Today, a grand amusement park welcomed the most extraordinary group of guests since its opening.
Aside from Lazuli, who wasn't familiar with Grand Zeno and the others, Uchiha Chiga and everyone else—including Grand Zeno himself—had arrived.
Grand Zeno's two guards had swapped their usual attire for black suits and sunglasses, following closely behind him like professional bodyguards.
Beerus and Whis hadn't bothered changing, still dressed in their official uniforms. The Grand Minister wore a light blue polo shirt and gray trousers, giving off the impression of a retired bureaucrat enjoying his day off.
Vados and Marcarita, however, were dressed to impress. Vados wore an elegant emerald-green dress, while Marcarita's indigo-blue gown shimmered in the sunlight. Their angelic beauty drew countless stares, and the soft fabrics of their dresses accentuated their perfect figures.
Meanwhile, Chiga kept his look simple—black short-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and his long snow-white hair loosely tied back. Yet, even with such plain clothing, his striking looks couldn't be hidden.
Yes, devastatingly handsome. Uchiha Chiga's appearance was at an almost unreal level. Combined with his calm, divine aura, it wasn't an exaggeration to say that he could make weaker-hearted girls faint just by smiling.
In the short time they'd been there, more than a few people had approached him for his contact information. Chiga, ever polite, smiled and turned them down gently each time.
Marcarita puffed her cheeks and muttered, "Humans really are so dull. They just can't stop pestering!"
Vados laughed softly. "They weren't bothering you, Marcarita. Why get so upset?"
"I'm not angry! Not at all!" Marcarita flicked her twin pigtails, her face puffed in obvious denial.
Chiga snapped his fingers, and eight tickets appeared between them in an instant. Though he used magic, he'd still paid for them—coins materialized directly into the seller's drawer.
He distributed the tickets one by one. But when it came to Grand Zeno, there were none left. The tiny deity tilted his head and asked, "Chiga, where's my ticket?"
Chiga simply pointed toward a notice at the entrance: Children under 1.5 meters may enter free when accompanied by an adult.
Instead of taking offense, Grand Zeno beamed. "That's great! I saved money!"
As the group entered, Beerus and Whis were immediately drawn to a row of food stalls. Within moments, they were sampling snacks and had already drifted away from the others.
Meanwhile, Chiga led Grand Zeno toward a brightly painted carousel. "That's the ride I mentioned earlier—'the big horse.' Want to give it a try?" he asked, smiling.
Grand Zeno's oval-shaped head bobbed eagerly as he stared at the spinning horses. But just as he approached, a park employee came over and said kindly, "Sir, please don't let the child ride alone—it's dangerous."
Chiga blinked, glancing at the carousel. Sure enough, every child was being held by an adult.
Before he could answer, Zeno's two guards stepped forward in unison. "We are willing to serve Grand Zeno!"
The staff member froze, staring at the tall men in suits. What kind of rich kid brings bodyguards to an amusement park? she thought.
But Grand Zeno shook his head, clearly hesitant.
Then, the Grand Minister stepped forward, bowed slightly, and said, "Allow me, if Grand Zeno permits?"
The little god nodded happily. The Grand Minister took his small hand and led him onto the ride.
To be honest, with the Grand Minister's youthful face and short stature, people unfamiliar with him might have mistaken him for Vados's son rather than her father.
The Grand Minister lifted Grand Zeno onto a small white horse, then mounted it himself. As cheerful music filled the air, the carousel began to turn.
The sight of the universe's supreme beings gently circling on painted horses was almost surreal. Grand Zeno waved at nearby children while the Grand Minister smiled, the two looking oddly wholesome—like a father and son sharing a simple day out.
Marcarita leaned close to Vados and whispered, "Can you believe this? When we were kids, Father never carried us like that."
Vados smiled faintly. "You can't blame him. We had too many siblings. Still, he spoiled you the most. Remember when you made Whis cry? He didn't even scold you."
Marcarita frowned. "You and Whis ganged up on me! You even braided my hair like Kusu's!"
"What? Kusu's braids look great," Vados said with a teasing grin. "Maybe you should try them again."
"Tch, why don't you try braids? Maybe Chiga would like that more."
Chiga tapped Marcarita's head lightly. "Stop teasing. Vados looks best with her ponytail."
Marcarita rolled her eyes. "You've got a real thing for ponytails, huh?"
Vados chuckled softly and leaned toward Chiga, lowering her voice. "Tell me, Chiga—what does it feel like to have a child?"
Chiga smirked. Of course, he knew what she was implying. Sliding an arm around her waist, he said teasingly, "Why don't you find out yourself? I imagine it feels wonderful."
Vados smiled slyly. "How could I possibly do that alone? Only you can help with that."
Marcarita, who had overheard every word, gasped and pointed at them. "Hey! I'm right here! Can you not flirt in front of me?!"
Chiga sighed. "What's it to you? What—do you want a child too? You still look like one. A spoiled one."
Marcarita stomped her foot and pressed her head into Chiga's chest, using her signature move—the Angel Headbutt. "I'm not a kid! I don't even remember how old I am!" she protested, voice muffled.
Chiga gently pressed her head down. "Then behave. Keep this up, and I'll have to spank you."
Her cheeks flared crimson. She instinctively covered her rear, then lifted her chin defiantly. "Go ahead! Hit me if you dare!"
Raising an eyebrow, Chiga tapped her head. "Done."
It took Marcarita a few seconds to realize what had happened. When she did, Vados burst into laughter.
"Chiga! You're so mean!" Marcarita shouted, flailing her tiny fists in mock fury.
Chiga only smiled faintly, utterly unbothered. For gods and angels
at the peak of creation, it was just another playful day—one filled with laughter.
