Chapter 104 - Veer is caught?

He kissed her forehead and held her hand "I will not let anything happen to you. Doesn't matter what, I will always be with you. To support you and protect you."

"But t-the h-heir. What if I can't-" she tried to ask while sobbing silently.

"I don't care. As long as we are together, I don't care about anything. And if you still think about heir, let me tell you one thing. I don't care if we can have children or not. I don't care if our child can get the throne. I will still love them. And about the throne, I will give it to Ahil if our children are unable to inherit it."

Ira's eyes widened in shock. The throne her husband wanted his entire life. The throne he worked hard for. He will give it to someone else. Doesn't matter even if it's Ahil, she can't imagine Raksheet giving his throne to someone else. He have given his entire life to work hard for that throne. How can he give it to someone else?

"No, you will not." She said in low voice, shaking her head slowly and crying.

He cupped her cheeks and said in low voice "I hope I will not. But if our children are weak or can't inherit the throne, we have to leave the throne and pass it to Ahil. And I don't really care about throne. I love my kingdom and I just want my kingdom to be safe and secure. And after me, only Ahil can do that. I am sure you also think the same way. Ahil is like my own child. I have raised him and I will be happy to give him throne."

She held his hand suddenly and exclaimed "It's not about that. You have worked hard for it. You have all the qualities to be the king. You can't break your dream and loose your position because of me." She tightened her grip on his hand and said "Promise me you will never leave the throne."

He looked at her with soft helpless eyes "I can't." He held her hand "I also don't want to leave the throne but we can't be selfish and keep it if we are not qualified to have it. And that's why, I want you to take treatment so that we can have strong children."

She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.

'Stop it, stop it Ira. You know you are able to give a perfect heir to your husband. Then why are you crying?' as she thought it, a tear fell from her closed eyes. 'I can't let him loose the throne. I will give him a perfect heir. Strongest, powerful and smart. No one can compete with him ever!'

She opened her eyes and looked at her husband, patiently waiting for her answer.

She tried to smile and nod "Alright, I will take the treatment."

He smiled widely and hugged her immediately. "Don't worry, I will not let anything happen to you. trust me."

In Aaro....

Veer clicked his tongue in frustration, walking in his chamber back and forth, finding a way to poison Viraaj again. But it's seems like everything has turned against him since he came back from Jwalana.

First of all, Viraaj is drinking the medicine Ira gave him and it's helping him recover fast. Second, the lowly servants of his palace are acting too smart. Preventing him from touching Viraaj's food and drinks. Even the guard outside Viraaj's chamber is not letting him do anything. He is paying close attention on Veer whenever he enters in Viraaj's chamber to meet him.

"What's happening? Why? Why?! Why?!!" He yelled suddenly and sat down on his bed, holding his head in his hands and tugging his hair in frustration.

"What do I do? Even that idiot Pavan got crowned but I didn't." He left his hair and looked arround "I have to do something fast if I want the throne and more powers." He stood up from his bed "Sorry grandfather, but this is the least you can do for me. You gave everything to Ira. Your time, money, love, everything. Now it's my turn."

"What is in dinner tonight?" Agastya asked to the maids working in kitchen.

The maid told the dinner list and showed him the preparation for dinner.

"Alright. Remember what I told you before. Don't let anyone touch the food before it gets served on dinning table. Only Queen Daksha and king Dhishva is allowed to touch it. Except for them, no one is allowed to enter in kitchen and touch the food. Understand?" He reminded them. He do it every day so that they can understand the seriousness of Viraaj's health.

"Yes." They replied and he glanced at them, observing everyone to see if anyone is suspicious before leaving from there.

When he came out of the kitchen, his eyes fell on Ankush. He was standing outside the kitchen, waiting for Agastya to come out. His expression were serious.

"What are you doing here?" Agastya asked. He glanced inside the kitchen and held Ankush hand. He pulled him away from there. "Come here." He dragged him towards a empty place and asked. "What happened?"

"I saw king Dhishva and Veer. I don't know if it's just my overthinking or what. But I saw him dragging Veer in his chamber and he closed the door shut. He was looking angry and Veer was scared.....maybe." He said with worried expression.

"What? W-Where did you saw them exactly before they entered in his chamber? Hall? Gallery? Where?" Agastya investigated.

"In gallery, near his majesty Viraaj's chamber." Ankush replied, his breathing heavied in tension and his heart was racing inside his chest. "Everything is fine, right? Nothing will happen." He asked to calm his heart. This is his first official mission and it's making him nervous because may be he have to face something disastrous.

Seeing his flustered look and fear in his eyes, Agastya cupped his face with his both hands and tried to console him. "Nothing will happen. Everything is fine. And even if it's not, we will fix it. We are strong. We will fight together. Alright? We can do it. I am with you."

Ankush nod slowly and tried to calm down. "I am sorry. I-I don't know what happened to me. Panick rushed in me-i am sorry."

"It's fine. Everything is fine." Agastya pulled him in a loose hug and patted his back "Calm down. It's normal on your first mission. I was scared too when I first came to Aaro."

Ankush nod and hugged him tightly "Thank you."

They broke the hug and Ankush asked "But what now. I am feeling like something happened. King Dhishva was looking fierce. They came from near his majesty's chamber."

"Don't worry. I will take care of it. You go and take a look on his majesty. I will go and try to find out what happened."

"Alright." Ankush replied and went away from there.

Agastya ran his fingers in his hair. He was worried too. If Veer is able to enter in Viraaj's chamber, he can do anything now. He ran towards Dhishva's chamber.

The door was closed. He thought to ask the soldier that guard outside the chamber to hear the conversation and tell him later what they are discussing but the soldier was not there.

"Where the hell he went?!" He cursed in low voice and tried to look around to find him. But he was no where to find.

Not having any other option, he had to eavesdrop to hear their conversation. He looked arround carefully before stepping towards the door. He tried to hear by putting his ear on door.

"Are they really inside?" He asked to himself because he can't hear anything.

"What are you doing?" The sudden voice made Agastya flinch. He looked behind and found the soldier that guards on Viraaj's door.

His eyebrows knitted in confusion and asked "What are you doing here? You should be outside his majesty's chamber right now."

The soldier grittted his teeths and breathed deeply.

"I know. But that idiot Veer forced me to leave my place."

Agastya's eyes widened in shock. He held his hand and pulled him away from the chamber so that Veer and Dhishva can't hear them if they come out.

"What do you mean he forced you to leave your place? How long you have been away from his majesty's chamber? You left him alone?" Agastya asked hurriedly.

"No, his majesty is not in his chamber. Queen Daksha took him out for a walk. And I tried my best to come back as fast as I can."

"But where did you go?"

The soldier sighed deeply and showed the water jug lazily. "The jug was empty, so he asked me to go and fill it. I told him that attendees will do it but he is too stubborn or I say sly. He ordered me to fill it immediately."

Agastya started to think what Veer could have done when there was no one in the chamber. And the only thought made him shiver.
