displayed for him and quickly played the last one, which was always the most important one. If it was something urgent, it would tell him all he needed to know. If whatever was wrong had been sorted out, the last message was always someone telling you it was fine. He never liked to read the endings of books, but the last message on an answering machine was always an excellent place to start.

"Where are you, Spaceman?!" Danni's voice called out, sounding a mixture between angry and upset, "I've been ringing you for hours! You better call me back or get your arse here!"

Clara, who had paused in the doorway, spun back around in alarm at the sound of her friends voice before rushing back to his side, "Are we really that late?" She asked him as he quickly flicked a couple of switches, sending them flying back to the correct Boe headquarters.

"I don't know." He told her as the TARDIS very quickly landed. He didn't even pause to take off his spacesuit, dashing out onto the street outside. There didn't appear to be any immediate danger, no one seemed anything but surprised at the two people in bright orange one-piece clothing. He'd not landed far from where he knew Danni would be waiting, and he and Clara quickly made their way through the crowd as politely as possible until they spotted Danni at the doors, pacing back and forth with her phone at her ear. She was ranting until she spotted the two. Her face contorting in her anger and she jabbed the phone in their direction as they came rushing towards her.

"Where the hell have you been?" She demanded, "I've been waiting almost three hours for you to ring me back!"

"I'm sorry, you know how temperamental the TARDIS phone lines have been the last couple of decades." He replied but she didn't look convinced. The Face of Boe left promptly on time for his trip to Saturn, leaving her to get in touch with her husband to get him to pick her up once more. So she phoned him, and he hadn't answered. Nothing unusual about that, so she'd left it ten minutes and she'd tried again. And then again.

After two hours of waiting she'd become pretty pissed off at him. She wasn't too bothered about him being off on his timing most of the time, she wasn't scared about him not coming back, but usually when he left her waiting it was with somewhere to go and people to spend time with. She didn't know anyone on this planet, the only creature she did know was on his way to Saturn. Really, she wasn't pissed off at him as just terribly bored.

And it wasn't like she'd had a bad time. She'd really enjoyed just lazing around with the Face of Boe, because their meeting hadn't been much more than them having a chat while he ate spaghetti. It was nice to spend time with a version of Jack she'd really spent very little time with so far, and he'd obviously just wanted to spend some time with her. She didn't like the idea that she didn't visit him so much, after all he was immortal because he'd died to save her. He at least deserved to be kept company now she could actually visit him more often. She did love Jack an awful lot, in a much different way than she did the rest of her friends. He was always there for her and seeing him as a big head just made her realise how much he really meant to her, and how she appreciated him in her life.

She was starting to see him in that fatherly position in her life, but she wasn't ready to admit that so she was grateful when Clara spoke up, so she didn't have to express her worry about that fact.

"Is that why you didn't come last Wednesday when I called?" Clara asked. Suddenly the Doctor being late made a lot more sense.

"I thought you had fixed that." Danni told him and he shrugged, grinning sheepishly.

"I tried, but then you came in wearing-"

"Woah!" Clara exclaimed before he went any further, "Let's leave it at that. We're late, the Doctor's sorry, now we're heading back, right?" Danni nodded, taking the Doctor's arm and he felt slightly better about being blamed for a fault that obviously came from the TARDIS, not from him.

"How about we go somewhere brand new?" He offered as they headed back towards the TARDIS, "Somewhere even I've never been before? Somewhere no one has?"

"Oh, that sounds brilliant!" Danni exclaimed, her bad mood rapidly fading at the idea of stepping onto new ground no one else had stepped onto before. New, undiscovered ground could mean so much. New animals, new plants. New wind blowing in her hair, new sun shining on her skin. She was a sucker for new planets, and this was definitely no exception.

The Doctor smirked at Clara over his wife's head, who rolled her eyes when she realised he was doing this to show her he could take Danni on a better date than she could. Like he was actually worried she was going to try and date his wife. Honestly, she had no desire to date Danni, or take her away from him. His insistent was starting to make her wonder if he knew something about it that she didn't. But then she realised that he'd always been stupidly jealous when it came to Danni, and this just gave her ample opportunity to tease him mercilessly.

For the first time since she'd woken up on the TARDIS and realised the consequences of her saving his life, she saw just how much fun this was going to be.
