Tears fell from his eyes "Trust me Anaya, since that day, I am regretting doing that. I know I hurted your feelings but I am hurt too. I.....I love you."
She looked away and gulped in nervousness, not knowing what to say.
"If I wanted, I would have forced you to marry me because of the contract but I won't. Because I love you."
"W-Why are you telling me this now?" She asked sternly, without looking at him but her tears were telling everything she is feeling.
He looked down at his hands and took a deep breath. "Because I don't know whether I will be able to see you again or not."
Her breath hitched in fear.
"I am going on war, soon. It's my first war that too as the commander of Jwalana army. I have to not only win the war but also keep everyone safe as much as possible. Even if it makes me sacrifice myself."
"Stop it." She don't wanted to hear his nonsense anymore. It's making her feel guilty for treating him like this and scaring her that may be this is their last meeting.
"I always wanted to tell you how much I love you. But didn't got any chance. But today, I want to tell you everything that I am holding in my heart." He walked towards her and stood infornt of her. She didn't lifted her gaze to look at him but her tears didn't stopped showing her love for him.
"I love you Anaya. I want to live with you. I want to marry you. I want to make family with you and spend my entire life with you, only you. I am sorry for everything I have did that have hurted you. I know it's hard for you to forgive me but I won't stop trying. I don't know whether I will be able to say sorry again in future. That's why I came to seek forgiveness from you. My first war may be my last and so is my love. You are my first and last love."
He wiped the tears from his eyes, controlling his emotions he said. "It's your choice whether to forgive me or not. It's ok if you don't want to. But just don't hate me."
After saying that, he left from there and Anaya finally let her emotions take over her and cry hard. She fell on floor, questioning her fate that why she have to go through this. Her love betrayed her and now asking her to forgive him. And even if she forgive him, she don't know if she can see him again.
During dinner time, everyone was having their dinner in their chamber as no one want to see Viraaj's chair empty. Specially Ira. She is still recalling all the memories with her grandfather. The way he used to feed her, pamper her. The way he used to console her whenever she cry then why he is not coming to console her now.
Raksheet filled the plate with food and went towards Ira on bed. He sat down beside her and asked her to eat but she shook her head.
"Princess, you didn't eat anything since yesterday night. You didn't even had your breakfast. Please eat something." He requested.
"I am not hungry." She said looking away. "You eat. You too have not eaten anything since yesterday night."
"I won't until you eat." He said. He made a bite and forwarded it towards Ira's mouth.
She moved her head away, refusing to eat. Raksheet sighed tiredly.
"Please princess. Eat something. Your grandfather won't like that you are not eating anything because of him."
Her eyes teared up by the mention of her grandfather and she said "I miss him."
"We all miss him. And I know he was too close to you and you must be missing him more than anyone else but you can't just ignore your health like this. You remember you fainted today? The healer had told us that you should eat on time and stay healthy or else you might faint again. You have to take your medicine too."
She wiped the tears from her eyes and nod.
"Then eat the food." He forwarded the bite again towards her mouth and she ate it obediently.
She looked at him and the way he was feeding her, it reminded her of her grandfather and she burst out in tears, hugging him.
He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and kissed her forehead.
Shreyansh was preparing to leave from palace after taking the money from Dhishva to shut his mouth. He was walking through the corridor when suddenly Agastya hit him with a rod. Shreyansh lost his balance and fell. Ankush immediately held him and dragged him away.
When Shreyansh opened his eyes, he found himself tied with ropes and a cloth was wrapped over his mouth. His eyes were heavy, feeling dazed and a sudden pain in his head made him shiver.
Ankush and Agastya were sitting infront of him, looking at him with pure hatred and disgust.
Seeing them, Shreyansh tried to scream and free himself. His arrogance was still on its peak that made Ankush boil in anger. He grabbed the wooden rod and went towards Shreyansh with fast steps and started hitting him without any break. Agastya didn't said anything and let Ankush vent out his anger.
Shreyansh screamed in pain but no one can hear him because of the cloth over his mouth and the second reason was they were deep in forest. No one can hear him as no one dares to enter so deep in forest because of the rumours Agastya has spread about a wolf pack roaming in forest. Only Cabail and Agastya's men know about the warehouse in the forest.
After giving a good beating to Shreyansh, Ankush stopped, breathing heavily and making every part of Shreyansh's body bleed. He went back to his seat and drank water but still his anger was on its peak. He wanted to beat Shreyansh to death but controlled himself as they have to get the information from him. They have to make him accept his crime and testify against Veer so that they can prove Veer's crime and throw him behind the bars.
Agastya stood up and grabbed the glass of water. He kneeled down infront of Shreyansh and made him drink it. Shreyansh drank it hardly and Agastya left him, making Shreyansh's head hit the floor and making him scream in pain.
"It's hurting, isn't it?" Agastya asked to Shreyansh, walking towards his seat.
Shreyansh didn't said anything and kept on staring at them with his half closed eyes.
"Pretty much I guess." Ankush mocked. He looked at Agastya and asked like a complete psychopath "Should I give him some more beating?
