Elvis coughed for some time as Eden stared at him, worried. "Hey, are you okay?" He walked up to him and went down on his knees before Elvis.
Eden studied his face for a while as he coughed. "Why do you look pale up close?"
Elvis shook his head. "I'm fine. I'm... I'm fine," he said, clearing his throat.
Eden stared at him; he could tell he wasn't. Eden immediately placed a hand over his chest and used his powers to run a diagnosis.
"Why haven't you taken the antidotes I gave you for the poison yet?" Eden demanded after figuring out what was wrong with him. He peered into his face. "What the hell were you thinking? Do you want to die?"
Elvis said nothing; he simply stared away as though avoiding his eyes.
But Eden stared at him, worried. "Are you protesting or what? Are you a kid? Why haven't you taken the pills? And you've been fighting and getting hurt all this while? What if you actually died? Then what?"
