Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Architects of the Engine

Far from the planet Earth lies a galaxy inhabited by beings beyond human comprehension. Among its many worlds dwell ancient powers that have existed for millennia. One such world was Auraven, home to the Celestials—or the Elohim, as some call them. The skies of Auraven were a shimmering tapestry of liquid gold and crystalline data-streams; massive citadels, carved from solidified light, drifted through the atmosphere like clouds. The entire planet was enveloped in a resonance of music and high-frequency harmonies.

Deep within the Temple of Lumine, three High Seraphim stood around a pulsating sphere of condensed starlight. They were entities of terrifying beauty—twelve-winged beings clad in technological suits of shifting geometry and advanced nanotech.

"The Hellaeron siege has torn the fabric of space and breached the dimensional barrier," the First Seraphim spoke, its voice a symphony of chords. "The Demonic fleets have moved beyond the physical realm. They are consuming the very concept of peace; they seek the dissolution of all things."

"We cannot hold them without the High Throne," the Second replied, its wings flickering with a nervous, blue hue. "Since the Great Disappearance, the peace of Auraven has been a fragile illusion. When God vanished from the Seat of All Existence—and Celeston, the High Throne, vanished with Him—we lost our anchor."

The Third Seraphim, Lead Architect of the Auraven Defense, stepped forward. "The Titans are extinct. Their raw matter-manipulation was the only force capable of countering the Helaeron's numbers and their dark ambition. However... we have found a trace."

The Architect waved a hand, projecting a holographic display of a distant, blue-and-green marble: Earth.

"The lineage of Celeston persists," the Architect continued. "A single vessel. A young girl. She carries the dormant Titan-DNA from the Roaming Centuries and the high-frequency Grace of the High Throne. She is a unique anomaly—a hybrid of Matter and Light."

"She is a child," the First Seraphim countered. "She cannot withstand the pressure of her own blood. If she awakens naturally, her human shell will be incinerated by the sheer output of her soul."

"Which is why we have completed it," the Architect said, gesturing to the glowing sphere. "The Celestial Engine. An advanced AI interface designed to act as both governor and catalyst. It will translate her divine heritage into a format her mind can comprehend: a 'System.' It will allow her to level her power in increments, tempering her vessel until she can claim the Title of Throne from her ancestor."

A dark, ominous tremor shook the temple—the shockwave of a distant explosion from the Hellaeron front lines.

"The demons have sensed the anomaly," the Architect warned. "They are tearing open portals to Earth. They seek to snuff out the spark before it becomes a sun."

The three beings placed their hands upon the star-sphere. "Transfer the Engine," the First Seraphim commanded. "Link it to the Knight girl. Let it be her shield, her teacher, and her judge. If God has truly left us, we must create a being to find Him—or at least hold the darkness at bay until He returns."

The sphere vanished in a silent burst of speed, streaking through the cosmos toward a small high school in the suburbs of a oblivious world.
