Rin stood there for a moment, staring at the scene in front of him. His original plan was simple: walk to Lucien's wing, complain later about being forced to walk, then tell Lucien everything about the demons.
But the garden in front of him ruined that plan especially the awful scene.
The chained slaves and the bruises on every part of their bodies, the blood on the ground and Mirielle's excited grin.
And worst of all... some of the slaves were Omegas. Rin's gaze lingered on them a bit longer. They were all thin and shivering, thanks to the cold. Most of them are even trying to stand properly with their weak legs. Not even treated as human.
He could walk away. He usually did since he didn't come to this world to be a hero. He wasn't trying to save the world. He wasn't trying to be good. He did things only when he felt like it, not because he wanted to be righteous.
But...
Omegas.
He couldn't ignore Omegas.
Especially not ones being treated like toys.
