Agastya started to think what Veer could have done when there was no one in the chamber. And the only thought made him shiver.
"What are you doing here? And what were you doing eavesdropping there?" He pointed towards Dhishva's chamber where Agastya was standing before.
He came out of his thoughts and replied in serious tone "Something happened. You were away from his majesty's chamber and may be Veer entered in the chamber."
"May be? He indeed entered in his chamber. That's why he made me leave from there."
"And Ankush told me that King Dhishva dragged Veer in his chamber. He was looking angry. May be he saw Veer doing something in his majesty's chamber."
"I knew it!" The soldier exclaimed "I knew he would do something. What now? What if he again messed up with his majesty's medicine as you told me last time."
Agastya took a deep breath, thinking for a way to save Viraaj. He looked up at the soldier and said.
"Ajit, go and throw his majesty's all the medicines away. King Dhishva and Veer will take time to come out I guess. Go quickly and throw away all the medicines or any edible thing is there. And scan the chamber carefully. See if anything is displaced or anything is new in his chamber. Alright?"
Ajit nod "alright."
Agastya patted Ajit's shoulder "Go fast."
Ajit left from there and Agastya again went towards Dhishva's chamber. But doesn't matter how hard he tried to hear, no sound or voice was coming from inside.
Ankush searched for Viraaj when he didn't found him in his chamber. He ran in entire palace to find him and finally found him in garden. Daksha was holding his arm and helping him walk. He have recovered a lot since he came back from Jwalana but Daksha is always careful for him.
Ankush went towards him greeted respectfully "Greetings, your majesty."
"Ah, Ankush. Come come." Viraaj smiled widely after seeing him and forwarded his hand towards him.
Ankush quickly held Viraaj's hand and asked "How are you feeling, your majesty? I came to meet you in your chamber but you weren't there so I came here."
"I am good. Why you wanted to meet me? Any problem? Did anyone said anything to you?" Viraaj asked and before Ankush can answer, he said to Daksha. "Daksha, help him deal with the people who tried to disturb him. Give them warning not to bother Ankush."
"Yes your majesty." Daksha replied and looked towards Ankush. "Ankush, did anyone said something to you? Someone bullied you?"
Ankush waved his hand in air as no "No no, your highness. No one bullied me." He scratched the back of his neck and said in low voice "I am not a kid for someone to bully me."
Viraaj laughed to hear Ankush's comment and said "He is right. With such a well built body, no one can dare to bully you."
Ankush looked down, feeling shy and Daksha chuckled "But still, if someone tries to bother you, tell me immediately. Fine?"
Ankush nod "Yes. Thank you so much your highness, for thinking so much for a lowly servant like me."
Viraaj slapped Ankush's back "I told Agastya to stay away from Veer but now, I think you should stay away from Agastya. He is the one teaching you such a words, right?"
Ankush chuckled and replied "No no, your majesty. He didn't taught me anything."
"Then why are you talking like this?" Viraaj caressed Ankush's head "You are like my grandson. Don't say something like that again, alright?"
Ankush's heart melt to hear Viraaj. Never in his entire life someone said that he meant something for them. He always thought that there is no one who need him or care for him. He always wanted his parent's love but never got even a glimpse of it. But now, someone is saying that he have a place in their life and he do care for him.
"Alright." Ankush replied with tearful eyes and smiled.
"Ah, look at you. You indeed have a soft heart." Viraaj said and pulled Ankush in hug.
Ankush wanted to protest as he can't hug a king but the warm embrace and loving pat on his back, made him surrender and cry. He gripped Viraaj's cloth tightly and tried to control his emotions. Viraaj rubbed Ankush's back to console him and broke the hug.
"Now stop crying and tell me why you wanted to meet me."
Ankush wiped the tears from his eyes and replied "I was missing my grandfather. You are just like my grandfather. You look like him and you talk to me nicely too. So I thought to meet you." He looked down and quickly wiped the remaining tears from his eyes.
Viraaj smiled and patted Ankush's shoulder. He pulled him close by wrapping his arm around his shoulder "Fine. You can come to me whenever you miss your grandfather. But whenever you come to me, come as a grandson, not as a servant. You remind me of my granddaughter Ira and I don't want to see you sad."
Ankush nod and looked up at Viraaj with smile "I understood. I should leave now. I have a lot of work to do."
"Fine. Go. Work hard." Viraaj said.
Ankush left from there and went to meet Agastya.
'I have to protect him! No one ever said that they like me or accepted me. Finally there is someone who want me to be happy. I can't let anything happen to him. I will protect him!' All the way he was reminding himself that he have to protect Viraaj.
"How is he?" Agastya asked.
"He looks fine. He is in garden." Ankush replied "Did you find out what happened? Did you hear their conversation?"
Agastya shook his head "No, I couldn't figure out what happened. The door was closed. Even the guard outside the chamber is not there. I tried to hear their conversation but couldn't."
He sighed helplessly and continued "Ajit, my friend which is the guard outside his majesty's chamber, he told me that Veer forced him to leave his place and entered in the chamber. I am sure he did something and king Dhishva saw him. I asked Ajit to search his majesty's chamber and throw his all the medicines away."
"What if his majesty asks about his medicine?"
"I have placed some of his majesty's medicine in his almirah. No one know about it. I will put them near his bed. He won't be suspicious." Agastya replied but still, he had a fear bubbling up in his heart.
He closed his eyes and tried to take deep breaths.
"Are you alright?" Ankush asked.
Agastya opened his eyes and nod "Yes. I am fine. Go back to your work before anyone suspect us."
