Chapter 184 - Chapter 184: The Amber Purifying Pot

Uchiha Nagi, inside his Susanoo, his Gundam, battled the eight-tentacled Eight-Tails. The Tailed Beast had horns on its head, two arms, two legs, and eight octopus tentacles. In terms of physical advantage, the Eight-Tails was truly unmatched. While its chakra was less than the Nine-Tails', its physical combat prowess far surpassed it. And its eight slippery, resilient tentacles were its primary weapons.

This is tricky, Nagi thought, narrowing his eyes as he maneuvered his Gundam, constantly dodging.

Killer B himself was a master swordsman, a beast of a man who could wield seven blades and bring even a Mangekyo-wielding Sasuke to the brink of death. If not for Karin's healing and Sasuke's own plan to feign death and escape, he would have been cut down. Now, seeing that the bulk of Nagi's combat strength was in his swordsmanship, B relentlessly used his eight tentacles to try and grab his sword and entangle him.

Just then, the Eight-Tails, Killer B, spat out a massive cloud of ink, drenching the Susanoo. Nagi was baffled. Does he think he can win just by blocking my vision? I'm not an idiot. The Susanoo immediately took a great leap backward.

BOOM!

It landed heavily on the ground, and the nearby Hidden Cloud Anbu were terrified, afraid they'd be caught in the crossfire.

"Wait, Uchiha Nagi. Let's talk." From within the massive cloud of dust, a figure as small as an ant slowly emerged. It was the Fourth Raikage, A.

"What do you want to talk about?" Nagi replied from within his Susanoo.

"You are a rogue ninja of Konoha. Given the chance, they will surely not let you go. I have a suggestion. How about you join our Hidden Cloud Village?" the Fourth Raikage said gravely. "As long as you join the Hidden Cloud, I can overlook what has happened before."

"Yo, yo! Join the Cloud, it's all good! The Cloud is one big happy neighborhood!" The Eight-Tails, Killer B, also stopped, though his massive body doing a hip-hop dance was less comical and more terrifying.

It was true. If Nagi joined them, it would be a win-win for the Hidden Cloud. They would get Turtle Island back, and they would gain a powerful kekkei genkai user. Give him eight or ten kunoichi, and in a few years, a new bloodline clan would be born.

Raikage A's offer was sincere. He could tolerate the death of his father; what was a conflict with Nagi in comparison? As long as it benefited the Hidden Cloud, he could cast aside some unpleasantness. The reason A was the Raikage wasn't just his strength; it was because he always put his village first.

"Hmph. Unless you let me be the Raikage, I'm not interested. I don't like taking orders."

The Fourth Raikage's face instantly darkened. "Are you sure? An opportunity like this doesn't come often."

Nagi chuckled. Better to be the head of a chicken than the tail of an ox. "I have no interest in being someone's subordinate. Unless you invite me to be the Raikage."

"In that case, you can go to hell!" the Raikage said, his face grim. "Uchiha Nagi—"

"Hm!?"

Just as Nagi was wondering what was going on, a powerful suction force suddenly pulled at him. On top of the Eight-Tails' head, another figure had appeared—a clone of Raikage A, holding a large urn.

"Be sealed, Uchiha Nagi!"

As the immense suction began to tear at him, Nagi firmly plunged the Sword of Totsuka into the ground. He recognized what that thing was: the Amber Purifying Pot, one of the Sage of Six Paths' tools that only appeared in the final war.

The Amber Purifying Pot was said to be able to suck in anyone who responded to the user's words, but the details were vague. Did a conversation count? Nagi had just exchanged several sentences with the Fourth Raikage. Besides, the pot didn't necessarily require a verbal response to seal someone. Otherwise, how had they sealed the Eight-Tails with it?

So that was it. The Raikage A who had appeared before him was just a clone. The real one had been hiding with the urn all along. After confirming that Nagi wouldn't surrender, he had immediately moved in for the kill, to seal him away.

The massive suction force shook Nagi's Susanoo. The mountain-sized avatar, even with its sword anchored in the earth, was being dragged forward step by step, the Sword of Totsuka carving a deep trench in the ground.

The Amber Purifying Pot... they had something like this, and they kept it hidden for so long. What a trump card. Nagi's pupils contracted as he stared at the urn.

Now he understood why even Nagato had been so cautious when attacking Konoha, sending in his Six Paths of Pain to test the waters first. Only after gauging a village's full strength could one attack without reservation. The Land of Lightning had not only preserved its strength through several ninja wars but had also kept many things hidden. The Six Paths Sage Tools were one of them. They were likely useless against a Six Paths-level Madara, which was why Madara had contemptuously discarded them as trash, even though others considered them priceless treasures.

But against anyone below the level of a super Kage, the Sage's tools were still treasures. Kinkaku and Ginkaku, the men who had killed the Second Hokage and the Second Raikage, had been powerless once they were sealed. One in a gourd, the other in an urn, unable to escape.

And if he were sucked in, it would all be over.

Nagi didn't believe for a second that the Sage's tools lacked the ability to block space-time ninjutsu. Otherwise, how would Tobirama Senju have died?

With all his might, he had his Susanoo throw a kunai marked with a Flying Thunder God formula, hoping to teleport away and escape the pot's suction.

Swish!

But the Eight-Tails, Killer B, had seen Nagi's intention and extended an octopus tentacle to intercept the kunai.

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Nagi formed a hand seal with one hand, and the single kunai multiplied into hundreds, scattering in all directions. Killer B only managed to block a portion of them.

Now!

Nagi activated the Flying Thunder God, instantly leaving his Susanoo. However, in the next second, a strange power interrupted his teleportation, and he was sucked straight into the urn.

Careless. The Sage's treasures are even more powerful than I imagined. Outside the Susanoo, I was sealed even faster...

"Hahahaha! Now you're finished! I forgot to tell you, there's no air or water in the Amber Purifying Pot. I hope you can last a day," the Fourth Raikage laughed, sealing the lid and patting the urn tauntingly. "Don't you worry. After you're dead, we'll take out your body, and while it's still fresh, we'll extract your cells and leave you some descendants. In twenty years, the Uchiha clan will be reborn in the Hidden Cloud."

Uchiha Nagi: "..."

The Hidden Cloud shinobi all breathed a sigh of relief. After cleaning up the scene and making sure nothing was missed, they turned and headed back to the village. The Fourth Raikage was clearly in a good mood. He had finally dealt with this troublesome opponent who gave him nothing but grief. People who could use the Flying Thunder God were just too disgusting to deal with.

"Yo, hey! Big Bro caught an Uchiha today! Plant one Uchiha, and next year you'll harvest a whole bunch, yeah!" Killer B rapped, doing his signature dance.

POW!

A slammed his fist on Killer B's head, roaring, "Shut up! This is a secret, it can't get out! Bee, you keep your mouth shut!"

Uchiha Nagi found himself in the space within the Amber Purifying Pot. It seemed to be a different dimension. The only fortunate thing was that there was no strong acid or anything of the sort, so he didn't have to worry about melting into a puddle any time soon.

"No immediate danger to my life, but this environment is certainly not good." Nagi frowned and tried to launch a ninjutsu, but the moment the fireball left his hand, it dissipated, its chakra instantly absorbed by the urn.

And, most critically, the air here was growing thinner...
