Seiki smirked knowingly, "A new game."
Kushina snapped angrily, "It says this is about the pride of the Bijuu!"
"Two."
"It says if anyone dares look down on it, it'll destroy the world!"
Danzo, who had little knowledge about the Nine-Tails' current state, immediately became nervous, "What? Is that monster trying to break its seal?"
However, neither of them paid him any attention.
"Three. No more than that."
"Hmm~ Deal!"
Guy muttered to himself, "So the Nine-Tails' pride is only worth three games?"
Danzo was even staring wide-eyed, "Isn't it supposed to destroy the world?"
Kushina shot him a sidelong glance, "Destroying the world isn't as fun as playing games!"
"That's actually true," Danzo said instinctively, but quickly changed his tone when he noticed the odd looks from everyone, "I mean destroying the world is such a terrible thing."
Nearby, Asuma mumbled quietly, "Big Brother Minato was worried Kushina would be lonely living in the village alone, but judging from the situation now, it seems completely different!"
Kushina proudly stated, "If I weren't so bored out of my mind, do you think I'd actually use Transformation Jutsu to join a silly competition?"
Maybe her voice had been slightly too loud, drawing a crowd toward them.
"The Great Fox Spirit is here!"
"Gambling Demon Lord, please teach me your gambling secrets!"
Seeing a large group of people swarming over, Kushina immediately got scared and ran off, "I'm outta here first. See you later!"
Afraid he'd end up like Kushina, Danzo bolted right after her.
In an instant, people were running back and forth chaotically.
Asuma looked at Anko teasingly, "You're not The Second, right? How come no one has come looking for you yet?"
"Well, that's naturally because..." Anko seethed silently—were those guys blind or what?
Fortunately, it seemed heaven had heard her prayers.
The next moment someone came rushing over excitedly.
Seeing this, Anko immediately cheered up, "See, here comes someone!"
Asuma, however, skeptically examined the approaching figure—was this guy really excited just because he saw Anko?
According to his many years of experience, hanging around Seiki passively reduced your aggro by 999%.
Trying to keep her cool, Anko casually waved at the newcomer, "There's no need to get so excited. This *Student Council President* hasn't even graduated yet..."
Whoosh!
The man dashed past her like the wind, rushing excitedly straight toward Seiki, "You must be Senior Seiki!"
Watching Anko left speechless in the gust of wind, Asuma patted her shoulder sympathetically, "Don't worry about it. You'll get used to it."
With a gentle smile, Seiki asked, "Junior, what's your name?"
"I'm Iruka Umino!" Iruka exclaimed excitedly, "My dream is to become a legendary ninja just like you! Also, my parents were saved on the battlefield thanks to the Medical Scroll Senior developed!"
Hearing Iruka's voice, many students from the Ninja Academy turned their attention toward them.
"That's the legendary Senpai who graduated just three years ago?"
"Have you heard? Senior Seiki is the central figure of The Great Ninja World War — he turned the tide of the entire war all by himself!"
"How amazing! It's said he's taken down many Jonin!"
"Not just Jonin! Even the Kage of Iwagakure couldn't stand against Senior Seiki!"
Many powerful ninja had appeared at the Ninja Academy, such as the Sannin and the Legend of the White Fang. But those ninja felt too distant to them; nothing could compare to the impact Seiki had on them — someone who had only just graduated.
Other ninja's performance during The Great Ninja World War also paled in comparison to Seiki's brilliance.
To make matters worse, teachers loved using Seiki as an example, constantly comparing the students unfavorably with him and calling them the worst class he had ever taught. Under these circumstances, they couldn't help but remember Seiki.
As Seiki was about to be surrounded by curious students, a stern voice came from behind them.
"What are you all crowding here for? If you don't want to participate in the School Festival, go back to class immediately. Luckily, Hokage-sama has offered fresh insights into the Will of Fire series..."
Before his words even finished, the students scattered away frantically in terror.
"Teacher Yamakei, please don't be so hasty!"
"We're leaving right away!"
Seeing how quickly the crowd vanished, Asuma muttered in disbelief, "Who knew the old man's books would have this effect!"
Kei Yamakei shook his head, "These kids keep talking about wanting to become ninja like Seiki, yet when they hear what it takes, they run faster than anyone else!"
Iruka asked excitedly, as if he had obtained some ultimate secret technique, "Teacher Yamakei, does mastering the Will of Fire really allow someone to become an outstanding ninja like Senior?"
"Of course!" Kei Yamakei encouraged him, "Look at First Hokage, Second Hokage, Third Lord — they were all excellent ninja who grasped the Will of Fire, which is why they became Hokage!"
Iruka exclaimed enthusiastically, "I understand now! No matter how dry and dense those books are, I'll memorize every word and understand their meaning!"
Kei Yamakei smiled with satisfaction, "Good, that's the kind of determination we need!"
Asuma stared at Yamakei in disbelief. Teacher Yamakei, don't you feel even a little guilty about pulling one over on these kids?
However, seeing the fiery passion in Yamakei's eyes, Asuma suddenly felt uneasy — could it be that Yamakei actually believes this?
"So scary! Iruka is already corrupted. I can't hang out with him anymore!" Seeing the terrifying aura radiating from Iruka, Anko silently stepped back a few paces.
Just as Anko was thinking this, her peripheral vision caught sight of a Uchiha boy walking toward her fiercely.
"Shisui Uchiha! Has that punk finally decided to make his move?" Taking a deep breath, Anko got into a fighting stance. "Bring it on! Don't think I'll take it easy on you just 'cause you're a kid..."
She hadn't even finished speaking when the same incident that happened to Iruka repeated itself again.
Shisui Uchiha walked past her directly without even glancing her way, stopping only when he reached Seiki.
"Senior Seiki, may I ask you a question?"
"Certainly," Seiki responded with a slight smile, though inwardly he pondered deeply.
When it came to Shisui Uchiha and Itachi Uchiha, one must view them from different perspectives.
If he was a member of the Uchiha Clan, he would naturally have to find a way to quickly eliminate traitors. But as part of the Hokage lineage, he was already a beneficiary of the existing system. Viewed this way, perhaps he shouldn't try changing their two minds.
But in reality, if they could betray their own clan today for transcending narrow clan-based nationalism, tomorrow they might betray Konoha for going beyond parochial national patriotism, or even betray the entire shinobi world for surpassing narrow ninja chauvinism.
"So those two still need a serious amount of discipline in the future!" Seiki thought secretly.
As for how to discipline them — well, naturally it would involve The Third purifying their souls with the Will of Fire! And preferably the extra-strong, deluxe edition of the Will of Fire!
Unaware of Seiki's "malicious intentions," Shisui asked curiously, "Is true understanding between people actually possible?"
Seiki remained silent for a moment, then shook his head slightly. "I'm not sure either."
Shisui exclaimed in surprise, "How can that be? You're the one who founded the Psychology Club. I've read the teachings left by former members. They inspired me greatly."
"The original purpose of the Psychology Club was to observe and analyze people's inner states, creating a space where they could let go of their inner burdens and emotional pain," Seiki said solemnly. "However, the human heart is simultaneously the simplest and most complex thing in the world. No one can completely understand it, so I can't give you a definite answer."
Shisui looked disappointed. "Is that really how it is?"
"But there's one thing I do know — if you want others to understand you, you must first try to understand others!" Seiki smiled warmly, like sunshine. "It's just like spreading sunlight into others' hearts — you have to carry that light within yourself first!"
