"How many hours has it been already? They should be dead by now. We should just leave and forget about all of this," one of Representative Drayth's workers said. The Magus looked at the special portal that the Dragon Hunters went through and glared at it as if the portal had done something to her.
There were at least ten workers there, all of them Magus of the first circle. Healers were also around, waiting.
"Don't even think about it. Representative Drayth wants to get his hands on the survivors. Will you be the one to tell him that his precious survivors were nowhere to be found because you left your post?" another worker sneered at her fellow workers.
All of them were bored and tired of waiting. What they wanted was for the Magus to rush through the portal, screaming their heads off, so they could be done with the Dragon Hunters.
